921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC holders, do not reveal your identity online on: June 12, 2023, 07:10:37 AM
I also remind you to be careful with the services you trust to save your identity, if you don't disclose yourself, some services have the potential to do it out of stupidity. Maybe both have different levels of risk, but basically all the criminal that is done will only target your crypto wealth.
922  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto experienced bloodshed on: June 12, 2023, 06:51:37 AM
I do not further measure the actual market interest in the fundamental side of the coins that are disputed here. As for the SEC lawsuit meaning it has depreciated most of the market capital flows which it ascertained from US users, I dunno if they have the opportunity to trade that elsewhere in the future. I only predict the domino effect that will occur from this event, that the global SEC will do the same.
923  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gambling is different from trading on: June 12, 2023, 05:38:46 AM
I was doing a comparison between gambling and trading I find out that their is merging between trading and gambling, I want to explain the categories of trading and gambling from my research gambling don't have to do with skills, but people prefer gambling than trading, but I kicked against gambling because it does not have control that leads to victory during time of diecasting your prediction in gambling therefore I concluded that gambling have to do with luck.

In certain types of games such as PvP can rely on skill. And futures trading (which is relatively short) is basically luck and it can take all your capital like gambling. In both trading and gambling, all your orders and bets are predictive.
There is indeed a fundamental difference between the two if you look at it from a different perspective.
924  Other / Meta / Re: Did Laszlo Hanyecz exchange 40000 BTC for 8 pizzas, not 10000 BTC for 2 pizzas? on: June 12, 2023, 04:32:51 AM
I did searched and checked transaction history, because I found some big transactions that I did not know what were exchanged with those bitcoins, I created this topic.
I don't think tracking the next purchase matters that much to anyone (in the context of future reference needs), the event was just 10k bitcoins for 2 pizzas and that was the only moment the community captured into a celebration.
If you think this is worth knowing and to avoid speculation, afaik Laszlo is still alive and you could do another interview specifically with him about how much bitcoin he spent in his lifetime for pizzas.
925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend interested in investing in BTC but the friend's father does not agree on: June 12, 2023, 04:03:07 AM
An important thing to tell you is that in the country we live in, all types of cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin are officially banned and anyone involved in illegal transactions is subject to severe penalties.
Up to this point, you must understand the risks. You are involved in this space actually violate, and if you teach your friends then it means you make the network of violators wider.

Should I ask my friend to invest in Bitcoin? Or ask to pay more attention to his job?
Aren't you already halfway through guiding your friend? Your decision depends on two considerations, you care about the solidarity of your friendship, so continue this guidance. Or you care about the law then stop here.

927  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What's next? on: June 11, 2023, 12:37:10 AM
One has to stop thinking about "what's next". Traders won't be completely deprived of their trading facilities.
Trading platforms are the best business in this space and all companies will always compete with each other to be the top choice even if they have to go against the wishes of their users in order to comply with regulations. In the end, users will readjust to the new regulatory provisions.
928  Other / Meta / Re: Why is this system not set up for the Bitcointalk forum? on: June 11, 2023, 12:25:40 AM
- Why is email confirmation not requested during account registration? I have checked that it is possible to open a forum account with an email address that does not exist or has not yet been created.
Due to ipevil restrictions, signing up with an exclusive email might be a wasteful decision the first time, unless you're willing to buy a copper membership. It's better to get the desired username first with a random email before syncing with the real email.

After all, forums have a method of security and account recovery that is known to be compromised very rarely: Signed bitcoin addresses.
All reputable account owners with high commercial value do this and almost never complain about the forum's security system.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The role of Bitcoin in eliminating unemployment in our country on: June 10, 2023, 11:55:36 PM
In a more specific definition I can't generalize all crypto activity is "job", even bitcoin can grow in value on its own. Jobs are those in which people must be bound for a certain amount of time to complete official duties, not optional tasks.
A little story a few years ago in my fellow connection, someone left their main job to be unemployed to have more free time to explore crypto opportunities which at that time sounded more promising in terms of income. Maybe this is also happening a lot out there which concludes that crypto has the opportunity to make someone leave the main job.
930  Economy / Services / Re: Launch of crypto-token, search for an investor partner on: June 09, 2023, 03:12:55 PM
Payback x3-x5 of the investment.

First Im not a potential investor, but if you're willing, can you elaborate more on this part? It seems interesting to know. To my knowledge, this is no longer the way to convince people no matter how good the project is. Market interest is unpredictable these days.
Unless you can vouch that return, then send loan proposals to local banks around you instead.
931  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Protecting User Identities: The Importance of Digital Identity in Cryptocurrency on: June 09, 2023, 02:58:13 PM
Where is the solution in your writing?

Firstly, digital identity solutions provide an added layer of security by ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to their accounts and funds.
Everyone who has access to the KYC database is an authority, what we fear is data leakage by "bad" authorities, which in some cases the service team trades on the black market.

Quote
Furthermore, digital identity solutions enable exchanges to comply with regulatory requirements and anti-money laundering (AML) policies.
That in no way prevents losses, several cases of recent exchange money laundering investigations impacted KYC users as well where their assets were frozen.

Quote
Additionally, digital identity solutions enhance the overall user experience by streamlining the registration and onboarding process.
It depends on the internal policy of the service, to solve certain problems the customer has to do a more complicated re-verification.
932  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ai-tech.io is scamer (new changed to aitech.io) on: June 09, 2023, 11:48:56 AM
This project had a previous announcement thread[1] by member @emmaglory5[2] here which was later deleted.
Then launched 2 rounds of the bounty program[3][4] managed by the worst management team of all time (sofico), if you look at the ERC20 addresses of some of the first round participants, they haven't even received bounty distribution.

The only action that can be taken here is that if the scammer has a Bitcointalk account
Nothing wrong, I remember several projects creating an account after being reported as scams here just to respond to all the accusations.

933  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] NonKyc.io - Embrace Privacy and Security in Cryptocurrency Trading on: June 09, 2023, 05:38:58 AM
Now state which legal basis you take refuge in?
In the following points your service is somewhat regulated[1], but it's impossible for you to implement it effectively without asking for actual user information.
Quote
This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the Site at Nonkyc.io.
Quote
you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age
Quote
You agree not to use the Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

Is there another way to identify age, legality of sources of user funds and other things without ask KYC?

934  Other / Meta / Re: How do you like the idea? on: June 09, 2023, 05:21:41 AM
OgNasty did it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5275043
And also on my local board, hosted by joniboini https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3315373.0

Actually, it wasn't just encouraging users to make good posts, but a request to learn the basic knowledge that aspiring bitcoiners should have. Overall, it's good.
935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did I can make platform without KYC verification on: June 08, 2023, 02:07:08 PM
This is a very huge GRAMMATICAL ERROR, please try to fix it so people can understand what you are trying to say. Because while i was trying to read i just can't stop laughing  Grin Grin. But to my understanding i know what you are saying tho.

I'm trying to understand the OP's intent well.
In order to use the exchange, users need to register a crypto address as well as a bank account where their deposits will come from or withdrawals will go to. These two things will be continuously intertwined.

A solution without kyc verification in this situation I think can only be implemented if exchanges and banks cooperate with each other to share user identities.
936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is There A Bitcoin Exchange That Pays Most of Fees for You? on: June 08, 2023, 01:53:47 PM
Why would they do that? That's ridiculous if the exchange itself will shoulder some of the fees.
And a zero fee offer would be suspicious in the first place (sounds like a scam), it's against the mainstream of crypto exchanges where high withdrawal fees are a business they won't ignore.
937  Economy / Economics / Re: To Hodl or Lend: What is your take? on: June 08, 2023, 01:37:57 PM
The risk is dealing with people you can't trust, and that can be difficult to identify. Even for someone who has been involved in the bitcoin lending business on this forum for years, they occasionally lose money due to default even though they are given some time leeway.
The rule that guarantees almost no risk is actually clear, "no collateral, no loans". I don't know why this rule is slowly being abandoned and choosing to be without collateral for certain members.
938  Other / Meta / Re: Change the logo board and subboard on: June 08, 2023, 01:22:21 PM
The triangle like Icons are actually the New Posts and No New Posts icons. These are displayed to registered members to signify whether there have been any new posts made on the board since they last read it.
Blue triangle means there are new posts.
Greyed out triangle means there are no new posts

Damn, so all along it was a shortcut link. I honestly didn't pay much attention to that sign since I registered (I think a lot of other users did too) because yeah the display isn't that flashy. While I stand by the OP's request, I don't mind it being considered longer. I think it's better to make the board inside the sub-board more visible.
939  Economy / Exchanges / Re: No impact of SEC freezing USA Binance assets on: June 08, 2023, 12:57:00 PM
It shows the trust people have on bitcoin.
Well, many people still relate that the exchange problem is a bitcoin problem which seems as if they are inseparable. Even though the main problem for investors started when they chose the exchange as their trust, then there was no bitcoin trust at stake.
940  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Maverickgames takes money away. on: June 07, 2023, 01:54:42 PM
For legal reasons, we're unable to publicly disclose further information about specific cases.

Can you explain in outline if it is a violation of general provisions, for example the OP is from a restricted country or whatever?
On the player's side, this reason is as if you're taking the easiest action to refuse to pay the winnings. Implicitly you want to let every next big win end with a delay in the verification process.
