That's not what it says, I believe That's the gist of my question indeed. All the (few and not too informative) sources I found only mention USDC and look hopefully at USDT. Good for "crypto", yes. I guess we should let that seep in. Our blockchain, though, is truly public, permissionless etc. It is THE blockchain. Different league. Different value. But if all you care for is nominal amount stability (interbank settlement), go back and look at USDC etc. At least, while settlements are denominated in USD or other fiat

https://twitter.com/jerallaire/status/13462331323962572821/ Breaking major news from US Treasury OCC, the largest US banking regulator (@USOCC), with new guidance allowing US banks to use public blockchains and dollar stablecoins as a settlement infrastructure in the US financial system.
3/ The new interpretive letter establishes that banks can treat public chains as infrastructure similar to SWIFT, ACH and FedWire, and stablecoins like USDC as electronic stored value. The significance of this can’t be understated.
5/ We are on a path towards all major economic activity being executed on-chain. It is tremendous to see such forward thinking support from the largest regulator of national banks in the United States.
... trains, helicopters and rockets memes here as non-US banks and jurisdictions chase the white rabbit Mnuchin just pulled from Uncle Sam's hat ... What is meant here by "public blockchains"? Permissionless, untrusted? (Can't find a good source yet.)

@AlcoHoDL
Hodl tight man. If you haven't seen bad symptoms yet, you likely won't. When it's bad, it's usually immediately bad. This pattern of yours hit two of my friends (one in her early 40s, the other in his late 50s). Both were out of it in just over one week, plus of course some time to get back to full baseline.
EDIT - No muscle/joint pain? That was the worst of the "light" symptoms apart from head splitting headaches. My older friend, a former athlete, said he'd never felt anything like that muscle pain, even in post-traumatic conditions.

If you don't like taxes you should indeed move, to a country with bad roads, a bad justice system and bad healthcare. Good luck with that.
I tried to live in a place with no taxes and they tried to kill me for it. No roads, no justice system, no healthcare. It was wonderful. And +1 WOsMerit for someone with his mouth and his money (and his ass, if I might speak French) locked in the same place.

My wife who battled Covid for 65 days before she cleared the infection did a lot of kneeling downward dog. while I struck her along her back. What a degenerate bitcoiner. You can't stop drawing TA lines approximating your poor wife's back even when she's doing yoga. Seriously, glad she came out of it. Be safe, both of you!

-snip- "Of course you're free to do as you please. Bitcoiners say 'Have fun staying poor' "
Tell her that her fiat wealth is losing value at about -10%/year due to inflation, and tell her to calculate in her head how long it will take for her to be half as poor as she is today. If she can do simple math, it will scare the absolute shit out of her. If she can't do simple math, then she's too much of a simp normie to save herself. She can do simple math. Particularly about inflation she's well aware of the 10+% thing. That's why she keeps looking for some magic bullet stock. That's why I felt I had to at least hint at btc. Some people can't be helped, but there might be hope for her. She's just a bit slow in changing point of view, maybe. Good luck to her.
