1362  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Twin Bitfury USB miner on: December 16, 2013, 02:29:42 PM
Link ?? ;-)

On the Canadian page, the stupid BFL 5-6GH are running for $600 so I'm guessing this get's close.
Need to buy two motherboards. so want some money back as I doubt I'll use this.
1363  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: December 16, 2013, 02:18:52 PM
Yes, that's basically the idea, running a mining farm for my friends, family and I.

I fully understand were Black Arrow is coming from and I wouldn't cause no confusion for them at all.  I will be running these miners from my place and sharing profit to others (friends/family).  I have fairly good experience in electronics, computers, networking and mining as I've been mining since early August with BFL and October with KNC miners, and haven't any issues with either of them yet.  Rest assured that your mining equipment are in good hands and will be looked after like they are my babies  Kiss  Wink

If you or Black Arrow what my resume to see what experience I have up my sleeve you would most probably be impressed.  No joke  Shocked Cool

Every one should relax as this really isn't a group buy as you know it.  Sheeeesh...  I should have kept my mouth shut.

I work in customer service in the oil industry, and once customers that know you will bend and adjust to them, there is always that one that wants you to drop your pants and bend over backwards for them. After a while you have to put policys in place. (No cancellations, no group buys)

Its not your order that is complicated, its the guy after you who buys 20 of them for 15 people and when they tell him thats not allowed, he tells them "well merv77 did a group buy and black arrow was find with it" Hence, the policys they have in place.

He's not running a group buy, having investors back your purchase, and a group buy are two completely different situations. I'm doing something similar, people are giving me money for a ROI. and group buy who wants 20 should be told this. Getting investor's is NOT against the TOS FYI.

Chill out.
1364  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / GPU mining rig question. on: December 16, 2013, 02:12:07 PM
If one were to run the Gigabyte 990FXA-UD7 motherboard, and wanted a powerful cpu ready to run 6 gpu's, but also able to be used for gaming at a later date, what would the best choice be? Smiley Not breakt he bank but worthy enough that said machine with two video card's would be a solid rig after.

Also If were planning to run the R9 290X, 6, would dual 1200 watt PSU be enough? not finding much on the running draw of these.

Thanks for the help Smiley
1365  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 6 gpu add2psu configuration on: December 16, 2013, 02:10:28 PM
If the Add2psu is a gimick what's the best option to trip it on? Smiley

1366  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] OpenRigs.com - Aluminium Frames for Mining Rigs on: December 16, 2013, 06:40:23 AM
Would love pics of the grid setup?
If you guys are this slow to fabricate, why are you not prebuilding at this point?
1367  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [FS] All aluminum open air cases (now sized for 20-inch box fan mounting) on: December 16, 2013, 03:45:10 AM
Most high end PSUs are top fan built, would mounting on their side not be a better idea?
Stacking them like this would restrict flow wouldn't it?

I'd like to buy one of these, double stack (for two mother board set's.

And the leg's for the fan. When your ready to sell again please let me know!!
1368  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: KnC Neptune PRE-ORDERS SALE orders available on: December 16, 2013, 03:27:07 AM
Wrong section, and your English... My god, my brain burns.

Proof, details etc.?

1371  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Mining on $5K on: December 16, 2013, 01:06:50 AM
Black arrow is a fairly solid choice, they provided last time and seem on the ball this time. Minesource.net is a reseller who will sell the x-1, could buy a bunch, they would also be a much easier resell at markup on ebay.
1372  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: December 15, 2013, 11:47:24 PM
I wanted to buy just 1 Prospero X-1 and it only wants me to buy 10 of them minimum. Sigh...

Normally when jumping into a thread you should read the last few pages. at least once a page you are told to use a reseller, BA is busy enough. handing a few thousand single order's is crazy.
1373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / WTB LTC Mining Hardware on: December 15, 2013, 11:23:53 PM
Looking to getting into mining LTC and other Alt's

I'm looking for an established builder, preferably in Canada, who can build a rack mount rig to pull 4GH or better per unit.

Please post here or pm who/how and who.  Have some investor's here wanting to sink cash into these unit's to be hosted here.

I'd rather buy a prebuilt and tested rig. thus far I'm looking at the DZ Mining Coop's 4MHs machines.

Thank You, PM me if you wish. If your Canadian even better!
1374  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GB]Terraminer IV #6 , 0.4 BTC=67GH/s 30/30 shares on: December 15, 2013, 10:12:50 PM
I'm considering this group buy, may I suggest using ghash.io shareholder payout feature or another method for more regular payments?

We have tried and looked at several autopayment systems, but are building one inhouse and is almost complete.

Will have a look though, thank you for the suggestion

Cheers

Soniq,
Will this in house auto payment system be implemented for Jupiter GB you are currently managing, as to get away from irregular and ad-hoc payments currently in place?

We are patiently waiting...

Yes it is, and if it were not for personal problems with my developer it would be already done. I am as disappointed and upset as you are that this is not complete. But my hands are tied at the moment.

This sort of software would be great for many people. Even general user's. Say you want to save 20% of your BTC to an offline wallet, this could auto distribute the funds to when you need them. Hope it's done at a % rate, so one can share 100 shares of something.

Please make this public/forsale!
1375  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Limited Open]R17x: Black Arrow Prospero X-3 <DZMC Exclusive> $130 / 40GHS on: December 15, 2013, 09:57:45 PM
This was either BA doing proper paperwork and number crunching... Or a great way for DZ to sell a crap tonne Wink

I am down for 100 Share's so I'm happy.

If this work's I'll be in on every future DZ mining Group buy. To a point where we've created a local Canadian Co-op dealing in cash to buy DZ share's. Excited this work's.

Let's go BA set a new standard!!
1376  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: WHAT! :( Butterfly Lads won't deliver the Monarch Till March or April:( on: December 15, 2013, 09:43:14 PM
If you were dumb enough to buy from BFL, without googling the name. You deserve to loose everything.

Sorry, always risk in mining gear, I've got $12 grand in Black Arrow, But they delivered last time. So this is a risk I was willing to take.

BFL could of drove a van to my door step with unit's in the back of the van. offered me 2TH for $500 on the spot, 20 second delivvery, and I'd still not expect to get product for 6-9 months.

I can't believe these guys are still getting sale's. I don't blame them. I'm sure they are making a fortune lmao. But the fact people are still buying.. Shame on you guys!
1377  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: December 15, 2013, 09:37:10 PM
No,

Why the X-1, X-3 come's enclosed, saves you wire management.
Although I gather the x-1 is simply a case with 20 x-1's? But not sure what's done internally.
1378  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: December 15, 2013, 09:33:00 PM
I'm in the process of looking for a better switch, Also into bringing in a second Internet provider as a buackup. but this may seem more difficult than what I would save.

Does anyone make a switch able to pull from two Modems? using both or one as backup? Or would we be talking thousands in investment Smiley

Also looking to buy a 10-20kW Propane generator Wink
1379  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: btc-e: Huge F*ck-up "Insufficient funds on MT4 account" Bug on: December 15, 2013, 09:04:36 PM
You realize this is not in fact a btc-e help forum right? Yelling at us to fix it won't help your cause.

Anyone at this point who relies on BTC-E doing anything NOW is bound to get screwed.
1380  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone uses bits2bills? on: December 15, 2013, 08:59:29 PM
http://bits2bills.com/

Anyone used it? Is it trustworthy?

No but that's a really cool service if it's legit.
