261  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't trust your old wallet of when u had no Crypto knowledge on: February 19, 2024, 02:47:50 PM
Well honestly all my wallets(more than six) has been hacked as i saved phrase in Gmail where hackers got access.
Sorry you had to lose your money to these hacks, but at least you learnt an invlauable lesson not to keep your seed phrase online, and that includes your email account, once your email account is hacked, your money in your wallet would be stolen. You should only make offline backups.
One thing I practice most times for security is that, I try as possible not to use the same wallet for a long time, because creating a new online wallet is easy.
Doing this does not increase your security, i think you should move your money to a new wallet if think you have made a mistake that can possibly lead to your wallet being compromised, other than that, if you are using your wallet safely, there is no need to change it regularly.

Now, if Manchester City manages to win the postponed match against Brentford then the points gap between the top 3 teams will only be 1 each. Liverpool still leads 1 point ahead of Manchester City, as well as Manchester City and Arsenal. The pressure between the teams is increasing, it will be a very interesting season.
Very interesting, to say the least, it is obviously now a three horse race between City, Arsenal and Liverpool. City have a must win game against Brentford on Tuesday, they have to win that game to stay firmly in the title race. City's form against the big teams have been far from impressive and they have to improve on that before their second leg games against Liverpool and Arsenal.

Having said that, Pep and City deserve an awful amount of credit for their consistency, having won the EPL three times in a row, they still have the determination to go again and challenge for their fourth consecutive title. Whatever happens this season, they can definitely hold their head high, even though i still believe they will be champions again.
263  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A little ignorance and you can lose all your holdings on: February 18, 2024, 03:59:38 PM
It is pertinent to have more than one backup of your wallet, if one of your flashdrives goes bad, you have another one to fall back to, you must also have your seed phrase on paper in addition to your flashdrive back up. Under no circumstance should your drive containing your Bitcoins ever get into the hands of a third party.
I believe he didn't know that the safest way to store Bitcoin was through the Hardware wallets because if he had chosen to store his holdings via a hardware wallet, there's no fucking way he would have been this unfortunate.
A person who can take their flashdrive containing a large amount of BTC to a data recovery person can obviously use a hardware wallet and still somehow lose their seed phrase stored on paper or mistakenly show it to someone else.
264  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed doesn't have rescue plan neither other central banks on: February 18, 2024, 03:14:14 PM
A lot people become poor and a lot banks will lose customers money companies will foreclose and a lot clients funds will disapere, insurance companies not going to have enough funds either.
Even if banks don't fail and lose your money, the value of whatever you keep in the bank is devaluing as inflation gets higher and the economic situation gets worse. Of course there are currencies that are strong and countries that have a healthy economy, like the U.S. dollar and the U.S. economy respectively, but the fiat currencies of many countries is not worth storing in the bank these days, you'd watch your savings lose value everyday.
Your only wealth are the crypto in your wallet the gold in your home or Silver and cash in your pocket anything else can just disapere and nobody to blame on this.
Crypto is a general term that includes altcoins, and i don't trust majority of altcoins, they are mostly centralized and can also disappear. If your coins is stored in Bitcoin and you have control over it (not that you store it in an exchange), then you can expect your funds to appreciate in value overtime and definitely not depreciate.
265  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics Are down now it's time print money but not the old ways new ways on: February 18, 2024, 02:53:32 PM
It is pretty hard to understand what your point is, but printing money out of thin air creates inflation, just like when different governments were printing money during the Covid period and using most of it for stumulus payments. This kind of printing is sure to create inflation, because it is basically for consumption and nothing else, and that is why inflation is somewhat of a global issue right now, due to the government policies and decisions of a few years ago.
So this time no stimulus for people but instead of that goverments together with some hedge funds and wall street can give people what they need like food and housing.
Isn't this another type of stumulus, in form of palliative packages, and the money for these packages have to come from somewhere, won't it?

Another big game that City have failed to win in the EPL this season, they have not been doing too well against the big teams this season and that is prolly something that Pep must set right. The first leg against Chelsea ended 4-4, the reverse fixture this evening ended 1-1, two very unexpected results, and i must commend Chelsea, nobody gave them a chance in either fixtures and they proved a point by not losing any of their games against City.

Having said that, i know City fans are very disappointed, but this is not the end of the world for them, they are still close to the summit and have a game in hand, but they just cannot drop too many points from now on.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 16, 2024, 05:33:58 PM
We are only halfway through the first leg of this round. Next week there are some really attracting games such as Inter - Atletico Madrid and Napoli - Barcelona.
These are really tough games, i think the both of them are the toughest games of this RO16 and really difficult to predict; imo, they are both 50-50 games with no favorites. Inter Milan are in great form this season, they are on the summit in the Seria A and are above Juventus with 7 points, Atletico Madrid are not doing too well in the La Liga this season, but i still think the match is 50-50, and it will be decided on fine margins.

Having said that, Barcelona are struggling this season, likewise Napoli, and this is why i said there are no favorites in this one, any team can win, and if i am to predict, i would say Napoli would progress to the QF at the expense of Barcelona.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 16, 2024, 05:07:43 PM
I think even the fans of Chelsea don't expect to see their team winning the game against Manchester City, because recently Manchester City got better and they are having a much better performance than before especially after Kevin De Brunye got recovered and backed to the field to help his team. That's why maybe this can be a completely safe to bet on Manchester City for this match.
City are expected to win the game, they are the clear favorites; but in football there is always that small chance of an upset and thus i would not completely rule Chelsea out of the game, even though their chances of a victory is pretty slim. City are back to their best form and they are now on a winning run, whenever they start a winning run like this, it is so hard to stop them and Chelsea is the next team that stands in their way. The first leg was an entertaining 4-4 draw, but i don't think Chelsea would have as much joy as they did in the first leg.

Wetin you talk make sense wella, na better advice. Bull run don start for a long time now and after the halving happen ehn, the price go begin dey rise like mad, we dey make this prediction based on wetin we don see for previous cycles, the good thing wey dey this present period be say the SEC also approved Bitcoin spot ETF this year, and now see as price dey rise, even somewhat close to ATH, but halving never still happen.

Having said that, to buy Bitcoin now make sense like mad, but abeg make nobody go invest more than they fit afford to lose, no buy Bitcoin with money wey you wan use tidy one or two important things for real life, buy the one wey your power reach and protect your coins wella.
270  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Buying btc talk account on: February 16, 2024, 12:09:47 PM
Account buyers and sellers are not to be trusted and that's why they receive negative feedbacks whenever they are caught. Whilst you might successfully buy an account from an account seller, it might not be long before it is discovered that you are not the original owner of that account, and it would tagged as an account buyer. Mind you that there are also quite a lot of scammers pretending to be account sellers and they might scam you in the process, or maybe you are actually the scammer, but whichever it is, i don't wish you luck on this.

For me, it's a bit risky if PSG management thinks about replacing Mbappe with Osimhen because even though he has gotten big scores, I'm worried that Osimhen will experience a decline in performance and not be able to appear as strong as Mbappe.
Mbappe and Osimhen are both different type of footballers, Osimhen is more of an orthodox striker who is very lethal in the opposition box, whilst Mbappe has the speed and skills to play from the wings, rather than the middle, it would be great for PSG to sign a talent like Osimhen, but it would not be a like for like replacement for Mbappe.

Having said that, as regards Mbappe's future, it is possible there might be a shock when he announces his next club, i know that Real Madrid are in pole position to sign the French man, but anything can happen and one of the big clubs could come in and convince him to join them. The only problem might be salary/wages/bonuses, but like we can see already, what Madrid is offering him is way lower than what he earns right now in PSG, thus many of the big clubs can afford that, and it is now a battle of trying to convince him to join.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 15, 2024, 11:04:52 PM
It's really crazy seeing how the odd difference is between Manchester city and Chelsea this weekend. Manchester city has a very low odd of 1.32 and Chelsea has a staggering 7 odd which for me is really outrageous because Chelsea aren't good but I think Manchester city really found it difficult to win them at their last meeting although at that time Kevin de byrune wasn't available unlike now that he is back.
It is what it is, and the bookmakers know exactly what they are doing, i know the odds for a Chelsea win is somewhat tempting but i don't see any chance in hell of Chelsea winning that game. Talking about the first leg which was a 4-4 draw, i must admit that Chelsea performed above my expectations in that game, they took the game to City and got a point, which was no more than they deserved. Having said that, this reverse fixture is at the Etihad, where City are really comfortable and know how to win, thay are also on a winning run, which i expect to continue. Anyway if you think Chelsea has a chance, you can put some of your money on it. Wink
273  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Why Security first before acquiring bitcoin on: February 15, 2024, 10:57:33 PM
you  also need to use hardware wallet to secure your private keys,
The thing be say hardware wallet na offline wallet, so your keys go dey offline and if e dey offline e mean say e go dey hard for attacker to get am, but you go fit still fuck up if you dey use hardware wallet, and that is if you go lost your seed phrase wey you back up, or if another eyes go see am. Mind you say you fit also turn your electrum wallet to offline wallet and that one na if you get old device wey you no dey use, you fit turn am to airgapped device and e go dey keep your keys offline for you.
Bitcoin security is so strong
You no lie say Bitcoin network dey secure oh, but the thing be say, na you go secure the Bitcoin wey dey your own wallet.

I have the same feeling as you if Bayern Munich fails then Tuchel's career at Bayern will be threatened.
Or maybe they will choose another candidate instead of Tuchel.
Bayern Munich is such a big club with a very rich history in football; elimination in the CL RO16 to an opponent like Lazio is definitely unacceptable and if it happens this season, then there is a 9 out of 10 chance that Tuchel will be fired immediately. I was considering Bayern Munich to be one of the top contenders to win the CL this season, but right now i don't think they are at that sort of level to do so, they definitely cannot defeat City, thus at this point in time, i think it is either City will successfully defend their title or Real Madrid will win it, this is my feeling right now.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find and hold in Atlcoin effectively? on: February 15, 2024, 08:57:27 PM
This is my process for finding an Altcoin (new project) for long-term investment
It is almost impossible to find new altcoins for long term investments, altcoins are generally short term projects, and that's most especially the new projects that lack any utility. I am afraid that one can go through all the steps you mentioned in your OP and still end up buying a scam/worthless project and that's because it is pretty difficult to find a new project that is sustainable for the long term.

Having said that, because of the lack of utility in altcoins, i buy only Bitcoin, but if i must advise people on altcoins, i'd tell them to purchase altcoins that have been in the market for sometime and already have a "strong" community.
276  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reminder of possible fake app download on application stores on: February 15, 2024, 08:39:12 PM
Quite a lot of people think it is safe downloading wallet and crypto applications from App store, these people believe that scam and phishing applications can only be downloaded in Google playstore, but that is not correct, it is very possible to download scam applications from App store and lose your money through them.
now it's clear that they don't care, watch your back yourselves, don't use their platforms to find your next apps.[/b]
There is a process before apps are listed/published in their platforms, but the process is not enough to weed out all scam applications, quite a lot of them still get listed, thus do not count on the security of these platforms, verify and download your applications from their original websites.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 15, 2024, 03:48:27 PM
Lazio is leading the aggregate with 1 goal against bayern. it was advantage for the second leg.
Of course it is advantage to Lazio going into the second leg of this tie, and with how inconsistent Bayern have been this season, absolutely anything can happen. Bayern Munich were obviously the favorites in this tie when the draw was made, but that advantage has shifted to the Italian side and now they have a chance of causing a huge upset.

Having said that, the good thing for Bayern is that this second leg is in the Allianz Arena, with their fans, so Lazio have a lot of work to do if they are going to go through. I don't think it is possible that Bayern won't score a goal at home, so Lazio must adopt a positive and attacking approach and try to score a goal themselves, if they are going to have a chance to win this game.
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 15, 2024, 03:18:01 PM
And one more news that excites me, would be the replacement of David Moyes with Graham Potter, he'd do a good job or if possible they should sack Sean Dyche for him! The Toffees sinking below.
I don't see any reason why West Ham would sack David Moyes and replace him with Graham Potter, i know West Ham were beaten heavily by Arsenal (6-0), but they are 8th on the table right now, coupled with the European success that David Moyes achieved with the club last season, thus i think it might just be too early to sack him right now, because they are in no crisis yet.

Having said that, Sean Dyche helped Everton escape relegation last season, i don't think Graham Potter is a manager who can do that, thus even if Everton want a change of manager, i don't think Graham Potter would be the right option.
279  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC TOUCHED $50K TODAY. BULL RUN IS HERE? on: February 14, 2024, 05:07:54 PM
I just got a notification of BTC touching $50k. Is this the sign that the bull run is close?
The bull run already started a long time ago, some people don't believe it is a bull run until the price is close to or surpasses the previous all time high, but if you look at things closely, you'd understand that Bitcoin price has been out of the bear and sideway market for sometime now and has been steadily rising, which many of us call the bull run. The bull run will continue well after the halving and that is when we can see Bitcoin go above the $100k mark, which has been the most talked about prediction in the market, for this cycle.
280  Economy / Economics / Re: My life plan for wealth and btc good idea on: February 14, 2024, 04:19:34 PM
All i need Are one good person who actually knows btc prices so all i need is just to know btc price.
When i buy low sell high and same time i load up alt coins so i make huge money.
Lol, if it was that easy, everyone would be rich, and the people you expect to teach you would be so rich that they would never waste their time teaching you about this. Nobody actually knows how the BTC price is going to move, especially when it is in the short term, people can only speculate but they cannot exactly tell you what Bitcoin's price movement is going to be. Having said that, you can learn about trading yourself, but the chances of you becoming rich through it is slim, there are a lot of risks in it, and losses as well.
