I couldnt unvervolt the new rx 5xx cards with AB aswell. The only things that allowed me to do so was the OverdriveN tool.. And from now on im only using this Smiley
That's better choice, check voltages in HWinfo64 and GPU-Z if they are applied well.

With Vegas, what can you do if you are using OverdriveN and HWinfo64 still reports a higher voltage than was set?
I don't have VEGA :/ Have you tried newest AB 4.4.0 stable?
Try ask here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2002025.0

ok. so.. does that mean its currently mining using gpu AND cpu.
If that's the case, I'd just leave it alone.

I thought it was only mining with gpu,, but was using  cpu for some verifications or resubmisisons or some such activity, and not mining with it.

D

editl...   dUH,   yes. i just realized its dual mining gpu and cpu.  sillyme..  going blind on trying out different miners.. i lost track of the facts .
There should be bat file called nocpu. You can run it without CPU with that file. Or you can edit cpu.txt for CPU mining config.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SUMO] SUMOKOIN - 🔏 Digital Cash For High-Confidential Transactions 🔏 on: November 15, 2017, 03:57:04 PM
This is one of the few coins I can mine easily with my CPU.  I don't make much but it's nice to do when I'm using my PC for other things.  Electricity is so expensive in the UK, I don't do much GPU mining and I like CPU, because I can still do most things with my PC while mining.  Hope this coin grows, would be nice to see it in the top 100.
SUMO is not best for CPU mining... If you want to CPU mine Cryptonote coin mine AEON, it is probably better choice. SUMO mine with GPU.

Im wondering what will be situation when wallets go online, mass of people will go straight to exchange (Cryptopia), are you devs in contact with them ? There will be big problems also if they dont have high scalable platform for such an invasion of users per moment.
Well, you will see how many of those HODL who is posting everywhere... will actually hold Cheesy

Just looked a the discord group for etn.uax.io and it looks like I'm not the only one with this problem. The admin is not responsive so I assume that it's a fraud. Is there any decent pool in Europe that has more than 1MH'/s already?
Currently hashparty is probably best, few days ago it was electromine.fr. You can always use Suprnova.
I currently mine on hashparty, it's based in US, but so far no problem with submiting results due to high ping. Will see if they fixed disconnection problems I had few days ago.

How you pepole can get 800/850 h/s  per RX580 card ??

I 've tried several sthigs.  My bios memory straps are already modded (32+ mh/s ETH)

Buth if I keep the same OC settings on ETN (GPU@1150/900 and MEM@2250/950) I hardly get 700 h/s

Using SGMINER with raw intesntity at 1000 - worksize at 8 and gpu threads at 1

I've tried several combinations with intensity arount 570 and worksize to 4... Worst results...

Is it needed to mod the bios again ?

Does the hashrate decrease as long as the difficulty increases Huh?

RX580 Owners, what is your current hashrate on ETN ??

thanks

I have a 580rx Sapphire elpida, I'm getting around 700h/s stock with memshift bios. With 1050core and 1950mem I get 750h/s.

Maybe with a good modded Bios I would get 800h/s

In the setting what got me the most from my rx 580 is this setting on XMR amd:
"gpu_thread_num" : 2,

"gpu_threads_conf" : [
   { "index" : 0, "intensity" : 896, "worksize" : 4, "affine_to_cpu" : false},
   { "index" : 0, "intensity" : 896, "worksize" : 4, "affine_to_cpu" : false}

],

I'm quiet surprised there isn't more tutorial out there that gives you the best setting for each graphic card, espeacially for card widely used like the 580.
I had to read the whole thread of mining monero to find that setting which wasn't marked in BOLD.

There isn't good tutorial for setting up the SGminer so it speaks for itself I guess. The thing should be straighforward yet the command line script doesn't even give you the error, I'm shocked.

SGminer has highest hashrate if you know how to config it. Almost same is for XMR-STAK, but even with best config Sgminer will have better hashrate. I like XMR-STAK anyway Cheesy Your config isn't best it's better than stock, but you need to play with intensity and worksize.
Also performance timings would give you better results than copy original timings from bios...

Anyone had a problem with US pool and ETN mined?
I had my pc switched on for two days during launch day since then i have 55milion hashes submitted and the ETN mined is only 2.71ETN.
I compared that to other users where they got hundreds of ETN for the same hash. Is there any other way to check the balance on US pool or was I shafted?

Those pools got rekt, we are still waiting for some sort of comment on it.
Currently best pool probably is us-etn-pool.hashparty.io

Anyone else having disconnect issues with hashparty io? What is a stable pool to mine etn on? Undecided

http://pool.electroneum.space/#
This one is reliable for the last couple of days and also has a lower fee. But watch it closely I saw already that the pool hashrate decreased from from 1/4 of the network hashrate to nearly nothing.

@phuocduong: dont mine to cryptopia. Mine to your paper wallet you can run the client later and transfer your funds to the exchange if you don’t want to keep them.

http://pool.electroneum.space/#miner

this iste has TROJAN. Kaspersky just find it and delate. Be careful !

Name of Subject:
HEUR: Trojan.Script.Generic

Who does this is a bastard.

The list has a trojan? So 1/4 of the network hashrate aka 1400 miners are mining on a site with trojan script? You are sure this is no false positive? Can someone confirm? I would need to clean my system..
Everybody who use webminer to mine is fool. Hashrate is low and the fee is very high too.
A lot antivirus will detect it, because it might use your CPU without you knowing it, like botnet.

Hi, if someone can  help me  Huh

 I have Msi 980 TI 6GB And I'm trying to get it working using XMR-AEON-STAK-2.0-20171107-CUDA-9-win64 miner

 * A filled out configuration should look like this:
 * "gpu_threads_conf" :
 * [
 *     { "index" : 0, "threads" : 16, "blocks" : 50, "bfactor" : 0, "bsleep" :  25, "affine_to_cpu" : false},
 * ],
 */

"gpu_threads_conf" :
[
  // gpu: GeForce GTX 980 Ti architecture: 50
  //      memory: 5088/6144 MiB
  { "index" : 0,
    "threads" : 16, "blocks" : 52,
    "bfactor" : 6, "bsleep" :  25,
    "affine_to_cpu" : false,
  },

],

But the miner crashes everytime, managed to get 1.33 Kh/s but not for long....
Try lower blocks and maybe CUDA 8 version. CUDA 9 is mostly for Pascal and newer.

As it seems nobody else has mentioned it, there are now some Electroneum mugs and t-shirts available to buy. There are being sold by a third party and all profits go to a mental health charity. I think it's a great cause!

This is a great thing guys.

You can say, "I bought this cup before the mobile miners were even live"

That will mean you are very cool  Wink
ahahahhahahaahhaah
Great line the last one ....
However i find those mugs beautiful Shocked
They need more money Cheesy

ccminer-sp is a outdated crap
don't work with ETN, XMR

COmpiled even with cuda 8, 9 only CCMINER-SP

Don't use SP-mod then, I think ccminer by Tsiv or KlausT should have better hashrate. I recommend XMR-STAK-NVIDIA or you might try the new 2.0 version, if you want to make your own build use newest sources.

No it won't; the shell prompt doesn't respond. killing the process and restarting the miner won't help either.  I feel the gpu's are locked in a particular state and doesn't respond until a hard reset.
That is most likely OC or undervolt problem, not miner.

Greetings guys i really need help from miner experts i put all my investment on this only pc but having issues like drop hashrate also sometimes restarts.

i own a SAPPHIRE RX 470 8GB MINING EDITION WITH HYNIX i used this tutorial to get it to 30hz http://1stminingrig.com/best-bios-rom-for-sapphire-rx-470-8gb-mining-edition-with-hynix-memory-30-mhs/

but i managed to get it 180-181 hashrate but after few mins or hours hashrate drops to 160 or lower is there anyone can tell me what should i do or how to fix this issue also sometimes it restarts randomly no idea why

here is my email if anyone is willing to help me out denisjanuzi@gmail.com
1 card might disconnected? Check for memory errors, maybe core voltages are too low.

anybody has issues with xmr-stak-amd randomly freezing after mining for a couple of hours and locking up?

Increase pagefile to like 32gb

I am using linux.  I don't see the swap file being overused.
You jsut hit enter end it will start mine again? I don't know how it works with Linux but with Windows, cmd->properties and uncheck quick edit mode.

Hi all, can somebody explain the difference between the ports and the relation of difficulty and hashes? I'm mining with CPU and GPU (using 5555 at the moment) - Is that right or so what port should I be using?

From what I believe my understanding is - the better hardware you have the higher difficulty you should take when mining. The higher the difficulty the more coins you get in return for your submitted hashes.

Is that correct?

How do I choose the best suitable port?
Not really. Pick port on pool getting started page.
Difficulty won't give you higher hashrate, but solving too easy or too hard results aren't efficient.

Core clock must currently be a minimum of 1225 to *barely* hold 31MH/s consistent. The memory clock I used with my timings was 2200; with the way I did the timings, this memclock is conservative.

EDIT: For the record, this test was not a Claymore run - meaning that if you're using Claymore, your minimum core clock required to achieve 31MH/s (assuming identical memory performance) will be somewhat higher.
Have used Claymore kernel or your own?

Dude - the edit explicitly says that I used my own, and as such, the minimum core clock for achieving 31MH/s+ will be higher if Claymore's is being used instead.
Now I see it, how could I read it bad :/ Cheesy
