161  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: About crypto? on: October 15, 2022, 06:43:24 PM
how to earn crypto apart from following the bounty. because it is currently difficult to get crypto from bounty or airdrop results. does anyone know how?

You are a full member by rank and you are coming to this boad to ask this question. I think you should move it to beginners and help or rather to Altcoins Discussion. Bounty and airdrop is a waste of time.

Regarding your questions, there are other services in the forum which you can find here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0
Also, you could be a lender in the forum, visit this thread for more information on lending: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=65.0

And imagine a newbie knows so much about the forum than a full member!
@OP hope you can take the advice of the above member and try to provide other services to earn, if you feel bounty and airdrop are no longer providing the opportunity to earn.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you choose cryptocurrency as full time job? on: October 14, 2022, 09:46:34 PM
We are in a world people desire to work in oil company, banking firm and while others choose to in different organizations been a corporate office jobs just to answer am working in so so company, but can you choose crypto as full time corporate job?
I'm not really sure how to answer this but yes you can example like working on exchange or writting some blog or making video about crypto, The other way was working as Blockchain developer on some sector like Oil, Market, Food, etc and also being a lawyer or even marketing on some blockchain-based company

You already have the answer to your own question. But o can also confirm it to be yes, many people have a crypto full time job nowadays and work remotely and comfortably more than other regular jobs.
I will be highly happy to secure a full time crypto job because it will give you apple time dor yourself. Gone where the days when people only rely on regular or offline jobs.
163  Economy / Economics / Re: The whole tipping culture in western countries is unfair and totally wrong! on: October 14, 2022, 07:39:59 PM
The biggest difference is, if someone does a bad job at any other business, they would be either fired, or warned, or just ignored, but in any job that you are required to get a tip to survive, if you do a bad job, or if the customer is cheap, you are going to end up starving because you are not getting paid enough. That’s the thing, in my nation we have tipping too, it's not as "culture" as it is in the USA for example, and the guy who gets it, gets paid the same amount that 20%+ of our nation does, and that means any guy at a factory making your shirt is getting the same money.

West needs to realize that you can't have a job in the world that says "you either do a good job and good tips, or you are going hungry to bed tonight", that’s not acceptable.

I won't consider myself having a job when my earnings will solely rely on people's generosity and not because I have worked for the money and deserve to be paid. What happens if majority are facing economic crisis and decided to go tipping-less Huh I will be left barely nothing because others are suffering. I honestly don't know why this should be allowed is an advanced country like the United States because it seem like explanation on both customers and workers who have to survive on tips.
164  Economy / Economics / Re: Global recession alarm, safe money on: October 13, 2022, 08:32:19 PM
If your investment is in a solid project, moving into another is not an option since the market won't stay down for a lifetime. Although you might want to have a planB incase of any unforseen circumstances.  In this case, diversifying to other assets will be good, especially the less volatile ones to keep your funds safe. You can also decide to keep 90% of your funds on stablecoins until the bear market is over, and don't forget you can stake to earn passively.
165  Other / Off-topic / Re: WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE, YOU DON'T NEED. on: October 13, 2022, 06:37:02 PM
What you don't have you don't need because you can't afford it and not because you are contended and it also doesn't stop you from working towards having that thing.
Human wants are insatiable, we always wish to have more, it is in human nature so don't expect anything less because people will always work towards satisfying their needs.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metaverse is the future on: October 12, 2022, 06:25:50 PM
New trends are coming and you need to learn and adapt to them fast, I believe metaverse have a very good future ahead of us, be careful when choosing your next metaverse projects and make sure the teams are not here to toy with investors and end up not delivering anything.

Founders and Developers of the projects must be talented no matter how much money they have or how much ambitions they got.

They gotta have the talent to pull it off and also they gotta have the financial resources to make it happen.

I am not here to tell you when to buy or which projects to buy, I am only saying you should make sure metaverse projects are part of your next crypto portfolio.

I like your enthusiasm about metaverse and I believe many people will have enough time to regret not buying some of the potential ones out there.
Blockchain and the crypto space is big enough to harbour any type of niche or hype (whatever is suitable) and metaverse, nft is one that will play a huge role as we progress.
No doubt there are many shit fake projects pretending to be metaverse, nft but if you can also try hard to identify the ones with potential and long-term goal.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we deserve to have bitcoin on: October 12, 2022, 06:16:45 PM
Anybody who owns btc will disagree with your statement, they will tell you they are as deserving as any other small btc holder out there.
They are the pioneer of btc and took a risk when many people who didn't.
Actually your frustration should not be on the early adopters but on your situation for not able to buy even at this current price. If you are buoyant enough to buy, you won't even bother about what others own.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Reason why online wallets are hack on: October 11, 2022, 04:13:50 PM
And one major mistakes some people make with online wallet is not bookmarking the original site rather they will use Google anytime they want to visit the wallet site in which the user may end up clicking a phishing site unknowingly.
This often happens to those who are hunting for free airdrop, giveaways, they don't mind connecting their wallet to any site as long as they can get free tokens, nft.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new Projects are bad, So take the Risk on: October 11, 2022, 04:01:52 PM
In a way  you are right, not all  new project are out to scam investors but since the majority always end up to no good, is the reason why it is heavily emphasize on. New projects have a high probability of scamming investors than already existing projects with track records.
The risk is high but if you are willing to take that risk, you can be lucky sometimes.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: The whole tipping culture in western countries is unfair and totally wrong! on: October 10, 2022, 03:36:52 PM
so.  lets try something else.

Pizza delivery driver.   95% of these people use there own car own gas own insurance 100% there own risk.

Most dont even get a salary.  Accident rate among pizza drivers is high due to the nature of the job.

They get to pay for their own gas, oil change which is about once a month due to the very high mileage  brakes tires ball joints tie rods most of that is once a year, brakes twice.  If they live in snowy regions then add Winter tires to that added costs.

Pizza car maintenance is high.   Many don't bother and buy utter crap and drive it in to the ground.   Can be cheaper to replace crap car with another crap car then to fix them.  So they also get to spend time replacing the car.

Tip your fucking driver!  Be happy hes even working!   He might even be an asshole but he gets to deal with shitheads all day long on the road and at the door.  saying to him... but you got your delivery fee right?

Are you saying pizza delivery workers use their own personal vehicle and fuel it to do delivery for the company? I find it hard to believe. What happens if you don't have a personal vehicle? Does that mean you will not be able to work as a delivery service since the company won't provide it.
Why would anyone take up such job just for tips that may not account for what you spend doing the job. That's absurd.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A painter received $50 worth of bitcoin on June 2013. on: October 10, 2022, 01:51:58 PM
The interesting thing about this story is the painter agreed to accept btc for her work as early 2013, btc was not so popular back then and most people were not into btc acceptance.
But this painter did not mind the mode of payment which turned out to be a big blessing. I wonder if she still hold on to her btc.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: This move saved millions of dollars but there is a catch on: October 09, 2022, 06:13:12 PM
A Huge respect for CZ of Binance exchange, I never knew that a blockchain project can be frozen that fast to stop the hackers who tried to steal 2M BNB worth 570M, by the way isn't that centralised and more vulnerable to government bans?

Bitcoin won my vote for life as it can never be paused this effortlessly and hastily. At the same time CZ saves the day, again. Around of applause 👏 for this smart leader.

And there is also a catch, from a centralized perspective, cz was able to react quickly but assuming it was a decentralized scenario who would react?
Besides, not every centralized hack the result was positive, cz and Binance just displayed a level of capability which many similar exchange don't poses yet.
Their timely response reduce the intended damage.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit coins era is going to end on: October 09, 2022, 06:06:51 PM
This bear market plays a huge role on many of these shitcoins existence. It may look like many of them have phased out due to lack of volume but the moment there is a reversal in the overall market,  more shitcoins will be created.
Even the most solid projects are not finding it easy during this bear market let alone shitcoins that are solely base on hype and nothing else.
174  Economy / Economics / Re: We should separate the markets for Bitcoin* and centralized altcoins on: October 08, 2022, 06:55:09 PM
The main focus of sites like cmc is to provide a platform that house every coins/tokens that exist in blockchain for people seeking such information to access them in one place.
Maybe in the case of exchanges they can try to separate them but this will only be useful to certain number of people (probably the well informed minds) but for the average Joe's who are the majority may not really care much about such details.
175  Economy / Economics / Re: Unemployment Rate FELL, But why is the market going DOWN too?? on: October 08, 2022, 06:30:16 PM
Hello guys,

Yesterday, October 7 at 12.30 (GMT Time), the US government announced that the unemployment rate had fallen to 3.5% from 3.7% in the previous month.

And that's good news, because it signals that the economy is getting better, with lots of job openings.

But why is the market responding negatively? because when the news was announced, a few minutes later the price of BTC actually dropped by about 3%

Good news for who? Dose this percentage applies to the whole world?
That unemployment rate fell by 0.2% in USA does no mean the same in other countries so don't expect immediate positive impact because other countries are still battling with unemployment rate and since crypto is a currency that has the support of people from all around the world, it is likely others are not yet experiencing this improvement.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Namibia Now Accepts Bitcoin As Payment on: October 07, 2022, 06:02:26 PM
is Namibia including the plains of Africa, if true maybe it's true that the plains of Africa are currently widely adopting bitcoin there and that in some countries there are also starting to adopt bitcoin, so even though this is interesting news but it doesn't have an effect on the current bitcoin price , we need more good news to come to make the bitcoin price even more, but your efforts to share this news are worth appreciating

I think accepting as indicated in the OP and adoption is quite different.
Namibia 🇳🇦 is part of Africa and by accepting btc it means the government have decided to loss their earlier strict policy against crypto possession. Right the citizens of Namibia can freely accept btc and other crypto without any fear according to the above information.
This is good news, there is always a beginning.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 90% of bitcoin is owned by 2% of user base on: October 07, 2022, 05:53:41 PM
It is true that the whales are in control of the market but it is not clear if they control up to 90% of current supply. The original intent of btc still stays the same the only thing that change is the people interacting with it.
Btc was not created for the whales only,   they have the large amount today because they were early and have the funds to accumulate.
Anyone can still buy as much btc as they want as long as they can afford it.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea Reportedly Freezes Do Kwon's Crypto Worth $40M — Luna Founder Says t on: October 06, 2022, 08:45:17 PM
Who would have thought the founder of tera luna, a project many crypto enthusiasts hold in high esteem will turned out to be a scammer and an outlaw. This is pretty messed up.
If this assets that gotten frozen truly belong the Do Kwon what will the authorities do with it? Between I think this is just a tiny part of what that criminal successfully squeeze from crypto investors who trusted him.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just Passing Through and saw this on: October 06, 2022, 08:24:52 PM
I was traveling passing through this and that was incredible to see that how people still believe in cryptocurrency and also Bitcoin.
https://imgur.com/a/0fHso6P

Many people have just started noticing and accepting btc and there are more that have not come to terms with this yet. So don't expect anything less than more recognition, because no other assets is as great as btc, it is making life easy for many through different means.
More business are accepting btc daily because they have realised how fast growing and evolving the tech is. It is inevitable.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most of the Tokens are traded on small Exchanges, Is it Good or Scam on: October 05, 2022, 05:08:24 PM
They are not necessarily scams, some projects start to trade in small exchanges to gain some volume and other requirements from big exchanges, and in most cases, some small projects don't have the required listing fees to pay big exchanges to list their newly launched project, so they find solace in small exchange temporary.

IMO, I think it is better to start from a small exchange before listing into a big exchange when you have maintained a decent trading volume and active community. Some projects after spending all their money to list on big exchange in the beginning will end up delisted as a result of not being able to meet up will the required volume.
