The only way to diversify away from Bitcoin is fiat

946  Economy / Services / Re: Need SEO services on: September 18, 2014, 08:51:02 PM
I know you have already spoken to my partner Richard.  But give us a call when/if you cannot find someone willing to guarantee results for no upfront payment.  Please keep in mind that the more noobs that make your SEO worse, the more time-consuming and expensive the damage becomes to repair
947  Economy / Speculation / Re: The time to buy is when there's blood in the streets. on: September 18, 2014, 07:49:58 PM
I do not really feel that there is blood in the streets.  It will take sub $300 Bitcoin to make me feel worried
948  Economy / Speculation / Re: The time to buy is when there's blood in the streets. on: September 18, 2014, 07:18:01 PM

950  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 18, 2014, 02:29:57 PM
...
Ask yourself one question: Do you belief Bitcoin will reach 1000 USD again?

If the answer is yes, hold or buy. Simple as that.

Ask yourself a better question:  Will Bitcoin price go lower, regardless of whether it eventually hits 1k?
If the answer is yes, sell.
No there are a range of strategies:
Buy and hold
Hold
Sell and then buy

951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Savior on: September 18, 2014, 12:03:45 PM
No Bitcoin does not need a savior.  Bitcoin is not on the brink of ruin, therefore does not need saving.   Huh
952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Reddit Could Use Bitcoin to Become a Decentralized Media Platform on: September 18, 2014, 12:01:40 PM
Very skeptical.  99% of people online are free riders that will not tip because they expect others to do so
953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bangladesh will jail Bitcoin traders? on: September 18, 2014, 11:58:29 AM

954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Living in Bitcoin on: September 18, 2014, 11:56:44 AM
Anyone here living in Bitcoin alone? I mean pay the bills with bitcoin, buy foods with bitcoin. Literally shop in the grocery with bitcoin?
me Cheesy

no conversion to fiat:
rent - yes
food- yes
electricity&gas - no

although i do not physically handle fiat when paying gas and electric, there is a conversion via one company, and then funds passed to my utility company by the conversion process..

my income is 100% bitcoin, i finished the FIAT slave labour market in 2012 and never looked back... well only occasionally to laugh and pity at the old me.
Can I ask what you do for a living?

My income is mostly Bitcoin and pay for rent with Bitcoin

957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be 'hacked' by September 2015? on: September 17, 2014, 05:19:42 PM
There was a cryptographer (http://insidebitcoins.co.uk/london2014/speakers/#p2887 ) presenting and he claimed Bitcoin's encryption will be hacked by September 2015.
Bitcoin doesn't use "encryption", unless you are talking about wallet encryption.
Sorry that was my mistake - updated the original post
958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who are the most influential characters in the Bitcoin universe on: September 17, 2014, 05:16:01 PM
Sounds like you planning to write some linkbait  Wink
959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CNN Mentions Bitcoin on their Twitter feed on: September 17, 2014, 05:15:12 PM
CNN has been losing ground in the news world for years now so my guess is this is a desperate attempt to snag viewers out of bitcoinland and not much else. However, if doing so forces them to roll the BTC ticker in the faces of what's left of their audience then so be it. Grin

great, a price ticker  Cheesy ... pretty late after Bloomberg and a bunch of smaller companies already added that.

but okay, lets be fair: its nice  Smiley
I love the yearly change
960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Term 'Early Adopter' May Be Inaccurate on: September 17, 2014, 05:12:48 PM
You can only really map out where we are with hindsight.  If Bitcoin dies tomorrow then many early adopters here suddenly become laggards.

If Bitcoin reaches its full potential we are all innovators
