361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Crypto Winter on: June 14, 2022, 02:29:30 PM
It’s just simply impossible to where we will end up after all of this bleeding stops. I’m not sure that any charts with support and what not will keep anyone from continuing to sell. When there’s blood in the markets people tend to panic sell regardless of technicals and fundamentals.

And it amazes me how people are selling at this time, if people don't sell the market will not bleed. i thought it is period like this investors should look forward to buy btc at cheap price, or the intention is to send the price even lower to buy at a very low price.
When btc was hovering around 28/29k i thought it may not go below that price, i see the sell pressure is high, If only people will stop panic sell, but am sure they will also panic buy back when the time comes.

363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna 2.0 keeps falling on: June 10, 2022, 05:15:27 PM
"once bitten, twice shy" the first luna was already a huge lesson for many investors if only they listen to the voice of reason. A lot of people were very outspoken about luna 2.0, how it is a bad idea and not wise for investors to support it.
After reading so many opinions online,  I don't think this project is worth throwing money on,  what is the guarantee that Do Kwon won't pull a similar stunt when this new luna have gained investors' trust and the price is high? So far, his approach to handling the situation is questionable.
Luna is not the only good project out there, it is foolish to loss money on it for a second time.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earning in a bear market on: June 10, 2022, 10:56:47 AM
Hi everyone, since the bear market is upon us is there any kind of staking that's good for a bear market or staking are generally bad in this type of market condition? Can be APY or APR, drop your earning strategy in this market condition.

One thing i would like to say is be careful with all those project promising high apy, it is not sustainable, they give such high apy to attract users to their platform but after few weeks they will drop the apy drastically without prior notice. i have had such experience with a project am staking, the team keep dropping the apy with different excuse they can come up with. staking is good to earn passively and also increase the amount of the token you hold but you have to look for a project that has stable apy not the type that constantly change their apy because it can affect your earnings.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Optimism got hit hard on: June 09, 2022, 02:46:58 PM
Now I am confused, Optimism token that looks like a good one to hold for long term has been hacked and this caused a 20 million dollars tokens stolen, the more I plan to grab some.new projects the scary it keeps getting, I mean what's all these for a new project like Optimism .

Hackers are not planning to take a break either, the airdrop was just few days ago if am not mistaken and already got hacked with 20 million stolen! Can't believe how this hackers are determined to cause havoc. 20m is a huge amount which can affect the growth of the project or possibly render it useless if not handled properly. I hope the authority will be able to do something to catch the perpetrators, this is not a good news at all.  Sad
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I saved myself from missing a Presentation with Bitcoin on: June 09, 2022, 08:48:32 AM
Interesting story, it seems more members are having btc unexpected bail out this days. it is good to know how btc awareness have grown, even the people you think may not have any clue what btc is will surprise you.
I like the idea of having a btc ride, you can have a printed btc logo on the car which will even make it more attractive and spread the word of BTC
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's talk about your next crypto portfolio for 2025 on: June 08, 2022, 06:03:08 AM
When is a good time to start buying altcoins? Is bitcoin ever going to 25,000$ in the coming weeks? How do you plan to start building your portfolio for the next bull market? Is now a good time to start buying?.

That's what many people are predicting, that btc will go lower. I guess we will all have to exercise patience and see what happens in the coming weeks. There are different opinions regarding how low the price will go, some predict as low as 8k but who knows what is the truth.
I would say now is a good time to build your 2025 portfolio but with the thought that btc can dip lower and alts can go even lower, it will be best to wait a bit, but then again these are all speculations btc can do the opposite and everyone will miss out on buying the dip.
The best case scenario is to split your investment funds, buy some now and buy more if the market goes lower. This way you don't miss out on buying when the price was down.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your opinions about fan tokens? I'm thinking to invest in them on: June 08, 2022, 05:46:38 AM
My suggestion will be to buy bnb and hold, this bear market shows how resilient bnb is, it is a coin with strong utility and great demand with a periodic burn. But the choice is yours if you want to go buy some fan tokens, I don't hold any and I don't know what is their importance to the club they represent, are they in any way used in these clubs online or offline to generate value to the tokens!
If you want to take a chance it will be better not to invest too much on it imo.
369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first gas station to accept Bitcoin in my region on: June 07, 2022, 06:42:41 PM
Isn't this something! It is clear that btc adoption is in progress, it may not be as rapid as some may expect but we are heading there.
It gives a certain kind of joy to see something you believe and support online in use in the actual world (especially when it has received so much negativity).  Am glad to see this, it shows people will embrace btc eventually but will take some time. I hope to see more businesses accepting btc.
370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal allows users to withdraw Bitcoin to external wallets on: June 07, 2022, 06:32:56 PM
In the end, PayPal listened to the customer's demand and do what was necessary. When the news of PayPal accepting btc was first published this was the concern of the majority of the BTC community, but now it is no longer an issue, PayPal users are at liberty to either keep or withdraw their btc to a personal wallet, it is up to them. I hope users will be wise enough to do the right thing. Good update.
371  Economy / Economics / Re: Uncertanity and fear in economics and clarity how to stay calm on: June 06, 2022, 07:05:38 PM
Such a long post will very little sense, @op is just going in circle trying to make a point. The reality is no matter how strong a country is it will face an economic crisis regardless of having a great strategy to want to tackle every problem as it emerged.
Russia is not stupid to launch a nuclear attack without thinking about the backlash. The economy is already bad for every part of the world and doing that will only worsen the situation not just for the target country but for other countries because of the economic relationship.
And quit associating the market drop solely because of the war, or have you forgotten this is a circle that usually occurs at certain intervals.
372  Economy / Economics / Re: Crashes are The Best Times to Get Rich - Robert Kiyosaki on: June 06, 2022, 06:48:45 PM
And the market has made it possible once again to buy btc at a cheap price, crashes are always good for those who understand the long-term goal. Mr. Robert Kiyosaki is absolutely right, what better time to buy if not now, people often complain when btc price is soaring high that it is too high for them to get in, here is an opportunity but I bet many people won't take advantage. They are waiting for the bottom even though it is not easy to know the bottom.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Price Up & Down is normal be patient All Crypto Holders on: June 05, 2022, 10:13:36 AM
The main problem why some people can't make good profits from crypto is lack of patience, some people think 2024 like a very long time coming. The same thing I said back in 2018 but between 2018 and 2021 btc price went up a lot more than we expected.
All you need to do as a holder is just leave your asset in your own personal wallet. Patience is key in every investment otherwise there won't be a positive outcome.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategies to save money on ETH gas fees? on: June 05, 2022, 10:02:37 AM
This may sound like stupid idea but this is the reality, just move the coin and tokens where it has to be like to exchanges if have the intention of trading or move to the wallet for holding.

You have completely missed the point, for you to move the tokens to exchange you need to pay a transaction fee and that is the issue of discussion. How can you move those tokens to an exchange paying the lowest fee possible with the current high transaction fee on the eth network!
The only way about it is by using an off-chain scaling solution like optimism or just waiting patiently for the network to decongest for the gas to reduce or completely avoid eth transaction (which will be difficult if you have erc20 tokens)
375  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the golden rule of investment? on: June 04, 2022, 03:34:51 AM
In the end, we should always remember to tell 'NFA' so we don't hold ourselves accountable for what may happen in the future. When crypto is in the bull season it is easy for people to think they made the right decision but when the bear season approaches, the regret for not selling or for investing at all becomes visible.
It is very important people understand the risk and the rule of investment, once you understand both, you will be prepared for whatever the outcome will be.
376  Economy / Economics / Re: Stable coin can solve poverty on: June 04, 2022, 03:12:48 AM
~I believe bitcoin will solve the poverty in the future, that's why digital currency was created and if we continue to adopt it will surely be the answer we are waiting for.

Only when btc has been legalized worldwide, generally accepted as a legal tender, not being measured by fiat value.
But as long as btc fiat value is being speculated on, people are more interested in the profitability rather than the actual core value as an alternative payment option, price is still very volatile, it won't be able to fulfill that goal.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SQUID2 good to invest ? possible X10 increase ? on: June 03, 2022, 06:18:33 PM
And the funny part is this shit project will have people investing in it risking their funds for a total scam project despite knowing what happened with the first squid project.
Well, if some people are determined to throw away money there is little or nothing you can do to convince them otherwise. @op it is your money your choice. But before you do take a moment to read all comments even if you can't do research.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More SOL outages = Price dump on: June 03, 2022, 06:08:44 PM
Seems no blockchain is 100% sound after all.sol was so praised by many crypto enthusiasts that will be a shame the network is facing such a mess and the dev are currently helpless. I hope they find a way around this because it won't be good to see another top alts crumble.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone explain what is the value of meme coins? on: June 02, 2022, 02:26:41 PM
Just like the name imply, meme coins are fun coins that have no strong utility to back them for long term sustainability. meme coins or project are mostly short term investment (if you get lucky you can make a huge sum withing a short period) but they are not for long term investment.
@op if you consider investing in any of the meme coins available in the market, remember they are for short term and anything can happen with the project and you may end up losing your investment.
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paid the birth fee using bitcoin at the clinic, by accident. on: June 02, 2022, 02:11:31 PM
Congrats bro, i say this is a divine intervention, i think your newly born don't want his daddy to stress too much about payment hence the coincidence, i believe things happen for a reason.
I am happy that everything went smoothly, glad that both mother and child are in sound health. it is nice to know that the btc awareness is spreading and people you would not have thought knew about it are already involved.
The name of your new born is a great name. Congrats once again.
