Why would you worry over something you have no control of? What exactly is being worried can do to stop or prevent the recipients of these btc not to sell if they choose to? Nothing. So if this ever happens, the market may experience a dip and recover as always. Mt Gox or not, btc will always surpass previous ath at the right time.

I didn't know dogecoin pump and dump is the determine factor of the general crypto market, I thought only btc has that power. How do you explain all the previous weeks of bear market? Was that because of dogecoin as well?

We all find it hard to move on from a project that did incredibly well, many are still buying Shiba inu today because they believe it can do another 1000% gain in future but the reality is I don't see how anymore, don't get me wrong, Shiba will still be a profitable investment but what I have learnt so far about making the biggest gain in crypto is becoming one of the earliest investors, before the project get popular you should be in, that's when you should be expecting 100x - 300x.
You forgot to mention you need to have a first hand information about the launch of such projects. No doubt you stand the chance to gain alot if you have to the chance to participate as an early adopter. You should also note not all projects are worthy irrespective of having the chance to participate early. |

Imagine me creating a topic in 2017 asking if doge coin can hit 0.70$ some day the answer would have been NO from almost everyone, what I have learnt from crypto projects is no matter how stupid a coin looks and you need to get out because its not doing fine always leave a bit behind, I sold all my doge coin 120k before 2021 bull market and left only 1067 Doge coin in my wallet, learn from my mistake.
Assuming the reverse was the case would you still feel the same as you feel with regrets now? i think what is most important is doing what you feel is right and don't be too regretful. The fact is, it is not easy to know the future performance of a certain project, dogecoin was not expected to reach such a price level few years back mainly because of its nature of being a meme coin, many people never see it to be that worthy to hold, but crypto is full of surprises but it is not a reason to jump into any worthless project just because. |

It is easy for anyone to come here and make up story of them being satoshi when all they need to do is sign a message from one of his wallets for everyone to see.
You can not get people to believe you are who you claim just by this story, satoshi decides to remain anonymous all these years for a reason, it will be sensless to come out now to reveal his/her identity to the world. I think this post is just to gain the attention of forum users.

The market has not recovered yet, no investor wants to hold bags of IOU for long especially when they are not the real deal. It is not surprising people will sell quickly to take profit. Anyone buying this iou is who I feel sorry for, if they are unable to exchange to real token later will be a very huge mistake on their part.
I don't think it fizzles out just because the price gets dumped 50% as you described, the main purpose of the fork is what is most important and not the price iou is selling.

How many education projects do you know in blockchain that has made any impact? I really haven't seen any making an impact like the rest of the project from other trends. I have seen a few education-related projects in the past but unfortunately, they could not make any impact on this ecosystem. Ledu is not an exception either, education ecosystem may have a good use case but no project has been able to truly explore and utilize it.

Most certainly, the more government regulations keep spreading deep into the crypto space the more privacy projects become irrelevant. As much as people have negative opinions about centralized exchange and projects, a high percentage have been dominated by centralized projects and it will keep growing until nearly all privacy projects are phased out. I don't see the point of owning a privacy coin when you are a centralized exchange user.

I read in the local news that a person bought several houses with fake tokens. He has defrauded more than 1.2 million dollars and now, house owners have a worthless fake token. This is not new. We have seen different scams over the years by using cryptocurrencies! But I read people's comments and seems they are angry.
A good event can change people's views of cryptocurrencies.

They were given shitcoins in place of their property without knowing, this is definitely another bad image on crypto. It is good to let more people know about btc and what they stand to gain just by buying what they can afford, the more we create awareness about btc the more people around us will understand it and want to get involved and the more the gap between those who knows and who does not will be reduced. However, it is equally important to prepare the mind of such people about the risk (particularly the bear period) when the price will go lower, this is the period that freaks new investors out and should be pointed out from the beginning of mentoring.

Victims of Mt Gox have been waiting for years for this moment and since the price of btc back then is not what it is now it is very likely some will want to dump as soon as they receive their funds. After such awful experience no one will blame them for selling and fleeing, so most likely there will be pressure on price if more than half of the victims have this opinion but on the other hand, it is possible some will decide to hold base on the fact that their assets has appreciated since the mt gox incident happens.
If it was me i won't be selling knowing what the future holds for btc but different strokes for different folks.

Starting up a business is not easy otherwise many people would be their own boss by now, for business to grow, established and successful, you need to dedicate a lot of time, effort and money.
As a worker with very little income it will be hard to start up a business with what you earn, taking a loan from the bank is risky but with determination you can succeed otherwise you will be in serious debt.
Job's are different, there are Job's with very high income that can support a high standard of living and don't require any additional source of income. Such are not for everyone. However, as a low income earner it will be better to have both although it is not an easy ride.
