And now that these are all gone and the 31's are next in line...Can you drop any info about the time line of the 3rd gen???
I personally have been holding my bankroll to see whats next and when it will happen.

Agreed, let's stick to plug and play rack mount, I'm excited to buy the new gen ASAP!

As for providing 4 x 120VAC plugs... get a 30amp 220 plug, or unplug your dyer Tongue lol

Has anyone found a 120mm fan they put on the other end of these and find it helps at all? although sucking is one option, I'd think a two fan approach would drive even more airflow?

why do you need more air flow?  are you looking to run this at 1600gh+  ?

Thinking more for noise, and cooler is always better if I can get it down.

What screws fit the holes on the top and bottom of the SP20, I was wanting to secure them on install.

Thank You

Anyone know where I can get the screws for the outside of the sp20?
I'd like to secure them to my racks. And the holes are perfect for it.

728  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: February 16, 2015, 10:42:38 PM
If that is pretty normal for something that states its 1.7 thats pretty crappy, i have even upgraded to the new firmware so a little disappointing

Yeah I was really upset to hear that, sort of fake advertising..

736  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] - Toronto/Montreal - Spondoolies-Tech SP31 units, shipped from colocation on: February 16, 2015, 06:29:51 AM
still looking for some buyers!

maybe i would take 1.  I am in the usa do i get access to a log in if I keep it in canada and let you host it.

if I run the miner at 3600 setting and it uses 1900 watts I pay 200 a month to host it?

I will check whats possible - I know remote access is available (I use it), but have to check if its available for singular-unit owners as im not familiar with the details.

its around $110-115 cad/kw/mos IIRC, so 190-200 USD for 1900W (wall) sounds right.

I'm very tempted. PayPal?
Maybe save shipping and put some cables in the box as well for me? Hmm

738  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Server Power Supply Interface Board - for standalone miners and GPU rigs on: February 15, 2015, 09:32:59 PM
I've only seen one maker of my.psu and it was way more.cumbersome than I'd like.
739  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Server Power Supply Interface Board - for standalone miners and GPU rigs on: February 15, 2015, 06:41:37 PM
Factored in some loss yes.
was thinking of going with 6 awg just to make it easier and for fudge factor.

The issue being, properly soldering a 6 awg wire to a plastic plug...
740  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Server Power Supply Interface Board - for standalone miners and GPU rigs on: February 15, 2015, 06:37:39 PM

Well, I was planning to mount the PSUs a meter or two from the miner's, so having less wirer would be best.
I was thinking of running 8AWG from the psu to beside the miner than breaking out with smaller terminal boards.  .....

And what is stopping you from doing that now? That you got the 32A terminal blocks does not mean you have to use them on the connector! I know it looks neat, but it is not the only practial way to achieve what you want.
Of-course, nearly everyone's setup is different, but if I were in your position, all I'd do was to solder the 8AWG wires onto the connectors and use the terminal blocks on the other end of the 8AWG wires to break out to the rigs ..... or am I over simplifying this one ? !

PS. I hope those 8AWG's are copper wires ..... and you've factored in the 1-2 meter resistance they introduce to the circuit, thus the output the other end.

Likely my only option, just not the best.option.
