I can confirm I have sent payment of 2240 PWC to PWC address pTExSUxaW1Frw63er1KCe1dB1JsBydh5D5.  Please send your 11.2 LTC to this address-

LZPQAhdTECcTb4Yk5uAqhSBuC63xVnR83E

Don't use the thread for detailing your entire transaction, just have someone post in it after you complete the exchange.
962  Other / Off-topic / Re: Post your Total time logged into Bitcointalk on: May 13, 2013, 11:34:30 AM
1 days, 1 hours and 50 minutes
Sorry about the bad grammar.

You know you could just edit your post instead of posting again.

31 days, 4 hours and 19 minutes for me
963  Other / Meta / Re: Request for new Child Board of Off-Topic on: May 12, 2013, 10:58:56 PM
I only see 3 reputation threads on page 1 of Off-Topic (ctrl-f 'repu'), doesn't seem too bad.
964  Other / Meta / Re: [NOT CONFIRMED] Bitcointalk users info leaked? on: May 12, 2013, 03:29:00 PM
Sounds like it was just someone spamming trying to scam some bitcoins.
965  Other / Meta / Re: can we open a child boards for anything about domain? on: May 12, 2013, 03:26:27 PM
i am lost in these post about domains.................
What does this even mean?

It means he feel lost in things about domains (bitcoin domains), he want a board which discusses only domains and namecoins

http://dot-bit.org/Main_Page ?

I don't know if anyone uses the forums there still, but that's what I look at if I want namecoin news/discussion.
966  Other / Meta / Re: Altcoin discussions everywhere. on: May 11, 2013, 03:37:29 PM
Ok, and what should I do with the Portuguese forum? People have been posting about Litecoins and other clonecoins there, but I can't move those posts to the alt. curr. board as the posts are written in Portuguese and if I trash them someone will be mad at me.
Any ideas?

There a bunch of alt coin posts every day?  If so, you should talk to theymos about getting a portuguese alt-coin subforum setup.

One Off-Topic child-board would be enough to send those posts to, after all this IS BitcoinTalk and any alt coin thread is off-topic per se.

That's a solid option.
967  Other / Meta / Re: MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN HACKED on: May 11, 2013, 03:00:59 PM
I would stay away from alt coins unless someone you trust has reviewed the code.

I would also stay away from anything bitcoin related unless someone you trust has reviewed the code  Roll Eyes

That's even better advice!

Why is there so many alt-coins...?

Because people keep creating them to make money.

Was interested to read the occasional piece about litecoin and ripple, but there is so much other noise that it distracts from the main event.
I've done the same thing. It would be nice if the altcoin section could be subdivided for more precise ignoring.

Then it just turns into 'bitcointalk.org' deciding what coins are good now, I don't think theymos wants to do that.
973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My bitcoin business card for the conference on: May 10, 2013, 05:43:07 PM
"Computer Software Programmer Developer" sounds a little silly
974  Other / Meta / Re: Altcoin discussions everywhere. on: May 10, 2013, 04:51:48 PM
If you see topics about alt-coins, use the report function.  I always move relevant topics (that I can move) to the alt-coin section.
That would be half the mining topics these days. Are you sure you want us to start doing that?

edit: Not that I object to that idea...

Yup, that's what the button is there for!

My suggestion would be to report the first post, if the post is about alt-coins and not bitcoin.
975  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie restriction should be revisited on: May 10, 2013, 02:36:49 PM
It's a good filter for people who want to instantly get on the forums and start posting.  Have you spent any time looking in the newbie section?  If they were allowed to post anywhere right off the start there would be so much clutter.

The big part of the restriction is the 4 hours online time, that's what helps the most IMO.

So please just retain the 4 hours requirement, not the post requirement. You may not read Chinese but I can tell you the sub-forum is really awful, full of trolling and begging newbies. They just stop once 10 posts are made.

We probably do really only need the time limit, the posting requirement does lead to spam.

When will there be a new type of coin?  instead of SHA256 or scrypt?

When someone creates it, though why do we need another type?

The .bit domain system

Interesting, so it offers a peer to peer distributed DNS registration system?

http://dot-bit.org/Main_Page

I believe that's the best place to read about it.
