DGC frontend is being worked on at the moment.  Stratum is fine so mining is not affected.  Will update once frontend is up.

-tb-

frontend is up and working as we speak. if the site slows down dont worry about it, we are just doing various speed optimizations on the server to bring you the best pool possible.

Side note. username based logins are no longer functional on DGC as of now and the other pools in a few hours. due to many attempts at bruteforcing and a user of this forum publishing a site with these bruteforced details we have had to resort to only allowing logins using an email address

Reusing passwords on multiple sites in 2014  Roll Eyes

That's all this is, a db dump with a front end and a few cracked passwords.

as stated here, both me and xisi work on MPOS (well i work on stratum but still) by default MPOS has a default lock out at 3 attempts which is why i believe the majority are fabricated accounts. while the others are just ones with a weak ass password grabbed from a db dump
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: INFO ABOUT HACK MPOS POOLS / PLUMS INFO / GET SOME FREE COINS HERE. #YOLO #SWAG on: January 11, 2014, 04:02:54 AM
no doubt they may be legit accounts but i believe 1/2 are fabricated accounts, 1/2 are accounts with weak passwords which the OP has guessed.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: INFO ABOUT HACK MPOS POOLS / PLUMS INFO / GET SOME FREE COINS HERE. #YOLO #SWAG on: January 11, 2014, 03:52:08 AM
i have checked all of my pools in this list and it looks to me like the OP has used a bot or manually generated accounts and then somehow has the details there, i can assure you all passwords and pins are hashed and salted in MPOS both by default and in my configs.

An example of this is coye.cryptopools.com. the pool doesnt exist since i fell asleep before the launch so it goes to show the details are fetched from another location.
Another example is ftc.d2.cc it shows a username clicking login takes the user to digitalcoin.scryptmining.com

it looks me like the creator of the app is sending the login details via HTTP POST as a normal user would which allows people to access these fradulent accounts they have made under false pretenses

933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MPOS Pool Setup w/ Altcoins? on: January 04, 2014, 06:19:41 PM
all i can say if u cant figure out how to adapt it then move on, a pool setup isnt for u. i can assure u running a pool is much harder than the setup.

if u still wish to proceed then its pretty simple, skip the testnet stuff and just run getaccountaddress to get the wallet address and use the rpcusername/password/port/url for mpos and stratum

whats the problem with the cubits pool?

you know rather than complaining a pm even if in rage saying the pool is down would be enough. it is christmas no one has time to check on pools every minute.
939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GRANDCOIN, NETCOIN, EARTHCOIN, and other FLORINCOIN BASED COINS on: December 25, 2013, 07:48:07 PM
I am the lead dev of the fork of stratum used by the pools who the OP is claiming is cheating. Obigal the OP of smalltimeminer applied a patch to my fork of stratum to get the code used for coins like OSC/TEK/UNO and other SHA256 PoS Coins and made it work with scrypt coins with transaction messaging in order to fix the issue. Other pools have been using my fork and have followed the coin spec aka enabling sha256_tx(to be renamed still) to ensure that a tx message is enabled into the coin and therefore ensuring that a valid block is produced reducing these long rounds

i can surely take a look. we're already using a modified client which doesnt drop blocks unlike the original
