you guys seem to think AMhash is somehow more important than AM itself. AMhash is there to exploit AM miners that wouldnt sell, manage their mining, get some hashes and sell those. its a loss-leader. not much of a money maker.

Rockxie manages the AMhash, AM provides equipment and financing. Rockxie aint doing no runner, and FC has no good reason to either, which merely underscores the probability that he has met with foul play or tragic accident.

I do not believe FC is doing a runner. He owns the majority of AM shares. if he wanted to scam it would be smarter to do this; start paying dividends weekly for a few weeks. when the share price goes up to about 2 btc each and trading volume goes crazy, surreptitiously dump shares in 10 and 15 even 20-25 lots. dump shares amidst frenzied share trading volumes undetected. THEN cut and run, disappear, fake a suicide, w/ever.
what is happening now is either outside interference or "act of god"

now they are saying in the official AM thread that FC is missing, last seen in Mongolia, has gone totally "radio silence" and now they are actually worried for his personal safety. Plus he alone holds the private keys to AM's wallet so all funds are stuck.

This does not look good, but I wouldn't say scam. FC has too much invested, owns too many shares.

I'd have to see the entire article, but....as these type of coverage usually goes, they mention BTC as the brand-name concept, then quickly move on to alts like ripple systems like MPESA, ideas like applepay and google wallet...

they will mention winklevii, and that other bitcoin fund that should appear on wall st. soon. they might mention VC money thats going into the economy.

the takeaway from these sort of articles is usually; some form of digital payments system is coming, they all have problems right now, but bigger players are making serious moves, wait a few years and you will see which one comes out on top.

they say "bitcoin" in the headline to grab your attention, appeal to the curious, but they rarely endorse bitcoin itself.

that's just been my experience of reading mainstream news articles on the subject. I cant read that imigur so i dont know what this one says. but i'd wager i'm pretty much spot on here.

BTW it was paired with a shot of the slideshow that FC was narrating which incidentally showed, very clearly, in english, the word "LABCOIN"
