881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: International Money Transfer on: May 29, 2017, 03:11:09 AM
Bitcoin transaction fees are related to how large your transactions are.

Bitcoin might still be a cheaper choice to send international money transfers but the fees are getting larger and larger. Blame politics, human nature for greed and control or pride.

I fee that now Bitcoins are no more so attractive to send or received money but it is good only for investment purpose. Because I send money through bank to my home country without any additional charges and if I do a transaction in business hours then the transaction will be done less than one hour time. But nowadays even after paying highest fee sometimes, we may need to wait for few hours to get the transactions to confirm on blockchain network. I consider bitcoins are good only for investment purpose.
882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian government seeks public comments on how bitcoin can be regulated. on: May 26, 2017, 02:07:17 PM
Indian government has recently asked public comments on how bitcoin can be regulated.I think it has come one step down.At first,it was discussing how bitcoins could be banned. Now it has asked people to comment whether bitcoin should be regulated, banned or observed. One person has commented that it would be better to stop the misuses of crypto currencies instead of banning it.If government goes with the suggestion of this above person, then it would be beneficial for the progress of both indian economy and Bitcoin community.

Bitcoin can be regulated only by the core devs and miners.
The Indian government can`t do anyhting about that.
They can only observe the bitcoin growth.
the need to tax everyone who converts BTC to fiat and vice versa  Grin

Obviously, if the Indian government decides to regulate bitcoins then it would come under RBI which means FEMA act would be imposed on bitcoins.

https://www.mygov.in/group-issue/commentssuggestions-invited-existing-virtual-currencies-framework/

The government is mostly concerned about consumer protection.

India already has 400+ Fintech startups and the government legalising bitcoins would definitely lead to large scale BTC adoption in India.

But I dought that Indian government will do it so fast because the even USA and many developed countries are not done yet. Also, the Indian government didn't allow even Paypal to do a business because they want to track all the transactions and want to put taxes on each transaction which I think Paypal didn't agree. How are they going to put a taxes on bitcoin transactions? I think it will be a just discussion but they may fail in regulating it.
883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin on: May 26, 2017, 02:01:58 PM
This is a good step from the casino owner. If this is successful and move without any issues for quite some time then surely bitcoins demand will grow exponentially. Because this hotel business is very big in worldwide. But if they implement it correctly and don't face any issues then it will be big news for bitcoin holders and traders. Earlier Fiverr was also accepting bitcoins but they stopped after some time so if these guys also do the same mistake than it will be a big setback for using Bitcoin in mainstream businesses.
884  Economy / Economics / Re: The best investment you ever made? on: May 24, 2017, 09:24:47 AM
Bitcoin it self is a good investment but if you want to earn more you can also do trading. You just need to research and learn about the certain coin you want to invest to make sure that it's worth every penny you will put in that coin. As for me I am holding Nem and Ripple.

Ripple is one altcoin that has good potential for future investment and in trade even has good price movements. Maybe the next few months the ripple price will be able to compete with other big altcoins

You can consider to another two good altcoins like NEM and Waves. Both are very good and currently, prices are very reasonable and next one to two years time surely we can make a lot of money from these two coins as well. As of now, ripple pumped up a lot so don't know for short term how the prices will move. I also invested in IOTA, which is still not listed in any exchanges but I find it a good coin to invest in it. But it needs more time to see very good results from this coin.

affiliate commissions, really not easy. I tried it in many different ways, but no accept my link. If you have any strategies to achieve it, please guide me. It's a great thing if you own at least 5 referrals. Thank you.

there really isn't any simple method to gain referrals for any service in general.
you need to find a target audience, you can start by putting the referral link in your signature. but mostly i would suggest finding gamblers that may be interested in playing online. and then introduce them to bitcoin and gambling with it online and how easy it is. then give them your link. and as i said it is not easy by any means.
Yeah gettng an affiliatie is hard. You need to put some effort to convice him ti become one of your affiliate. Aslo you need to promote it like putting their banners in any popular website here like newsbtc.com or any such of website that trully have big traffucs everday but you need to cost it by putting your refferal link so what herbert2020 say it's hard
The only way I am doing it is posting my referral link in facebook groups that are related to Bitcoin Gambling and Bitcoin Groups in general. And it works the only downside to it is you are not the only one doing it in fact a lot of people are posting referral links all day long, so what you need to do is keep your post on the top by commenting ot so it does not get flooded by new post. All you need is patience and you will see that your referrals will grow.

This process takes your lot of time, and the profit will be quite less. Instead, if you can make it automated process the posting into these social media by using some software, then it is a more efficient way. I did try to promote some other products long back and had some success but didn't try it for gambling sites. But if you get a couple of high rollers under you then you can earn some decent amount passively.
886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 21, 2017, 05:10:55 AM
I think Dhoni will make a difference in the match and i really wish Pune win this final with all the drama associated with the team in the beginning when Smith was appointed the captain they have come a long way to play as a team when needed and reach the final and it is just one step to win the tournament and i hope they can do that.

The big day is here. Mumbai have a lot of star power and big hitters. If one of them really get going, it could be tough for Pune.
Pune on the other hand have the cool cucumber Dhoni. They will want to bow out in style from the tournament.

In this short format game, anything can happen on a given day. Both teams are good and that's they are in final. But as you said MI got good hitters and if they opt to chase down the score then they may do it easily and sometimes it also depends on the pitch. In this match Pune should choose to chase the score then they will have a better chance of winning this game instead of defending the score. It is a good match to watch and enjoy and I will not bet on this match today.
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: May 21, 2017, 05:02:10 AM
1 Dogecoin=$ 1 and it's real, soon we will have a huge rise. So buy a coin.

Yes, this year dogecoin will rise very high. We are already seeing the pump in the dogecoin at poloniex and other exchanges. Its a very good time to buy doge under 100 Sat. and keep it with you till end of this year.

i like dogecoin and litecoin. they are both cheap ways to move money between exchanges. but im wondering how doge will rise in value if there are 100B coins out there?

Thats the biggest problem DOGE is facing currency. So many coins flooded in the market. Whenever someone tries to pump the price, dumpers are ready to dump. I think people will realize soon that holding is the key if they wana to get good value of their saved Doge coins.

If usage of this coins grows significantly then even with so many coins still it can grow but if usage is not so significant then as you said some dumpers will take this pump opportunity to make a quick buck. I'm holding this coin for quite some time but never had a chance to make any profit but only now I got the opportunity but will hold for some more time and book some profit.
888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1989 Ransomware on: May 21, 2017, 04:48:35 AM
One of the things bitcoin is revolutionazing sure is ransomware. The ability for criminals to receive anonymous payments from afar is astoundingly useful to them.

That's the reason many governments are not regulating bitcoins to accept it do any regular business. Recent ransomware attack brought even more bad reputation to the bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. Many non-bitcoin users are now thinking that bitcoins are using only for these illegal transactions. So other good things about bitcoins no one wants to know it.
889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: May 21, 2017, 04:40:57 AM
Now you're getting it. Don't spend $1 to send $20. Spend $1 to send $100 or more.

This shows that bitcoins are no more attractive for doing any smaller transactions. This also gives a clear indication that another altcoin got a good potential for these smaller transactions.

its true some wallet auto set fees too high. should check carefully before send

Recently XAPO has introduced fees for outgoing transactions and they will decide the two kinds of fees and give you an estimated amount of fee. The minimum amount of fee itself is more than $1 to send any small amount. That's why I'm trying to use ETH for my smaller amount transactions.
890  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎂 Happy Birthday Primedice!! [4 Years] 🎂 on: May 20, 2017, 12:00:25 AM
A long history is made by primedice serving the users with trust through the bitcoin usage. Hope the success story continues for a longer time. Now the competence have increased as the dice and Casinos functioning on bitcoin have increased much in number.
So far so goo. PrimeDice is still number one Dice service provider out there - we can see statistics here: https://dicesites.com/
New Dice sites might be more advanced and offer interesting options (instant deposits based on confidence level, investing option, jackpots)
but PrimeDice is probably the most trusted Bitcoin gambling platform, and trust is the best asset you can have in this business.

Happy Birthday, PrimeDice.
Not just those feature has the other site. You can also played with altcoin on them and there are people suggesting it to pd but I guess it's no need to add such feature, btc to play with is enough.

Since now transaction fees went so high for bitcoins so some of the smaller players don't want to waste their money in fee so they may want to play with other altcoins which can reduce their transaction fee and save more coins for those players. I think primedice need to seriously consider adding at least another one alt-coin which is having a lesser fee and faster transactions.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: May 19, 2017, 11:53:46 PM
Any opinions on the news coming out of Japan about Ripple?  Perhaps NEM wasn't far enough along for Mitsubishi?

What is this big news about?

I just invested in this coin last week and already made a good profit out of it. But thinking adds some more for longer term perspective. Can I add a ripple to my portfolio or increase NEM more for now?

I still didn't enter into ripples so thinking to add some but the last couple of days it is coming down. Don't know whether I can wait or start adding in small quantities.
892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: May 19, 2017, 11:43:48 PM
I brought around 10 ETH when prices were around 40+ within a couple of months it gave me almost 200% profit. Is there any solid reason for this price movement or just following all other coins?

Another question, myetherwallet.com - the wallet is it safe to use for long-term to store coins or not?
893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: May 19, 2017, 02:08:07 AM
As far of what I observe now, bitcoin is better than gold. Nowadays, bitcoin is popular in any countries and in terms of its price is currently increasing now. Many users attracts bitcoin to use and its growing daily. Its better than gold  because some already earning in bitcoin.

Popularity wise gold is more popular than bitcoins in the whole world. But for fast investment returns bitcoins are good also you should remember that you may lose more money also fast. If bitcoin prices start going opposite side. So I feel both of these products are very good for investment and I will invest more in gold and a slightly lower amount in bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. The more you diversify your funds, in the longer run you will reduce your investment losses.
894  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Xapo starting to charge outgoing transaction fees on: May 19, 2017, 02:00:25 AM
Xapo has gradually tightened his terms of service for a few months ago when they set a minimum amount to carry out a transaction, which made this company inconvenient for micropayments. I am no longer convinced at this point if the service of Xapo is so good as to continue to keep my coins there.

Why do you think like that they are not good to keep or use their service?

Bitcoin transaction fees went up.  So all these companies now can't afford to lose every day for all these transactions. I'm also using them for more than two years and never had any issues and mostly used them for everyday transactions because of no fee and quick transactions. Also using their debit card to withdraw cash from ATM. They got slightly higher fees but so far so good and will continue using their service.
895  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: May 19, 2017, 01:53:47 AM
PayPal is definitely something that you should try to stay far from because the people that are in charge of PayPal don’t really care if you lose access to your account or just lose the money in some kind of odd situation. I like to use Bitcoin because I can only rely on the network to get the right transaction results.

I think you're wrong because if you don't do anything wrong then you will not lose money in Paypal and you should follow their terms. I'm using their service over 10 years and so far never had kind of issues with this service. They are best to buy things online from unknown persons because they provide a buyer protection. But if you use bitcoins then you need to go through escrow and need to fee double fee and also delay your transactions. Nowadays I find bitcoin is good for investment not for buying things from unknown persons online.
896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why NEM is now 4th on market capitalisation? on: May 19, 2017, 01:48:47 AM
Someone was posted in another thread about some good news on this coin. https://www.reddit.com/r/nem/comments/6bt0nt/massive_news_for_nem_and_mijin_in_japan/

Developers are talking to banks in Japan to integrate this coin features and developers trying hard to promote this coin with hard work, so prices are going up. I feel it is the right time to enter into this coin. After I purchase this coin, already almost 80+ profit gave me in less than one week time.
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: May 18, 2017, 08:58:08 AM
Today I did my first purchase on this NEM coin. Any suggestion which is the best way to store these coins for a longer term?

I'm going through this page to understand more- https://www.nem.io/faq.html

Can we store these coins on the light wallet for long term or need to download desktop wallet?

congratulations, you made the best choice in your life !

What you said is true. I just made my first purchase and price went up quite a lot already. It was a very decision I made to buy this coin and slowly adding more and more thinking that it will give a good profit in next one to years time.

Looks a lot of thinks happening with this coin development and we shouldn't sell for this small profit. I will hold it for at least for another one year time. Any guessing what will be a price in one year?
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 18, 2017, 08:52:02 AM
As of me being an investor, many altcoins have given me some good amount of returns, so for investing purposes, altcoins are a good thing as compared to bitcoins only for short term gains.
But in long term investing i prefer bitcoin more than altcoins.
Bitcoin's not going anywhere.  It's the gold standard.

I think there is room for "alts" if they can do something better than bitcoin can, or if they can do something that bitcoin can't.

The obvious thing is low transaction fees for smaller payments.  Bitcoin seems to be giving up that segment at the moment, though it's possible it could reclaim it in the future.  Now's the time that an "alt" could gain traction here.

The most exciting new thing, though, and something that bitcoin doesn't really do at all, is smart contracts.

I think Ethereum is the start of this, and those that build on it and expand the contract functionality have a lot of potential.

I agree. Altcoins represent their own unique qualities but they are still not closed to bitcoin. From their name they are just an alternative.

I agree , bitcoin will always be the pioneer of all coins , it has the most numerous number of participants and the most investment value, bitcoin is the father of all alternative coins, i think alt coins are depending on bitcoins , it cannot change bitcoin , bitcoin has a stronger market value. and been strongest among all alt coins.

Surely, bitcoin is here to stay, it was the progenitor. But it's not so regulatable. Thus is the draw of ETH and XRP, they are mutable enough to control on a state/corporate level. XRP can even be reversed; takes the whole blockchain experience away IMO.

Bitcoin will always be ahead in other Alt coins, Alt coins were followed of bitcoin, bitcoin will always be best in features and services . Especially in value and amount of fees bitcoin is in lead.

If bitcoins transaction speed don't improve and fee increases to the unrealistic range then bitcoin usage may reduce for most of the smaller amount transaction and so it will give a chance for another good altcoin to become its competitor for smaller amount transactions.

We can't take it guaranty that always bitcoin will be a leader in cryptocurrencies because some new coins provide better features then people may switch to it for sure. But for now yes, bitcoin is leading.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I had luck in which Alt I should invest now on: May 18, 2017, 07:14:07 AM
This is nice 50 tbc, you may invest on top altcoins. Xem, ETH, DOGE, LTC and Ripple. These coins got a lot of attention from investors. Which many invested in this top altcoins. I know for sure these altcoins is profitable in the long run.

But I understood that DOGE devs are not doing much development on this coin. Is that true?

I have invested on BTC, ETH, DOGE, NEM, Waves and IOTA. So far all my altcoins are doing good except IOTA because only last week I invested on this coin and it needs more time to show the good results. Maybe after the cool down then I will add some ripple to my account as well.
900  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂ 9 BILLIONS bets Promotion🎁 50% affiliation promotion 🎁 on: May 18, 2017, 06:53:41 AM
I started with 200k satoshi and after 5 hours, I made 0.012 with automated betting. My settings are working out until power interruption in my home comes in. When the power's back on after 10 minutes, I checked my Bitsler account and lost everything. I could have withdrawn the profit in the first place. Sad

I don't know how the automated betting works with Bitsler but maybe it is server side instead of client side. So if you click on autobet and your connection suddently drops the server still keeps on betting because he thinks you are still online. I most likely pings every few seconds or so but that might of been too late or it doesn't stop the betting at all until you click "stop".

If you think you were cheated just verify your provably fair hashed seeds and make sure they match up, most likely you just ran into bad luck and lost.

Just now I tried in my account. It will stop as soon as your browser closes. Because just now I started my auto betting with a smaller amount and closed it manually and immediately opened and see that my betting was stopped. But not sure how he has lost his money when his power gone and bower was closed?

There's a time when our browser becomes unresponsive or our connection becomes very slow. Hence, our browser will fail to show the actual result from our automated betting. I guess that's what happened to @cheezcarls. He stated that he already run his automated betting for about 5 hours before the power in his house went down. Anything can happen during that time period. If he provide us the screenshot of his bet history then we will know the truth.
Well only Baryom can determined and say what is the true story that happened. Just ask some quiestion can you check you withdrawal log? Is seems that there's some people have an access in your account and withdraw all you money in bitsler. In my phone after i power off it auto bet succesfully would stop.

I'm quite sure that once you close your browser your auto betting will stop in both mobile phone as well as in desktop version. That particular incident only admin can verify his bets and can suggest how he/she lost all his money. If someone hacked his account then no need to just withdraw money but they can have played some games and lost money. So only admin the right person to answer this particular issue.
