Not a question a 'sensibility'. Tell this to moderators so, if some posts do not suit them maybe they should just 'blacklist people'.

Our graceful moderator cannot ban people from this thread. And some of these trolls have been here from the start anyway. No use banning them, as it's easy enough to make new accounts. We have the ignore button for those cases.

Up and down, over 600$ in 5 minutes. Roller coaster time. Buckle up!

Hot amazing girl
Twenty seventh of July
Always stay with me

This isn't about bitcoin, but it could be construed as a minimalistic love song  Wink

Here is one for your bucket list:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandragora_(genus)

I was offered once & out of fear declined. DMT sounds interesting. Definitely on my list.

#
My advice re mandragora: don't mess around with those nasty plants and their tropane alkaloids. They're dangerous and not even any fun, no matter what high tales the literary scamster Don Juan tells about them. DMT is in a different league, and mostly harmless to begin with.

Its damn slow
So the blockchain doesn't grow out of control, and almost anyone can run their node. Verify, don't trust. Want to run an Ethereum node? Good luck syncing.

Quote
when adapted it has massive expensive TX fees
If you want to buy coffee, there are a few L2 services (Lightning Network) amd more will come. Main chain bitcoin transactions are bound to be for largish movements only, more so the more btc price appreciates. Because bitcoin has value that other shitcoins don't.

Quote
and Bitcoin CO2 Print is worse.
Only because it has value, so miner competition is hard: the CO2 print is proportional to the hash rate. And most most figures you find on the web about bitcoin's CO2 print are out of this world.

Quote
Beeing the First dont need to be the best.
That's your only valid point. There's no logical obligation to be the best, but it can happen, can't it? The way I see it: most of the shitcoins created after BTC were designed with the specific purpose of making a fortune for the creators. Bitcoin wasn't.

Quote
Why Can older members just say ok there are many shitcoins. But maybe one or another is ok ?
Thats what I am talking about

What I am talking about is: give me an alt coin with a use case not covered by BTC, and maybe we can discuss about it. In the ALT SECTION.

Trying to turn innocent beginners into shitcoiners is not fair.

Royal "we"?
Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I would suggest above modifications to make more in-line with actual "we"

It could be said that you seem to lean as a preference to prose, in the preferential sense, as opposed to poetry, even if
said poetry should in the form of a haiku, which appears to be a short form of poetry, but nevertheless you probably prefer prose, with probability in the 65.4% ballpark.

The below modifications might be more in line with the JJG we know.

Why work the ladder?
Hookers, lambo, blow. The world?
Don't give a ratt's ass.

Oops. A WOT style post came out. Sorry. It's a hat gang thing.

2392  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] The Official Troll Poll: Vote for Bitcointalk's Biggest Troll! on: July 25, 2019, 11:15:50 AM
No point in nominating Roach: he's already sure to make it into the list. Gembitz is a nuisance, but rising to real trolling seems to be too far above his head. Long gone members (NLC, Stolfi, etc.) also make no sense as nominations. Proudhon is still active, but his recent, infrequent posts border on autoirony. This would disqualify him as a troll at present.

Therefore, I nominate alevlaslo and jonoiv. Each in his own way, they have that kind of obtuse single-mindedness that elevates a nuisance to troll material.

I smell small scale short stop hunting going on. This could mean strong moves incoming (down). Seat belts, gentlemen?

I am sure that there are plenty of govt peeps who sufficiently know what bitcoin is too, and likely some of them are already participating in these kinds of bitcoin and crypto threads and perhaps even trying to influence the direction of our discussions to the extent possible... Shit, I've been outed.

You guys are missing the point.

The real threat is compulsory KYC / AML for crypto providers.

The question is what is a “crypto provider”.  If the Fed tried to make github accounts “crypto providers” then we may have a challenge.

Watch this space.

Mainly it boils down to filling our bags before big brother shit hits the fan. BTFD.

He'll make a new account anyway. We had our fun (well I did as well as a few others), but now he's getting noisy, whiney and annoying. Best option is to let his posts drown in a sea of silence.
