Napoli had to share their points with their opponent at the end of the day and it was really a poor results even if I know in recent times Napoli hasn't been in the best of their performance but I still don't see it as a reason they would fail like this, they still have a chance and this was one of it that they should have utilized to get some steps further.
Juventus obviously has fallen off the race to the league title this season because after suffering three losses I would think that they would want to recover but they sadly still drew against Verona who has been a very good team rather a team with perform that wouldn't be reckoned with, it's really not a thing to be happy about because I had earlier seen Juventus as my favourite for both this game and sometimes ago for the title of the league too aswell.
I be wondering how they'll be against Barcelona, Barcelona have been trying to improve from their bad way since this season kicked off. Good they could see to the end of the game and got three points. Napoli has some good chance to score goals but they couldn't turn it around. Khivicha Kvaratskhelia and Anguissa had two to three times to score individually but they bottled up. Finally the deflected shot went straight into goal to help them get three points. Dusan Vlahovic now has also increased his goal tally to 13 goals as he was able not score the first half equalizer for Juventus today. Celta Vigo vs Barcelona Yesterday match Barcelona team won the match by scoring 2 goals. The game was very crowded between the two teams in the first half. Barcelona team player R. Lewandowski scored the 1st goal in 45 minutes and Celta Vigo team player I. Aspas scored in 47 minutes. The match was drawn. After that, the two teams played very well for some time. Suddenly, one goal met again. At the end of the game, R. Lewandowski scored the 2nd goal in 90+7 minutes to win the match. Obviously it's luck for Barcelona and Lewandowski scored 2 goals at the same time answering the questions of the fans because Lewandowski had not scored for a long time, this season Lewandowski's performance is unstable and can be said to be bad. His goal record is down compared to last season, but I think that's normal because of his age and the impact of the previous injury. Lewandowski still has the opportunity to improve his goal record this season and compete to be the top scorer, but I admit it is difficult because Bellingham already has 20 goals so far. Lewandowski has to work harder to prove himself as a productive striker, but sometimes he has to fail because of the lack of goal opportunities he has. Everyone should help him instead of improving his own record, he can be the difference for the sake of the team rather than for himself. After all of them criticisms, Robert Lewandoski has leveled up with his scoring and performance and it's the same way with Yamal this season. After everything we've said they both now has a good combination and understanding amongst/ between themselves. Two goals tonight, first goal was wonderful and amazing, great technical ability to support that ball anx send that shot straight into the back of the net. A simple and pragmatic win for Leverkussen makes them 8 points ahead Bayern Munchen,of course with a game more but it shows that this year it won't be easy at all for Munchen to recover and win the title like they usually have done when they were fighting against Dortmund and Leipzig which are well known for screwing up and being very consistent teams.
I think now since Munchen knows this,some surprise results may also happen to them because they will bearing a huge psychological pressure as they see Leverkussen quite ahead now so I would refrain from betting and choosing them in my tickets.

But it seems he is getting far from this team. De Zerbi is still under contract with Brighton until 2026 and this coach won't be cheap for Barcelona It seems Barcelona should pay 15 million euros for De Zerbi which can make him from this team.  This news is far from valid and they should be seen as rumours, Xavi Hernandez might be having a tough and rough season but he don't mean he'll be sent of too quickly. Surprisingly, Chelsea was able to take the lead against Manchester City until the 77th minute. Raheem Sterling's goal in the 42nd minute still stood with 15 minutes remaining in the game. This was a result that was beyond predictions. Chelsea were able to take the lead while Manchester City, who were the favorites, were able to win easily.
Even though they were able to control the game and excel in possession of the ball, Manchester City still had difficulty scoring goals with 10 minutes remaining in the match, it would be very interesting if the score remained and Chelsea was able to beat Man City, the primary league battle would become even more interesting.

Draw when playing away was more than enough for roma to make sure it can qualify for the next stage. Feyenoord will be on the disadvantage caused the club must have faced the weak team. This is going to hurt it coz the club must have been performing better compared to the roma.

Yeah you're right, Roma did a good job by stealing a point away from their home ground, Feyenoord really wanted getting the whole 3 points, they dominated the game and created more chances, they even scored an opener at the extra minutes of the 1st half to show how serious they were. I was not able watch the champions league meeting between Bayern Munich and Lazio. But I was somewhat disappointed by the result. Seeing Bayern Munich loss was not comfortable with me. I have thought that they are going to win Lazio in their own home but the reverse became the case. Many of us are saying that Bayern will win in Germany even with larger goal margin. But what I can say is that nobody can predict football excellently. There could be a problem with Bayern and they will end up to play a draw with Lazio and if that happens, we will understand that they are ending the season trophyless because Alonso and his guys are not giving Bayern a chance to settle.
All Bayern Munich fans are disappointed with the first leg match result after defeating by Lazio, but still has second leg match and I think Bayern Munich ability make come back and winning over two goals. Still not ending with Bayern Munich opportunity in Champion League, second leg match left 90 minutes more and Thomas Tuchel won't sack from his position by eliminating in Champion League. That's absolutely true because of the outstanding match left for Manchester city to play. I doubt Chelsea FC would even be able to hold them tonight to a draw because with De Bruyne back and the midfield in complete lock, the Chelsea attackers would have to rely on mostly set pieces and quick counter if they are to secure any goal.

I agree with you. In the last few seasons Dortmund has been able to compete with Munich and several times they have put pressure on Munich. But the problem was that they appeared inconsistent as the season drew to a close and lost several points before Munich finally became champions again. Leverkusen was able to beat Munich and that proved that they deserved to be champions. But the problem is that they have to be consistent for the next few matches because Munich is still very ambitious to catch up on points. Winning 5 points makes Leverkusen's position in first place still unsafe in my opinion.
The five-point advantage that Bayer Leverkusen currently has over Bayern Munich is not something that is safe for Bayer Leverkusen because Bayern Munich can still catch up, so Leverkusen still has to be able to win more of the remaining matches so that the point gap doesn't get smaller. And currently Leverkusen has also returned to a one goal lead in the ongoing match at home to Heidenheim which will continue to put pressure on Bayern Munich who still really want to catch Leverkusen at the top of the standings. I doubt the possibility of Xabi Alonso joining Bayern Munich from Bayer Leverkusen especially now that they're at their peak in recent years — why would he want to leave now that the team he has built is close to maturity and fruit reaping. My opinion is that, even if Alonso wants to join another team, it's definitely not Bayern Munich but Liverpool. Alonso has spoken a number of times already that he currently has no interest to join any other clubs including Liverpool. I'd love to see him swinging that way but believe me, I think he'll consider it betrayal managing Bayern Munich but ain't this the same club he played for? Scoring his very first goal with that beautiful freekick? If he doesn't keav at the end of the season, it'll definitely become harder for him. But between Liverpool and Bayern Munich without bias, he'll do a good job everywhere but it would be best if he moves to Bayern Munich. The home team are doing very well but making use of the little opportunity is the problem with Liverpool doing everything they can to get more goals just to be comfortable is what Klopp is urging the visitors to do. Second goal and they (Liverpool) are still pressing to get more and I find out that the confident of Liverpool is growing in every touches they make.
Brentford need something special to get a goal and ones that happens Liverpool will reduce their pressure, I still see this game ending in a draw despite the score line being 0-2 in favor of Liverpool.
As I said before, trailing 0-1 in the first half will make Brentford take the initiative to play attacking football, so they will have more opportunities to score a goal back. But in return, it will make their defense more open and make it possible for Liverpool to have many gaps to launch counterattacks. A consequence that Brentford must take because that is the only way for them to get points. Even if they fail to get points, at least they have tried their best. Also some reports suggests that he's gonna become Bayern Munich boss next summer but if there's any possibility of Xabi Alonso leaving Leverkusen this summer, I think his possible destination will be Liverpool He deserves it, he's earned it and I would be most grateful to see that for him. So far, I'm proud of the coach he's become and becoming. He's worked too hard to fail this season, the first six months with the club Bayern Leverkusen was enough lessons for him to get to wherever he wants to be. Anybody writing off Arsenal in this season's premier league is making a big mistake, Arsenal in recent times have improved their game play to a significant height, even to the height of beating Liverpool who currently sits at the top of the league.
Arsenal is my favorite club, but I must never stop saying the truth, Arsenal is one of the most inconsistent club in the premier league currently, this is just one of their weaknesses, and this I believe is what cost them the title last season, and here we are again this season, if they can indeed learn from their past mistakes and remain consistent in winning games, then it's highly possible that they might beat both Liverpool and Manchester city to winning the title this season, and this would be something I personally would celebrate.
Are ye judging them with the six goals to nothing win against West Ham United? Don't forget same Hammer's dealt with them during the first half of the season and we all said it was over for the gunners to win the Premier League Competition no? Personally, I have never doubted them, I just hoped they'd taken good use of the chances they have. Arsenal up to date has no striker which is a major issue and drawback to what they can achieve. Leverkusen is more than what we predicted this season, who would have thought they would be this strong this season even they are the only team that has not been defeated until now, Leverkusen is really a nightmare for Bayern Munich.
With their good performances and also showing good consistency, I see they will really succeed this season. But indeed we cannot quickly conclude or say they will become champions, because the journey is still quite long. It depends on themselves, whether they will be able to maintain their slick appearance or vice versa.
We did see a little bit of Xabi Alonso last season but we didn't expect him to have this exact massive development and rise in form so far in the top five European Competitions, he's the only unbeaten manager and his side Bayern Leverkusen the only unbeaten in all of top five European Club Competitions. He did do well last season and Jose Mourinho said he'll go a long way when he knocked him out of the competition ( European Europa League Competition ) last season. They just two more games to until they break the records set down by Bayern Munich. If it goes as planned, they'd be winners of this years Bundesliga League Competition. They have no much issues and regrets, few of them players are gradually returning fully. |

AC Milan has a great opportunity to progress further in the Europa League this season, AC Milan priority scale has now changed and will focus more on the Europa League, because in Serie A it is no longer possible to overtake Inter Milan. Stefano Pioli has good squad depth, Which can increase their chances of winning trophies, and AC Milan has good experience when competing in European competitions. AC Milan managed to finish the first leg match easily against Rennes, In the second Leg it is possible that AC Milan will also win. Liverpool and Leverkusen are the favorite Teams, and i think AC Milan also deserves to be included in the list.
AC Milan will definitely pass this knockout round and will then fight with teams from the European league in the next round. AC Milan failed in the UCL, but that means they are a bad team. And indeed, if you look at the last few matches, especially in the Europe League yesterday, it seems like the confidence and solidity of the players has started to return and increase again. Man City during this season has lost 3x, while Chelsea 10x. But, If what is meant is Head-to-head Man City vs Chelsea, it looks like Man City has not been beaten by Chelsea in at least the last 5 matches. But once a draw and another is a victory for Man City. And in the next match, Man City looks like they will win again, although maybe it won't be that easy, but I believe that Man City will be superior.
As a Liverpool fan obviously I want Chelsea to win but let’s be honest here, Man City will destroy them. It’s what they do at this time of the season. I am starting to give up hope that Liverpool can win it this season. We have too many injuries mounting and Man City have Haaland and De Bruyne back fit. It's not completely over until it's over. Anything can happen in the long run. Both Manchester City and Liverpool may also lose the league to Arsenal. You just too expectant I guess, you'll have to enjoy the flow as it goes, that way you'll never be disappointed with what's to come and not come. I do not want Manchester City to win the Premier League Competition this season though. But who am I to say that? Lol The Gunners I gave my support are not doing well, fingers crossed anything could still come up. Stay positive. |
