I've been off for a few days and I see CONs selling for 1000+ on c-cex... Anything special happened that I missed or it's a natural flow of events? We have this super awesome explorer that tells you everything you ever wanted to know about Staking, also I've been adding little things here and there to the wallet although now that it's more complicated, it gets to be a bit of a pain in the ass with debugging.

I threw CON onto my website's explorer code. Its a good way to see some cool charts like everyone's stake weight Feel free to visit presstab.pw, and I recommend looking through the "Chain" page, it really shows you what the coin network has been up to. Suggestions and comments welcome! Thanks, lots of interesting information here. Kinda makes me want to shut down my wallet for a little while, so I can make a huge spike turning it back on ahh, but then you would be missing out on Stakes then

Anybody else have issues withdrawing from c-cex. I just got this, I've never seen this before C-Cex is running out of Coins so has smaller units to combine so lots of combines adds up to more than their withdrawl Fee, just take out less at a time for now. I had it happen too, also told support about it and had them process my withdrawl pretty quickly. Only 0.5% of the Coins left on C-Cex (35k), seeing massive spikes all over the board. The moon is neigh!

wow that´s nice Thx presstab 212991.13094948 CON now, but want more just had to beat me out of the top 5 I'm up to 207k but I'm good at Staking so I could probably out Stake you with it. I staked about 1100 the last day but once I get up to full weight then I would probably do about 1800-2500 a day. The trick to Staking is about having a range of Block sizes split up across your period so you can always have Coins available to Stake, it's a bit like a lottery and the older your Blocks and the higher the amount, the higher the chance to win a Block. If you have 2.5% of the supply then you want to aim for 2.5% of the reward each day (43,200 * 0.025 = 1080) but if you have larger Blocks they will Stake sooner but are pushed back by smaller, older Blocks. Currently seeing Blocks with weight of 3000-4000 Stake so if you have a Block of 4000 Coins it would Stake after 3 days, but 2 Blocks of 2000 would have the same chance after 4 days, 8 Blocks of 500 would all have the same chance after 10 days. However, you could take that Block of 4000 and split that up as (1000) (700) (650) (600) (550) (500) then you have 6 Blocks that can Stake and would Stake more overall since you may also have Blocks of 600 Stake after 3-4 days.

I am waiting for a coin that will bring solution to end hunger on Earth.
PayCon promises to end world hunger AND all deadly diseases, your solution is right here

What about high inflation but the Fees grow at such a high rate of destruction that eventually everyone is left with Coins they can't spend, only one person would be able to send their Coins in the end.

Best way to support your favorite altcoin is full nodes, and posting (shilling) about how fantastic it is.
I doubt shilling has any value except making the holders warm inside. Who has been converted by shills? More likely it is a turnoff to anyone not involved. Would probably depend on the method and how appealing it is.

Best way to support your favorite altcoin is full nodes, and posting (shilling) about how fantastic it is. If you can host nodes then you can do other stuff too, "boots on the ground". If you have people that are there that can help you with problems and are knowledgeable then it builds development and from that you get more trade. I liked markm's post on market backing. Provide liquidity, especially buy-side liquidity.
I consider this extremely important.
Consider for example if when 10% of all the coins a chain will ever contain have all been sold for $0.10 each all that wealth used to buy them had been put back onto the buy-side, it would have been enough backing to back all the coins ever to exist all at $0.01 each.
So basically as coins sell for more and more each, the floor backing could constantly grow.
If when bitcoins had been selling for $1000 10% of all bitcoins ever to exist had been bought for that much, from someone or someones willing to actually "back" the currency, that would have been enough dollars in the system to "back" every bitcoin ever to exist at $100 each, basically gaurantee-ing a floor price of $100 from then on.
With coins such as DeVCoin, which continue to mint coins forever, providing such cast-iron floor price by means of deep solid buy-side order-books is harder. But maybe worth attempting regardless.
Basically I consider the ability to reliably "back" a currency to be one of the very few "advantages" of a centrally-issued currency. The issuer gets all the wealth used to initially purchase the currency thus is in a position to "back" the currency.
Everyone with long-term interest in a currency should probably consider trying to "back" it to whatever extent they can afford...

A Blockchain is only about proving data is there and in it's original form, the method allows proving of sums and balances. Because the method allows of recording data it makes it a suitable use as a currency, it does not however make it an Altcoin as a digital currency, it's just referred to as such by popular use.

thanks for help, thinking about: min age: 1 hour, so a wallet will keep sync at most 1 hour max age=-1, no limitation each year: 3-5% supply: not sure yet, think something like 10500000
POW: 10 blocks(X11), and then POS
I am also thinking in POS period, I should still mine or not, just keep the wallet open?
You would need to mine more than 10 Blocks Depending on the targetspacing (time between Blocks), if it is 1 hour then you should atleast POW mine mine 2 hours worth of Blocks. You can also mine the majority of the Coins in the first Block or just set the POW at 0 reward until you split up the Blocks.

thank I think blockchain must add new block to fix "out of sync" problem. When I start wallet, it always shows "out of sync", the wallet start to sync only after a new block added to the chain. In order to add a new chain, a new transaction must happen such as a new block mined. So before the new interest generated, no new block will be generated. The new interest only be generated after the min age, for example, the min_age is 3 hours, after 3 hours, new interest generated, and a new block can be created based on this new interest, and a new block added to the blockchain, and the "out of sync" wallet can keep sync because the new block added to the chain. in the future, every 3 hours(min age), some interest generated, and a new block generated, and added to the blockchain, and the "out of sync" wallets keep sync, is this correct? Thanks
yes, this is correct

|
|
thanks, the time required to sync getting smaller if I make min age to be smaller, so the time to sync will be faster?
No, the time to sync is the same. To sync means to download the transaction history of the Blockchain. You are only talking about the minimum time a Block will take to Stake.

Your post was likely deleted because the comment you were responding to was also deleted (likely because it was insubstantial) and your post didn't add anything else to the conversation. I don't see why you're acting so surprised by this.
I guess whenever your post gets deleted because of the comment to which you responded to also got deleted, you personally get a message from the moderators explaining that "the post got deleted because it was a reply to other deleted post", at least this is what I got from grue when my post got deleted in these situations. So I don't think this is the case. That's because I have a script so I can quickly compose canned messages. Don't expect me to always send those though, and certainly don't expect other staff to do the same. Well damm. This would explain a lot (LOL). Maybe it would be a good idea to give to the other moderators so they can help educate people on how to avoid breaking the rules......or better yet, give to theymos so a anon message can be sent with the same information to allow for anon moderation but with the benefits of educating people as to which rules they are breaking. I think this may be the most constructive post in this thread! Hmm, you mean like write up some detailed messages moderators can use to alert that a person's post has been deleted and why, within a clearly defined set of rules? You already have the unofficial list, you could just break that up and do a little write up for each and make it sound nice. Dear user, we regret to inform you that one of your posts has been deleted (oops), we are very sorry about this but the post flagged for removal because one of friendly moderators recognized this post as Spam. Excessive posts and Spam are very expensive for us to host and we want to make the bestest possible Bitcointalk community possible. We hope this has not caused you too much inconvenience, if you are unsure about posting procedures, you can view the Moderation guidelines here (insert link here). Hope you have a super fun happy day, Bitcointalk

thanks. so if my min age is 3 hours, interest will be generated every 3 hours, and it will be added to the new block, so the new block will be added to the chain each 3 hours, and the sync can be catch up within 3 hours?
Thanks
Yes, each Block is a transaction you receive and the amount, each Block would Stake after a minimum of 3 hours.

also how often the interest coin will be added to my wallet, each day? Which parameter? Thanks
How often is the min age

Hello
The phone that i had Google Auth on has died a sad and painful death. I have setup CG Auth on my replacement phone, if i could please have the 2fa disabled for my account "enLighteN85" or direct to whom i need to contact. Thanks
That has nothing to do with account unlocking and therefore there is nothing I can do for you. Wait, so why has this become a support thread for getting your Zencloud accounts unlocked? Wouldn't it be worse to direct them to this thread, bewbs and all? Because everywhere i tried to get help/support paycoin related directed me to this thread and stated that they were not allowed to help on said site. I have spamed the wrong code into the 2fa request, and got the account locked, are you able to assist now? I have nothing to do with PayCoin, never owned ZenCloud, Hashlets, XPY nor have I been a part of Hashtalk or and other PayCoin forum so your barking up the wrong tree. Make a thread or something, this is getting quite repetitive.

Well I'd love to steal press's credit, but alas, it's not my link nor my sight. That little piece of sexiness is all presstab.
I am planning on adding a few more coins to my cute little explorer site. And also to expand the capabilities of the analysis too. I caught a glimpse and it's amazing, it blows every other explorer away.
