201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top mistakes of newbies in crypto on: September 23, 2022, 03:39:43 PM
3. unrealistic expectations
4. short term view

These two are the most mistake made by new and sometimes none newbies too, most people are in crypto with a short term intention, hoping they can make millions in a short period with a small funds that will become x1000 and so.
It it is not that such luck does not happen but it is not always the case, few people have been lucky with their small investment within a short period but this will not be the case for all investors in crypto.
It is better to have a long term view so there won't be disappointment along the way.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A good news or a bad news on: September 23, 2022, 02:50:37 PM
I see it as a good news to disclose the reserve backing their stablecoin, many users are in the dark in regards to usdt reserve backing and such could lead to catastrophic damage to many users.
@op i don't get why you see this information as the great cryppto collaps! would you rather they continue keeping users in the dark regarding the actual state of usdt?  The largest stablecoin in crypto should not have issue being transparent.

204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now cryptocurrency integrated into opera. on: September 22, 2022, 07:51:57 PM
Well let's hope new users will understand it enough to know it's importance web3.
It is always a good news to spread crypto to a more larger number of people but how exactly will this bring awareness to users of opera and how they will benefit from this in terms of crypto knowledge  Huh
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't keep connected your wallet to a Dapps for a long time. on: September 22, 2022, 07:37:50 PM
That is so true, most of these dapps will connect our wallet to are not secured enough to protect our wallet, so am in agreement with always disconnect our wallet from any dapp site immediately we are done with transaction.

And also it is important to have separate wallet for airdrop and giveaways because most of them are the reason users get hacked, if anyone must participate in this airdrops, it is better to use a different wallet from amin wallet that don't hold much funds. Better to be safe than be sorry.
206  Economy / Services / Re: I offer my finical advisor services for money on: September 21, 2022, 09:06:36 AM
You cannot spell correctly your financial advisor thread then you expect people to believe you that your good on it?

Lol, his advice is what matters.... spelling correctly isn't (sarcasm)  Wink

Lol why won't someone with an intact mind buy BCW's premium and give that a shot while making hell lot of money, but instead go for your ^finicial^ advices?

Bro BCW premium cost thousands but this one cost only $170 at most to get a good "finical" advice, this is the best you can get Grin
Talk about value for your money. Lol.
207  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PNNV.com - Major update - need your review! on: September 19, 2022, 07:16:47 PM
Looks simple and nice and the modification makes it better. Your user base should not be limited to only btc users which is why I don't see anything wrong with alts inclusion.
As already pointed out above, searching with coin/token ticker doesn't bring the result except typed in full. Some of the alts don't show the right max supply as shown in the image below, checked 3 different alts that come out with different max supply from CG.

208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Safari Swap-Earn 500% APY by Staking on: September 18, 2022, 06:21:05 PM
According to cz stay away from any project that offers high apy because they are a trap to lure investors into the platform, invest and then they will do a 360 turn of that very attractive apy because they can not keep up paying such high reward if they care about the growth of the project. So don't trust such high apy it is unrealistic.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will satoshi come back and give his 1 million btc to users of this forum if BTC on: September 17, 2022, 08:01:35 PM
Any invention that is able to survive for more than a decade can be considered successful. btc has already achieved what it was intended for even though it seems not to be generally accepted (thanks to the gov). it's popularity and evergrowing awareness is its great success.
And don't expect to receive anything from satoshi bro, the days of getting free btc already long gone, now you have to really work for it or save to have it.  Smiley
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) Price Prediction. Will LUNC price hit $0.001 in 2022? on: September 17, 2022, 07:52:54 PM
If anyone knows that answer, they will be loading up buying all the lunc in the market but such things are not known to us. Alts investments are risky especially one that is very fragile like lunc. We can all agree that the project does not have the strong community backing it use to have and hence it is very risky to be considered a long-term project.
This is the end of Q3 2022 and it is yet to reach that price, perhaps before the end of Q4 it will hit your price prediction @op.
211  Economy / Economics / Re: MONEY IS THE MOTIVATING FACTOR, what do you think? on: September 16, 2022, 06:37:33 PM
Money is a motivational factor for most people but not for all. there are few people in this world who are not motivated by money, they're passionate about what they do and not the money they can earn from it.
There is nothing wrong with loving money or wanting to have it but it becomes a problem when you are obsessed and misled by it. Money can make and break you at the same time. It is better to have control of your money than to let it control you.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin will always remain the best choice on: September 16, 2022, 06:23:17 PM
Bitcoin has been embedded in many people's minds that by investing in Bitcoin it will be profitable even though it will not always be like that,
Regarding credibility, I think there is no need to doubt it,
never be afraid and have to believe in what we do ourselves

Profitability is not only the reason why some people see btc as the best, it is all about the ease of use and convenience, the lack of control from any central body. People should not see btc only as a profiting tool but also as a great alternative to have control of your own funds and access them anytime you damn pleased.
The profit aspect is one side of it, the decentralized nature is what most people who truly understand the tech are after.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Well! Bitcoin doesn't have this problem on: September 15, 2022, 06:55:19 PM
This problem can be resolved if the financial institution offers to pay a certain percentage of what you own in your account on a given period than not giving at all under the pretext of a bad economy.
The customers trust them to keep their money safe and that is what they should do, refusing and denying access to people's funds because of an economic crisis is a crime.
Although using violent methods to forcefully collect money from the bank is not the right thing to do either.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Biggest Gainers in The Just Concluded Ethereum Merge on: September 15, 2022, 06:43:46 PM
The biggest gainer imo is everyone who supports this network and wants to see it better and more user-friendly. In addition to the above mentioned, i sincerely hope this merge will somehow reduce the transaction fee to the lowest level as we have in other networks.
215  Economy / Economics / Re: Flood causing economics crises on: September 14, 2022, 04:40:55 PM
Flood or any type of natural disaster often causes a huge economic and social impact on the affected country so much so that businesses and other related activities will be put on hold. These are a natural disaster that can occur without any notice. Especially when the right infrastructure are not in place to reduce the impact.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SWEATCOIN on: September 13, 2022, 06:44:47 PM
what did you guys see about sweatcoin hype

will this last forever?Huh

This question of yours doesn't make sense, nothing last forever if you must know. Sweatcoin is a project that is yet to enter any exchange, you can only earn some by using the app, the app looks 80% ready with constant updates from the team, there is a mini store where you can spend your earned sweatcoin on items.
there is nothing much to say about the project except you can earn free sweatcoin now if you put in some effort. and as for last forever, I really doubt you understand what you ask.

Quote
So in the period between when you quit your job in 2017 and invest all your savings in btc..... how were you able to feed and take care of all other expenses as a human being? Because according to your story, you invested all you have and quit your job.
You can still be a crypto or btc investor without quiting your job, except you are a full time trader but your story says otherwise, anyways, glad btc has made an impact postively on your life, hope you can pass it on to others.
I was still under my parents looking for how to build a good home for my future wife and unborn children then that made me to took such risk which my mother was aware about the journey. My mother was my backbone then that feed me through out that 3 years, because she is a type of person that is happy for child progress that made me to invested all I have at that moment into Bitcoin.  The reason why I quit the motorcycle delivery job is because the risk is too high for me to continue with that amount I was receiving from the company, because people used to sustain permanent injury that will make they not to do any job in life . For me to be able to sustain from that 3 years, it was the help of my lovely mother who understood my mission that if I make it in life it will be the glory of the family.

And the question still remains why would you quit a job that paid you $300/month and rely on your mother's generosity when you were able to save up $10,000 from the same amount?
If I were in your shoes,  I won't quit my job I will keep the job as well as invest, nurture my investment to some extent before quiting. Anyways, good for you to have such supportive parents, you should cherish her.

219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Hail The Queen! An Outlook Into UK's Crypto Ownership and NFTs Market. on: September 09, 2022, 03:45:49 PM
I don't see this having any impact on crypto community, at least not negatively, the world is mourning the queen's demise and should not concern crypto except for the NFT space where scammers are being so despicable at a time like this, taking advantage of this huge loss to profit with their fake shitty creation. It is very sad.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Scam Tokens in the name of late Queen Elizabeth on: September 09, 2022, 02:21:56 PM
Waw! scammers don't waste any time at all it seems, it is not even up to 24 hours since the queen's death was announced and already there are several shittokens in her name! who will be so dumb enough to buy such shittokens anyways?
This is one aspect where decentralization is not so good, anyone can just create any fake project to scam people, I hope people will be smart enough to avoid any project with the late queens name.
