981  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 100 000 000 000 000 Zimbabwean Dollar Bank Note on: May 30, 2014, 05:52:44 AM
Is this really printed out as a note or just trolling around?

I am seriously selling it. This is original Zimbabwean Dollar Bank Note circa 2008, not fake one.

Here is the photo (with a bitcoin physical note  Grin )

Im really interessted... How much is shipping to Germany? More or less than hundred trillion dollars?  Grin

Shipping to Germany is US$ 25 (about 0.0435 BTC for current exchange rate)

are you located in the US or elsewhere? I need a shipping quote.

I am located in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia.

Take LTC? If so price? Where u ship from?

Of course   Wink

Only Bitcoin & Litecoin accepted.

Woah, that's awesome. How did you obtain it? I thought they stopped using it in 2013, or something like that.
982  Economy / Services / Re: Wouldn't it be profitable for sig services to offer jobs to newbies-jr.members? on: May 30, 2014, 05:47:40 AM
Even if they offered it, a small signature for Jr.Members, then it won't be as noticeable as a Member's signature, or a Hero's.

But the fact is that it is there. Being noticeable is kind ehh, I mean we all see the links is the thing.

But if it draws more attention (For instance, my red Ritz signature is just BAM, since it's a 'lighter' color compared to Up/Down, PD, and FXO) then that increases the chances of it being clicked. Would you prefer a plain colored link, that doesn't look exciting, or a few shades of blue?
983  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Military Is Building Brain Chips to Treat PTSD on: May 30, 2014, 05:43:05 AM
These psychos are freakin' crazy. This can't be real.

But then again, it's just our loving big brother knocking at our bedroom door, that wants to inject us with chips that can control our brain! And the brain doesn't control anything...
Right?
984  Other / Meta / Re: Subud! is banned why? on: May 30, 2014, 05:36:00 AM
Why is it that when people get banned, they assumed all of the forum wants to know about it in the Meta section? Why is your ban so important? When PG got banned, I didn't shed a single tear.

There's something called P.Ming.

This was already, recently, I think.

Well it was worth asking

.1BTC is equivalent to $57 USD right now. What would you have told the lender if you couldn't pay them back?
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XC][OFFICIAL] >> Mandatory Wallet Update - The first POS ANON on: May 30, 2014, 05:24:55 AM
What's so special about this coin? And what's going on with it and DRK? I keep hearing random things about it.

Big, colossally stupid FUD war between XC and Dark partisans tanked the price of both. A great time to buy in (I've done so on both). No point in arguing who was worse, just be glad it is mostly over. It was just harming both coins, not helping with either. The FUD was just driving people way from both, not winning them from one side to the other. So if any readers are tempted to keep it up - don't! Apologies and graciousness would be far better at this point.

XC has the first working anonymity system, which is HUGE. It will be a must-have for serious alts going forward. But Darkcoin is also very advanced, there is a reason for their market cap. I hope both win, we need a diversity of techs in this area in case one is compromised/vulnerable in the long run.

Thanks for telling me. I really never invested in Darkcoin or XC, so I really don't follow things like that. And many people were like, "XC a scam" or "Darkcoin a scam", "Both is a scam", "XC is king", "Darkcoin be BLINGIN' rite now!". Etc. Was kind of confusing.

Neither is a scam. Both are leaders in what will be a must-have technology for altcoins. It's not just criminals who want anonymous transactions. Imagine you're in a business that is considering using crypto to pay suppliers and vendors, etc. Do you really want your competitors to be able to review the blockchain and see all your financial dealings? Or your suppliers to be able to see how they can work you for a better deal? Any time an accounting employee left Company A for Company B (or was bribed), there'd be a huge risk of a company's finances being laid bare.

There are plenty of other reasons law-abiding people will want anonymity as a default feature, but the fact that this will be a standard corporate requirement should be enough to make the light bulb come on - no serious alt can ignore it. It's just a question now of which methods of anonymity are best and who can implement them the most quickly and efficiently and then market that.

Huh, I can get that. But the question is: Which is more efficient, or is more anonymous? Is it Darkcoin, which seems to be a bit popular right now, or XC?

990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You Can Now Buy Bitcoin Mining Hardware From Walmart, TigerDirect on: May 30, 2014, 05:04:56 AM
Guessing you can't buy them with Bitcoin? Don't know which is better though. Buying with Bitcoin or Fiat. Fiat is just paper, and rarely increases. But that money in Bitcoin would be a huge lost.

To be honest Im just plan on using it for living expenses.

Why can't you use your money from your job? Don't forget, this isn't the 'investment' section, donation, and, this forum isn't really known for begging.

But I like HODL!

Feels so good and works for me!

I remember when the guy put up the original post!

I derided him and I was WRONG!

Enjoy what helps you feel good.  Smiley
Perhaps someday I will warm up and learn to HODL.

Speaking of HODLING, what ever happened to Helmut Hodl? Did he get more fame from people coining the phrase, 'hodl'?

Helmut Hödl
Helmut Hödl is an Austrian clarinetist and composer. Hödl first played clarinet at age 6. He studied clarinet at the music academies of Vienna and Graz

We had a "Helmut Hodl" before the phrase was coined?
That's funny, I don't remember seeing him, but I was away for over a year in parts of 2012/2013.

Shh, never think of that error again. No really, don't. Or else.
Kidding.
My bad. I'm the biggest derp when it comes to doing special characters.
994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Communist Conspiracy Against Bitcoin on: May 30, 2014, 04:41:16 AM
Communism can censor any idea they don't like. If China or Russia doesn't like Bitcoins, then they can censor or ban it. Not really a conspiracy. But it's not like they can control it.
995  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: So is mining really not worth it anymore? on: May 30, 2014, 04:38:14 AM
It depends if it's a CPU (Useless), GPU (Almost useless) or a ASIC. No matter what you hear, to everybody, the ASIC is GOD. As soon as they came out, GPUs didn't have chance, and GPUs took over from CPUs in 2009-2010.

But if it's a AltCoin, you could get a good profit from a GPU or a CPU.
996  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: habitual paypal scammer on: May 30, 2014, 04:35:31 AM
What country is he from, and city if you have it? I'm not from any European country, so I don't want to assume it's Lat or Lith and can't read the ID.
997  Economy / Lending / Re: 10 BTC To invest. New Investor on: May 30, 2014, 04:31:53 AM
Fifty percent of ten is five. Added to the amount, fifteen is your total. Some people will loan 10BTC for lower. Why would somebody use 50% interest?
998  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for a Sig! deal, on: May 30, 2014, 04:25:57 AM
I suggest Cloudbet, very seasonable Sig deal and I would recommend it.

That's the thing, CloudBet isn't for everybody. I could understand if you don't really won't to make a lot of money on the side, or if you don't have a lot of time... But some of the other signature campaigns are for people who have enough time. For instance, I have a ton of free time on my hand (Because I have no life) so it's natural I'll go with FXO, UP/Down or PD.
999  Other / Off-topic / Re: The best smartwatch ever! on: May 30, 2014, 04:21:43 AM
People will pay huge premium on "fashion" watch.

Guess that's right, but I'm %100 sure the company will make that watch flimsy and breakable on purpose. I don't expect it to be heavy-duty to titanium wreckage, but at least not as 'breakable' as the Android that constantly slips out of my pocket, or the glass IPhone some of my friends have.

Yippee! The American centralized absorption of Bitcoin is almost complete. Soon there will be no difference between Bitcoin and the American dollar. Coindesk will just swap you between them seamlessly as long as your birth certificate, blood sample and semen are on file.

There's a huge difference between the Bitcoin, and your average USD. I think it's the reason most of us joined, actually.

On Topic:

Coindesk actually gets something right, and interesting.
