For this I am waiting so long, they have prolonged this update so many times and still Ethereum 2.0 update doesnt have a specific date when it comes. Only Ethereum's Constantinople is coming on January, but this is not exact 2.0, it only helps Ethereum to be closer to that update.

What I see about NEO is that developers have seen that what was promise do not met the reality of things on ground, I have seen developers complain about the usability of the platform and their slow response to change things, unlike Ethereum platform. For me the smart contract space is still there for taking and the project that first get things right will take the space because for now so many promise and little has been delivered so far

I think countries like Venezuela are the perfect target for cryptocurrencies gaining acceptance. The citizens of these countries have first hand experience of how a FIAT currency can fail them and by now probably realize that their wealth is better protected in cryptocurrencies. I suspect that the merchants in these countries then convert any crypto they receive in to a more stable fiat such as USD.
I doubt they would convert it to USD given their relationship with the US but this is a good news and as I was reading few days that in some US states you can pay your taxes in bitcoin which is a good sign and I hope that other countries follow their suit and begin accepting crypto in their retail as well as online stores. They will convert it into the local currency since their operations are in canada and dollar would not become the main choose to convert their crypto instantly. There is a huge problem. Seeing the icon and founder leaving his creation, some people think that there is something wrong with his creation that he cannot fix. Anyway, that was just an assumption. If ever Vitalik left ETH, lets just hope it won't have a huge impact on the project and the token revolves around it. I also wish that not any bad impact occur on ethereum after that act but in this community the holders are very weak and they may feel insecure and do not know about the decentralization of their platform. I use both - MEW and MetaMask, for tokens this seems to be good enough
if you want to have more ETH in your wallet, this could be ok, if you do not plan to use it and store your key and password offline, in other cases i would not recommend
I'm still facing some problems with metamask and this wallet need to get another improvements. MEW and Metamask don't seem to be a very good choice consider both are lack of security. Just try to get another alternative wallet which has been putting the focus into the security. |
