lol it's just odd
Looks like this account was basically created to attack Coinpoker.

If you have anything concrete against them, then you should articulate it well and post it in the appropriate section, and if you have suggestions that can help them improve, post it nicely. But here you are just sounding like someone who is upset and wants to ruin their reputation for little or no reasons.
3  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How can I identify a scammer using Bitcoin or crypto to scammer people on: June 06, 2024, 02:42:57 PM
So if I may ask, how can we identify this kind of fraudsters?
Take every unsolicited message, either requiring you to click a link, invest/deposit money in any platform, etc, as a scam, until you can prove that it is not. If you have that consciousness and eliminate greed from your mind, it'd be hard for you to fall victim to scammers.

That being said, it is advisable that you keep your assets offline, you can go for a hardware wallet, so that if you get unlucky and scammers come manage hack your device, dem no go fit steal your money, as e no dey online.

Should Manchester United keep Erik Ten Hag?

3 cup finals, two domestic trophies + a top 4 finish under his belt, but he also managed the worst Premier League campaign in the history of Man United.
The only reason the United hierarchy can keep Erik Ten Hag is because of the sheer number of injuries he had last season, his argument would be that if he had a fully fit squad, or at least if most of his players were fit for a major part of the season, then he would have competed better. He would also argue that he has won two trophies in two seasons, and the big trophy (EPL title) is somewhere along the line.

The dilemma now for the hierarchy at United is that Ten Hag has just one year left on his contract, so if they are going to give him another season, it means they trust him and then they have to extend his contract.
5  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How to avoid bitcoins and other crypto fraud on: June 06, 2024, 09:40:29 AM

6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you really want from gambling? on: June 05, 2024, 09:33:38 PM
I like gambling to test my sports prediction skills and see if i get lucky and win some money, of course i am obviously not trying to get rich through gambling, and that fact is clear from the amount of money i stake. Gambling on football matches sets me in the mood to enjoy most games of the season, and there is also a fun side of it, because losing is insignificant as the money lost is small, i also noticed that whenever i try to increase my stake, i become too careful and all the fun is lost.

3. Be highly suspicious of anyone who cold-contacts you by direct messaage, email, etc.
Yes, quite a lot of people have fallen for this and lost their hard earned money in the process, if you be person wey dey use Telegram well well, you have to be careful about this.

Them go contact you with an account bearing a beautiful woman's picture, dem go tell you about a new kind of investment that you can make money from, if you put your money, dem fit allow you withdraw am the first time, with small ROI, so you go trust them and invest with a larger sum. The moment you do that, them go seize the money, come dey ask you to deposit more money, so you go dey able to withdraw the one that's stuck in their platform.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you ignore/resist cheating to secure a winning bet? on: June 04, 2024, 02:43:23 PM
So if you are one of the specified fun gamblers, can you resist cheating opportunity and just rely your winning on your own ability?
It is wrong and unethical to cheat, be it in a casino or in any other platform/place; it does not matter why you gamble, even if you think you are not gambling for fun, it does not give you the right to cheat. Gambling for fun means you know you are not trying to get rich through gambling and thus you are not going to do anything crazy, it does not mean the person does not care about their winnings, they do, but they aren't going to gambling with a crazy amount of money.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to pitch a Bitcoin investment idea and gain backings? on: June 04, 2024, 11:44:10 AM
I doubt that.
I had a look at the Job opportunities the crypto Industry spread out after covid.
Similar to banks I'd say.
What job opportunities are you talking about, the crypto industry does not put out job opportunities per se, it is crypto projects that look to hire people with certain skills to work for them. That being said, how does that relate to what we are discussing here and how does it make you doubt what i wrote in my first post here?
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to pitch a Bitcoin investment idea and gain backings? on: June 03, 2024, 09:17:51 PM
Is it possible for a potential investor (without funds but with a good idea and a great proposal for investors), to pitch a Bitcoin investment idea to a group of friends and family and companies, with projections of good profit but with their invested funds, to gain backings?
Things are a little bit different in the crypto industry, if it were to be your business idea or startup, you have a clear goal and you are working towards it, but you need funding from people who have the money. If they like your idea, they might put their money to make your idea work and also earn them ROI. But remember that in this case, the success somewhat depends on you and how good your idea is.

That being said, what kind of "bitcoin investment idea" are you talking about in this case, do you want to advise people to buy bitcoin, that isn't something you'd want to do with something as volatile as bitcoin that you do not/cannot control its price movement. So what investment advice is it that you are talking about?

E make sense wella to take privacy very seriously oh, even as our government don dey attack cryptocurrencies, make person dey very careful with their personal information, so you no go turn scapegoat wey dem don dey find for sometime now.

If you dey follow people talk well well, you go discover say some of dem no believe say the loss of privacy fit bring trouble come for them in this industry, they believe that if dem no be criminals, then dem no get anything to dey hide. That one na big lie, e get many ways wey e go fit affect you and i dey happy say many people don dey sabi the truth and this topic go help more people.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Q3 - Influencers - transparency, real x fake balance, their amounts... on: June 03, 2024, 08:42:52 PM
It is on this forum that i get most of the casino that i gamble in, it is easier for me to go through their ANN thread, check their site out and ask questions (if any), directly to their representative on the forum.
1) Do you care whether the influencer is playing with their own money? ("fake balance" x "real balance")
For people who like to get new casinos from these streamers, then this would matter to them, but only if the streamer is going to show deposits and withdrawal, and for that they need to do it with their real balance and definitely not a fake one.
3) Is the amount of money the infulencer plays with important to you? ($500 x $50k)
It should not IMO, because whatsoever the streamer does should not be enough reason for you to trust the casino immediately. You should also DYOR about the casino and check if there are previous complaints against them.

15  Economy / Reputation / Re: Innovative Bitget Shilling [Compliation] on: June 01, 2024, 11:23:37 PM
I am not sure how many of you have noticed this, but I have seen many threads created by newbies and Jr.Members for a while with innovative ways to shill the name Bitget, which is a relatively new exchange.
Is it? It was established in 2018, not so new.
Many more can be added here...
Late last year, Nutildah created a thread about this behavior: what's up with all the Bitget shills?, and tagged some of these shillers, you can find more names in that topic. It is a very bad behaviour and since they are paying newbies/Jr members for this, they wouldn't mind if they are tagged or if their posts are removed, they'd just continue doing what they are paid to do.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kicking/banning and or limiting a player for winning too much on: June 01, 2024, 11:07:02 PM
Now, I just want to ask us, if you own a casino, and a particularly customer is always winning, winning and winning, would you kick/ban the customer, or limit him or her?
And why please?

Why do casinos limit or ban a user when he or she is winning too much, but do not do the same when the user is losing too much as well?
When you're winning, the casino is losing, when you are losing, the casino is winning.

The thing is, they wouldn't limit you if you just win a couple of games, but if you are staking high amounts and winning continuously on the spin, they have no choice but to limit you to a certain amount, that way they reduce your payout if you win and their losses in the process. That being said, if you break any of their rules, you're going to be banned and the next action your friend took is against their rules, so he can't have too many complaints.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Donate $100 the day bitcoin hits $100k. on: June 01, 2024, 10:32:45 PM
I don't know why this topic is in the Speculation section, though i don't know the board it particularly fits in. By the way, this is not a bad initiative, and i am pretty sure there are a whole lot of us here that donates money to the poor and to the less privileged, without making it public, it is great if you are the source of even one person's smile, so if you have it within your means to do something like what the OP proposes, then do not hesitate at all.
18  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Move your coins from NairaEx on: June 01, 2024, 10:21:03 PM
The NairaEx problem has been goin on for sometime now, and the rate of complaints on their Twitter page was too many that they had no option than to Lock it to hide their scam activities.
I just checked the internet to find reviews about this exchange, and it is safe to say that it is a scam, there are so many complaints, not just the ones from a few months ago, but some as way back as 2 or more years ago.

I haven't heard about this exchange until i saw this thread and i can see that they have a physical headquarters in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun state, i don't know if some of these victims have visited their HQ, and what the response was, i can't find any info on that yet.

20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please be careful when you download anti-virus on: May 30, 2024, 10:12:04 AM
So now it begs the question that if we are in crypto space, we should really be alert on everything we click and downloaded, even anti-virus software because we could be trick by going into this kind of websites and we thought that we are safe.
Yes, and that is why it is advisable not to trust/rely on anti virus softwares to completely protect your assets from malwares/viruses, but you should protect your asset by keeping it offline, in a hardware wallet.
And also that we are about to hit the bull run, the cyber criminals activity are ramping up their activity against us. So be very very careful everyone.
Cybercriminals are always around, in any period in the market. Thus it is imperative to adhere to all the necessary safety measures that has been discussed endlessly in this forum, if your keys are online, any small mistake can be costly, but when they are offline, the risk is greatly reduced.
