882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Angry at the high fees? That's what everyone predicted the future will be like! on: November 10, 2023, 02:19:16 AM
Bitcoin ordinal should have system like Zksync roll up or something like that so basically like other EVM layer 2 they should contain all the transaction in one block so the ordinal should have verificator but I dont know if this gonna possible on Bitcoin Network and I dont know if NFT still popular nowadays.

Yes high fee is a shit  Grin I really dont like it and LN maybe the solution for now since big exchange like binance also start accepting it
883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is anyone saw mempool right now? Mempool spam on: November 10, 2023, 02:14:47 AM

I would recommend a tornado cash but  After the OFAC sanctions most RPC endpoints have censored deposits, make sure your wallet is manually configured to a working endpoint.

Yes you need to change the RPC endpoint on chainlist.org or you can use bridge app like https://wormhole.com/ by bridge your token your intially mixing your usdt.

and I dont think this is the right board for bitcoin discussion

887  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Kraken to turn over select customer data to IRS after July court loss on: November 10, 2023, 01:17:22 AM
that would be a gross violation of people's privacy and I would condemn any company that would hand over peoples' information that didn't even have anything to do with the USA. What business does the IRS have to know what a citizen of some other country is using kraken for? So I'm highly doubtful that they are going to hand that type of info over. probably just on American citizens. On the other hand since Kraken is somehow classified as an american based company maybe the IRS thinks they have the right to examine all of their customers but lets hope not...

And they're gonna be doing it this month!  Shocked

Kraken additionally noted that it plans to share the information covered by the court’s order next month, in early November 2023.

Yes it is that would be gross violation,
Anway US need more tax payer money to fill up gun for ukraine and the israel government so no wonder they are gonna look for customer who had lot of money especially for crypto
888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Question about Bitcoin network spammer on: November 10, 2023, 12:52:56 AM
From the last three days I have a transaction which is stuck, it is painful.

It is very painful  Cry Cry Cry

So it is because of the ordinal transaction, I know the ordinal creates a lot of noise but a couple of weeks ago bitcoin back to the normal fee for even 2 sat/Vb, and today when bitcoin reach 37K the transaction is growing crazy, Maybe this transaction was accompanied by people who wanted to take profit and send their money to the exchange well make sense  Undecided

and what the heck is this, NFT??

And I can tell you that miners are loving it.

And at the op miners get paid to guard your wealth. Right now miners are barely hanging in there above water.

This is why people push ordinals to

a) create miner relief
b) make pressure on btc to scale its fees better.
c) give miners  and coin holders the option to say fuck you to btc and switch to scrypt.

It is the fee is almost a half of the bitcoin reward there are also people who pay 1,101 sat/vB This man has balls  Cheesy

and found an article on Quora that basically said like this - https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-purpose-of-spamming-Bitcoin-mempool-with-lots-of-transactions-with-a-low-fee-which-would-barely-ever-be-confirmed

2. Strategic Fee Manipulation: In some cases, individuals or entities may spam the mempool with low-fee transactions to manipulate the fee market. By congesting the network, they can artificially drive up transaction fees, creating an advantage for their own transactions or attempting to disrupt the activities of other participants.

The difference is they use a high fee to do the transaction.

Anyway is this possible that Ordinal using system like layer 2 on ETHereum using Rollup transaction ?
889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Question about Bitcoin network spammer on: November 09, 2023, 01:54:57 AM
Hi guys I dont know how to give a proper title but here is the story

Initially, I wanted to send some of my bitcoins from my wallet to the exchange for my needs.

when I looked at the fees on mempool.space I saw a lot of unconfirmed transactions and crazy fee prices.

I saw a strange transaction, he only sent around $0.2 and used a lot of fees, at that moment I immediately knew that it was a transaction intended to spam the network

and moments like this usually occur when there is a spike in the price of bitcoin

my question is
1. Who is carrying out this transaction? There is a bit of a conspiracy, in my opinion, it is the pools who want to get a lot of fees, especially since this happens when there is a spike in the price of Bitcoin.
2. Do you think this transaction will stop? I want to send $50 and require a fee of $15 Cry whattttt

Here is the image and address that I found

Wait wait wait did IRS want all customer data even tho the customer is not from US? or I am missing something here?

If the IRS want all the data it mean all over the world customer are also in it and the IRS can know who has transacted more than 20K in the past year. What the heck is going on?
891  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Mining In Iran on: November 09, 2023, 01:28:38 AM
Crypto mining and its challenges

Although Iran has momentarily refrained from legally or officially adopting cryptocurrency and issuing a digital coin like El Salvador and the CAR, it has increasingly supported the industry, albeit in a controlled manner, as a potential revenue source and sanctions-busting apparatus. In August 2019, Iran issued a regulation that recognized crypto mining as a legal economic sector and became the first country to use cryptocurrency as reserves to pay for imports and exports. Based on estimates from the blockchain analytics firm Elliptic, mining in Iran has allowed it to access hundreds of millions of dollars per year to buy imports of authorized goods and bypass sanctions on payments through Iranian financial institutions. Beyond Iran’s government, its citizens have utilized cryptocurrency with greater frequency to earn money and move it out of the country. - https://www.mei.edu/publications/iran-and-cryptocurrency-opportunities-and-obstacles-regime

I also found old article that mining in iran is okay as long the government get the slices
892  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: The SEC Struggles to Recruit Crypto Experts, Report Says on: November 09, 2023, 01:14:30 AM
Hahaha after losing a lot from company like Ripple and Binance in court they currently hiring the experts, Hope they found one  Grin. But I dont know there will be experts who want to join the SEC, like poker player said it will be less attractive  Grin Grin

I imagine that it is not only this, but also that pay in the public sector is usually lower than in the private sector. Getting paid less, having to sell your digital assets and betraying your industry peers on top of that doesn't seem like a very attractive scenario to accept without thinking much about it.
893  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Events that lead to the adoption of a spot Bitcoin ETF on: November 09, 2023, 01:10:50 AM
All the large speculators who bought their bitcoins and are waiting for the approval of the spot ETF are already rubbing their hands with the expected profit. The most ideal time for this is the period before the halving and if a manipulator is present in this market, then the SEC will approve spot ETFs.
In other countries, these funds exist and honestly are not in great demand.

Well you're kinda true since I see a great big green candle all over the place and Bitcoin is still sideaway in 35K whale maybe already bought at 28-30K level and waiting for the news

and when the time comes this is gonna happen  Grin

Vanguard CEO Tim Buckley said that the asset-management firm will not join the spot bitcoin ETF just like other firms like BlackRock and Fidelity. I see it as the personal decision of the company and that's their business. For now, we are focusing on the outcome of the application of other asset managers that are interested in bitcoin.

Yeah I read the news here - https://finance.yahoo.com/news/vanguard-ceo-says-asset-management-042217244.html

tho there is also a recent news from twitter account Db - https://twitter.com/tier10k/status/1722329852777275443 TLDR, I think

An ETF cannot be approved whilst it is in the comment period

If the SEC wants to be 'fair' and approve all spot applications at the same time then it would have to do so when there are no outstanding filings in a comment period

Which is between 9th-17th Nov, after the current comment periods end and before new ones begin - or early Jan 2024
894  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin on BNB (Binance Smart) Chain on: November 08, 2023, 12:01:39 PM
This is why we shouldn't be dealing with anything called Bitcoin that isn't on the Bitcoin blockchain, scammers can name any token Bitcoin and use them in defraud their victim as they have done to this user. This should serve as a warning, don't even accept to deal them as they can stopped been pegged to Bitcoin at any moment but the real Bitcoin will always be Bitcoin. If you're transacting with those pegged/tokenized Bitcoin just know you're not operating with the real Bitcoin but an altcoin so you'll be expectant of anything that happens.

Yes, nowadays there are a lot of wrapped versions of Bitcoin in any chain that are EVM compatible. Sometimes other Defi App creating their own version of wrapped version of bitcoin for staking and farming.

But like you said it is carrying high risk, If you guys remembered the tera luna collapse I think this could happen when they creating of wrapped version of bitcoin
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ? on: November 08, 2023, 11:53:02 AM
Yes, you have chosen the right choice just like me, because of course we also don't want to lose people we love, for example a future wife or already a wife, I think there are still many ways to gamble with fake money where we can play with a demo account at several casinos. or applications, sometimes I still play poker on my cellphone using the application in the Play Store and it's still fun even though I don't use real money.

But luckily I have a wife who doesn't forbid me from gambling and she only limits my budget to gambling, but not a lot every weekend, so there's no problem as long as she manages it because she's good at managing my finances and can be a financial advisor apart from being a wife. . The point is, whatever it is, be honest with your future wife or wife so that there are no lies in the relationship we are in and end up losing our wife, as much as possible, take care of her feelings.  Grin

Well you have a good wife then, but gambling with a budget is necessary  Cool. We dont want to lose all of our hard work money for nothing right.

I actually installed the playstore version but currently, they banned  Grin From Play Store I made a jackpot last time but made a small deposit around 1$ I think playstore gonna banned this game for a long period of time
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: November 08, 2023, 11:40:49 AM
Most likely you are referring to Floating Dragon as the slot and that is a super high volatility slot which is a people favorite as when it gives you it gives in plenty amounts so that is a good one  Grin. The other slots like Zeus vs Hades,Gates of Olympus and the likes are sucked up by the streamers who play these slots and we suffer such consequences that they do not pay that well anymore to people playing with normal amounts of money.

Don't be surprised though,in the long run everyone keeps losing in slot machines,it is the law of the slot providers  Grin.

Well you're kinda true I mean the slot provider or the company that provides gambling want to profit right  Grin Grin So no matter how high the RTP I think there is no company wants loss of profit all they want is just more profit hahah.

Today some gambling companies using on-chain data from the blockchain to prove the system is provable fair. Chainlink also has a randomizer to give people confidence but I dont really know how the on-chain system works.

897  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance is Rolling Out Copy Trading? on: November 08, 2023, 11:30:22 AM
In this case, you are not choosing the reliable trader to follow but you are choosing the ghost one.
Well, I hope you've thought and realized already that copy trading is not really the best option to choose when trading. Though it can help us beginners gain ideas, however, it was also needed for us not to just rely on them but to do research as well. This is the option I used before but yes, if we want to improve, we must also encourage ourselves to carry the risk alone. We can explore the market and use a strategy that we think is effective. There are a lot but we need to choose 1 or 2 to avoid confusion.

Well, it could be like that, but when I copy the trader always has their reputation I remember the last one I did copy trade the master trader had a reputation for more than 90 days but now is gone.

the best choice right now is do trade by yourself or copy with realiable trade with low leverage and track record more than 100 days
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: November 08, 2023, 11:18:36 AM
So when AI (or a human player) is "good" in Poker, it means it makes more money than it loses. So not only would the AI be able to chose a proper strategy, i.e. knowing when to call/fold/or raise, but it could be much better at analysing human players' style (especially when historical games' data is available) then people.

Well said.

I suppose that the limitation would be reading the other player based on their actions. On one hand, it could additionally consider the probability of other players hands and play accordingly. On the other hand, it might not take this into account.

Sure, AI can determine the probability of its own hand and (maybe) bet accordingly...though I am sure this would require quite a lot of training. i doubt you could just plug and play with chat gpt.

Bet sizing, hand probability, opponent bet sizing/hand probability, etc. Are all things to consider.

How the AI acts would also be somewhat static, maybe even predictable as it follows the same parameters for each hand.

The more it's thought about, the more complex success in using ai for poker would actually be. Definitely easier said than done!

Well that can be done when a player is on-site example like in vegas so the AI can detect faces of humans and etc. but when the player is online it is still need more input than raise and fold in my opinion because when you play poker online your enemy is anon secondly dealer can cheat on you and there is also bluff from other enemy right.

So it is yes need a lot of training but i still doubt that the AI is gonna win all the time. Just like trading Market trend is hard to predict when there is something like news etc.

the AI maybe can predict game like Slot in my opinion

Etf news is all over the place yet there is no single bitcoin spot etf is approved by the sec.

In my opinion the adoption of bitcoin in the etf wrap is good to push even more adopter and people who curious about the crypto but it seems the sec won't approve it until the final deadline 😭

And other news is that the vanguard dont want join the bitcoin etf if the vanguard join i think there will be something in sec
