24 hr (1440 block) min stake, will help keep total coin count down Wink

-

Quote
Block    0 - 5000 = 0 coins Per block
Block 5001 - 7500 = 100,000 %
Block 7501 - 10,000 = 75,0000 %
Block 10,001 - 12,500 = 50,000 %
block 12,501 - 15,000 = 25,0000 %
Block 15,001 - 17,500 = 10,000 %
Block 17,501 - 20,000 = 5,000 %
block 20,001 - 22,500 = 2,500 %
Block 22,501 - 25,000 = 1,000 %
Block 25,001 - 30,000 = 500 %
Block 30,001 - 60,000 = 250%
Block 60,001 - 120,000 = 100%
block 120,001 Onwards is set to 50% Per Year

each of those different staking amounts is in a 2500 block block, until it gets to 500%.
1440 min stake confirmation means if you stake early in any period, you will get a chance to stake twice, otherwise you'll get to stake twice in next period
(1440 * 2 = 2880 which is obv greater than 2500 )
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LOC]LOCO|Quark|PoW/PoS|HiPos|Masternodes|Tor|NO ICO|10K Dev Fund[LOC][ANN] on: April 19, 2016, 02:20:42 AM
ok, can confirm it stakes according to the first formula.
BUT, in OP it says 6 hours to start, actually it takes not hours but 1440 confirmations.
my test tx was cold as ice after 6 hours for hours, and ignited for staking exactly after 1440 conf, it took ~21 hours

https://github.com/LGLoco/Loco/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L2202

which means no matter what a smart ass i am, i can only stake the same tx twice in every POS 2500-block interval, at best

yah.
Code:
		nStakeMinConfirmations = 1440;

https://github.com/LGLoco/Loco/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L2223

looks like won't stake for 1440 conf, and with hi-pos periods being divided into 2500 block sections, only one obvious stake per section.

with luck will get two in the first mega rewards Cheesy

984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: mac wallet compile on: April 18, 2016, 01:46:14 PM
i have a problem with building a stand alone app from 0.9.x up
how do you package the exec into an app?

        ./autogen.sh
        ./configure --with-gui=qt5
        make

ends up with bitcoin-qt in the qt folder, but i canna work out how to app it :p

985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: mac wallet compile on: April 18, 2016, 01:30:45 PM
i googled the above post error, and possibly it's to do with yr db version.

----

probably not relevant any more to this thread Smiley
but you can see which dependencies are linked where by right clicking on coin-qt > show package contents > then navigate into Contents/MacOS
then do an otools on the coin-qt exec
something like

otools -L coin-qt.app/Contents/MacOS/coin-qt

then you can see if some of the deps are not correctly simlinked.

. i generally type otools -L then click drag the exec onto the command line and it completes full address for me

well i have a minor string of nearly staking a block with .01 reward, assumedly a transfer fee, but they're orphaned :p

i'll leave it open for a while and see if i ever manage to actually get one
it certainly appears to be mining transaction fees. which is in line with zero reward.

generally a zero reward block would be not accepted, but any transaction fee mined will make the reward non-zero.

edit
woot i got one !! .01 reward Smiley

ok.
have uploaded source as I have it. it's embedded in teh ANN clone above, and is here
https://github.com/bumbacoin/NUC

i do not have windows qt.

if someone can upload it, these seem to be the virus totals for .exe and .zip for comparison.  (these seem to be v1000)
exe - https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/ef0093e2e09a9389bed8206aa2b220b41dead0ce9a5594bf70afaf22b266ea77/analysis/1459802633/

edit,
got my hands on a copy of win qt. seems to be v1100 from all accounts. i havent totally checked because i don't windows Smiley but it seems clear from virustotal, and the hash seems to match v1100

it is not the original zip as posted by original dev, but has been rezipped.

zip - https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/8911c48163d23f6104d12c13a760e2c37077fa4d38ead7efb64695aec84db644/analysis/1460952187/
the .exe inside the zip, matches 7 day old virustotal scan

@bumbacoin - why not just start a new thread in the ANN forum?  That way the bots on twitter will pickup the new information.  Obviously, that's up to you, but it appears that's where this thread is going.   Smiley

i'm just posting it for someone else to quote Wink
whether this becomes an "official" takeover thread or not, information is here for use by anyone.
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLINT] CLINTON SHA256 on: April 18, 2016, 03:08:12 AM

I double checked with HitmanPro now, both wallets V1 and V2 and indeed red and removed.

This is my bitdefender log:

Bitdefender blocked applications: unsafe applications attempted to change or delete protected files, Ransomware auto blocked them

Up to you guys if you believe me or not.

I have no reason to doubt what you say, I just don't really understand it all. I ran HMP as well and get hits on a lot of wallets that been sitting on my pc without a problem, or at least nothing I noticed.

I did remove everything except dat and conf file.

some devs have been known to change uploaded file over time, so any malicious content is not always there.
virustotal will tell you if you are scanning the same file or differnt ones, it will compare sha-256 hash of files in question.

Dev's original split block tutorial (not being an experienced imgur user, i'm not sure if he can (or will) delete his uploaded images so I've copied them)

Go to options, and select "display coin control", press apply/ok

Go to your send coins panel

Click on inputs, select input (can be one, or more), and copy your address, click ok

Select splitblock, enter nr of block inputs you want, enter your address, and enter amount "after fee", click send and done.

Result

Currently the sending fee is set to 0.1 NUC. So if you don't want high fees, you can manually split your coins with single transactions. Just send coins to your own address the normal way.
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NUC Fallout Thread on: April 18, 2016, 02:20:26 AM
