Located in canada.
Not graded.
I've never opened the case since getting it 3 years ago.

I'm fine with an escrow we both can settle on.
Would prefer to keep it in canada or the usa.

2.6 btc obo.

544  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: June 02, 2016, 05:47:07 AM
That's a hell of a gamble
With the current used prices of the S7, I can't see buying the S9, power is only at 6 cents for me..

Had they come in closer to 1600 I'd of bought out my 5.
545  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner on: May 31, 2016, 10:30:21 PM
With the halving coming. This is a tuff one to swallow.
Sure it produces 3.5x the TH as the S&, at nearly the same consumption, but it's also 4.25x the initial cost. and that's assuming the S7 doesnt go on a fire sale, plus the cost of used ones is dropping.

I'm tempted.
But I need to know the noise level, I'd buy one as a basement dehumidifier, maybe.

550  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Is anybody selling bitcoin for PayPal? I'll pay over preev.com rate by 3%. on: March 22, 2016, 10:26:43 PM
If you can do 10%, you've got yourself a deal Grin

You have to put this in the PayPal comment -

"This payment was sent for bitcoin. Any attempt I make to refund this is illegitimate, and any dispute is therefore lost."

If they claim hacked account, your little comment idea means nothing.
Unless you have a verified tracking number to the account holders verified address, you have absolutely ZERO chance of winning a chargeback or fraud accusation.

Wow.  Big companies chasing bubbles.  The red flags are waiving in clear sight now.

Agreed.  I'm waiting to see actual pictures of an SP50 hashing.
Never going to see prices on vaporware..

Also very possible for them to have blocked it from connecting.
As they are likely aware and don't want people doing exactly this.
557  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BITMAIN Antminer S3 support and OverClocking thread on: March 19, 2016, 04:41:16 PM
I've got them where I'm happy,
I'm using them as a basement space heater, so consumption isn't my big concern.

I have S7's located elsewhere, power is 7.5 cents CAD where I live, so cheap, maybe 5.7 cents usd? but int he summer, it get's hot. so colocated until winter Smiley

I have one with 4 pci, and am using the EVGA 1300watt.
two of the video power cables had duel output's, so one miner is running wirh 4 plugs.

All seems good now Smiley

Just wish I could find an updated miner monitor so I don't keep multiple tabs open
558  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BITMAIN Antminer S3 support and OverClocking thread on: March 18, 2016, 07:29:37 PM
Hello,
I just got 3 used S3+ and they are coming in pretty low.
I puttied into one and set it to the 250 setting, and it's pulling around 430

What's the best setting for these?

I'm using them for heat in the basement. so Efficiency is not my top concern.

Thanks.

I hope you have a good psu and connect all 4 PCIe cables to the miner?
Look at the status page maybe the reason is of several "x" between the "o" because of the high setting after some minutes
Did you make a (soft)reboot after the changes?

Soft reboot yes, but I'm only running two connectors, maybe that's the issue?
no X's and its a high grade evga 1300 watt psu, plenty of power.

I may need to buy some pci splitters, and this doesnt have enough lines for all 12 conectors...
