1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arbitrum Token Initial Price Speculation on: March 26, 2023, 08:01:26 PM
With the huge amount of airdrops to the arbitrum community, am surprised the price of arb is still above $1, I was really hoping to see it under $1 to be able to buy a good amount.
I can't really specula but I think arb can go as high as $5-1o in thr next bull season
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bear market is your friend on: March 26, 2023, 07:53:34 PM
Definitely, it is only in bear market you buy btc at a giveaway price. This period is for those investors with stablecoins waiting to strike the market. I completely agree with @op on this, instead of complaining about the bear period, we should be taking advantage the season to buy what we can afford.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk and the fall of Twitter on: March 26, 2023, 07:42:10 PM
Am I the only one who just noticed the delete function is no longer available?
I can't really say whenever exactly this function was removed but I only noticed it today. To be honest, am not very have especially with this changes, I can say this has affected me directly, other changes he made around twitter has no direct impact on me as this does. Elon needs to be careful with these several changes before he makes the platform unusable.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Circulating supply matters to you? on: March 25, 2023, 07:28:17 PM
In a way yeah, any projects with a small circulating supply has a good chance of increasing a lot in price especially when such projects has a solid utility that drives demand for it.
A project with big circulating supply will not have enough room for price growth before the mc reaches a very high level. Besides the project quality, investors also look at supply to determine the price growth capacity.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Always Have a financial record in whatever business you own on: March 25, 2023, 07:13:45 PM
I also have a close friend who engage in petty trade, the only record she keeps that i know of is the debt record, because she have different people buying some of her items on credit so she only bother about keeping records of her debtors. I guess by doing this she can already be able to know her cost, expenses and profit.
Keeping records is very important but some business owners may sees it as time consuming and may not be interested in doing so even if it will be very helpful for the growth of their business. This can also apply to none business owner, anyone can keep record of their daily expenses which can help them to plan properly.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thanks to bitcoin on: March 25, 2023, 05:26:28 PM
We don't need to ignorantly write about Bitcoin because Bitcoin is not going to replace your job rather it's just a means of investment for those that are ready to invest and wait for the market to grow bullishly so they can sell there holdings and make good profits from the market. The problem many persons are having is the fund for them to invest in the market now that everything is still bearish. Those that have huge funds to invest in Bitcoin are the ones that are earning big from the market.

I agree, btc can potentially change your life only if you have the means to buy and invest, so in a way people still needs to find a way to make money to buy btc especially for those who don't have the skills and understanding to be paid in btc.
It takes a lot of patience and commitment to profit from crypto investment, the impatient ones don't have a positive story to say about btc because they are too much in a hurry to become a millionaire overnight.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The 'Greed' index of Bitcoin users is sharply increasing. on: March 25, 2023, 04:32:17 PM
Btc price dropping does not equate to investors losing money, i think at this point, the saying "invest what you can afford to lose" should not apply to btc but to most of the numerous alts we have in the market because in the end btc always recovers with full force, and sometimes react differently from predictions.
So it is normal to see investors greed index increasing knowing what btc can do. This is the time to start getting prepare for the next bull run, not in the bull season.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arbitrum Token Initial Price Speculation on: March 23, 2023, 08:12:41 PM
How did you claim the ARB token? Unfortunately I couldn't claim earlier because the website was down and at the time of listing the price was above $10 then it became a dump because of the disposal of tokens resulting from the airdrop that they claimed and then sold it.

Now ARB is at $ 1.3 with a decrease of 88% then are you going to hold or sell it?
I think the potential to go up is still possible because they already have quite a large daily volume.

I think $1.3 or $1.43 is a decent price for those who got it for free, people were literally handed free money for doing less complicated tasks. since the majority have not got the opportunity to claim their free tokens, the probability of arb going further down is high, so selling now at this price seems to be a fair trade. Some people will be claiming as high as 10k arb tokens which at this present price is about $14,300 free money. This is a good price but also the future is very bright for arb tokens.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to keep your money in bank? on: March 23, 2023, 08:02:26 PM
All banks are not silicon valley just so you know, and reputable or not, anything can happen. If reputation was to play a role here, silicon valley imo should be considered as one since only notable companies own assets there. I think this just goes to show that no company is above a security breach.
Choosing a reputable bank is good but when something is bound to go wrong it can't be stopped, and reputation won't do much to prevent it from happening.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arbitrum Hype on: March 23, 2023, 07:50:55 PM
Arbitrum is more than hype, the network is buzzing with different Dapps building on it. What makes them stand out is their ability to airdrop massively to early adopters who took time to interact with their testnet during its early stage. Arbitrum is a huge project and already lots of projects using the network.
This is one of the most talked about L2 project that will be making a lot of waves in a few months to come, this is just the beginning.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Space ID token? on: March 21, 2023, 09:35:42 PM
You should be preparing for the voyage 2 instead of trying to figure the token out. As long as the $ID tokens has a strong utility on  the space id platform to sustain the price value otherwise otherwise participants with huge amount will dump during the open trade.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can end poverty? In a nation today on: March 21, 2023, 09:27:13 PM
For me proverty is not the problem of a person but of the whole nation in my country the eradication of poverty has becomes necessary for the sustainable and inclusive growth of the let state the fate here Bitcoin has helps the poor by Increasin their savings and access to capital also it has help around 1.7million people in my country and also it has also impoverished people to control their investment.

Except the people themselves ate will to change their situation to the better, otherwise don't expect government to invest in btc just to alleviate the poverty in a country when they are not ready to recognise it.
Any poor person who is smart and brave enough to buy btc has changed his/her life.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin rising from banking collapse...Permanent or new Fed stops ahead? on: March 21, 2023, 09:18:06 PM
Btc halving is fast approaching and the market is gradually sliding into to the next bull season   probably the biggest of them all, I don't think the fed can do much about what is to come.
Fed has always been trying, this is not their first attempt and btc has always defiled them all. So I really don't think there will be any difference.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Scarcity of money on: March 19, 2023, 07:29:13 PM
Perhaps other nations are catching up with the cashless economy, beside, may I know how do you come about this? What makes you think other countries are experiencing scarcity of money?
Don't generalised base on what is happening in your country.
Maybe this is the government's way of tackling inflation, maybe they wants to reduce the amount of raw cash in circulation. If you can shop with your card, why do you worry about the number of money circulating.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects come out when bull market begin. on: March 19, 2023, 07:19:55 PM
Yeah because the market condition during the bull is most favorable for new projects.  During the bear season new projects find it hard to survive because of very low interest from the investors, almost everyone are on stablecoins and not ready to take unreasonable risk with their funds.
Even though the market is not fully recovered but it is showing signs of life which is good enough for some projects and while others will rather wait.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Banks are collapsing. Will Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies rise from here?? on: March 18, 2023, 07:20:45 PM
Government are still in control of the economy and I so doubt they will fold hands and watch their instrument of destruction collapse without bothering to save it. How will they control the world if they allow banks to die and crypto a decentralized space to take over.  They expect that to happen.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin continue to rise on: March 18, 2023, 07:14:13 PM
hello, all my friends... now the price of bitcoin has increased quite a lot... and now bitcoin is in the range of 27000.
but I want to ask do you think the price of bitcoin will continue to rise until it reaches 50000 or not... ?I want to hear it from all of you...
and if I sell my bitcoin now I'm afraid the price of bitcoin will fly even higher... I want to hear your opinion...?

I don't know what good it will do you yo hear other people's opinion on how high btc will go because no one can tell you the exact way the market will react. During the period when silicon Valley Bank incident most people thought btc is going to dump alot couple with the Mtgox news but for some reason the way react differently.
If you are btc for long term you should not concern about the price now since the future price is definitely going to be a lot higher.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Would You Consider Adding Bitcoin to Your Retirement Savings on: March 17, 2023, 08:56:56 PM
Yeah, a portion of my retirement funds. At such a stage you can't afford to be reckless, despite the trust btc has been able to achieve over the years there is still some level of risk,
If you are retired it means there is no other steady way to generate monthly income except you are able to invest your retirement fund wisely so you don't fall flat on your ass being careless.
So yeah, a small portion will be in btc and the rest will be in other investments that are less risky.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In the best interest of investors, Bounties shouldn't be paid in Tokens on: March 17, 2023, 08:45:20 PM
Most teams don't care much about the value of their tokens otherwise they will most likely consider the option of paying bounty with any other tokens than the native token of the project.
Protecting investors' investments is not a strong point to some teams, they are too stingy to want to pay with stablecoins, hence they will rather make payment with their tokens knowing the possibility of that token getting dumped is high. only a few teams sometimes consider this.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Layer 2 and Arbitrum on: March 17, 2023, 08:38:29 PM
I think Arbitrum will be further developed and implemented in different crypto services. Right now Arbitrum support is still quite weak if we talk about different services, but there is potential, especially considering the difference in commissions compared to ETH. I consider Layer 2 as one of the main direction in altcoins, which will get hype in 2024-2025, and ZK-Rollups may also be affected by this hype. It is also worth paying attention to Layer 0 projects.

I don't think the support can be considered weak when the network is barely launched and operational, there are already projects showing interest in building in this l2 network and to be honest, i think they will receive lots of support, have you used arbitrum eth to transfer? the fees are similar to the eth we use to know way back when.
They are new in the space but i believe they will have many interesting projects wanting to work with them because it is easy and less expensive.
