583  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [lee group]1980$! the sales of first batch hosted antminer s7(psu included) on: December 07, 2015, 09:23:00 PM
i was looking for 10 of these, but with the cost of hosting it doesnt make sense. approx $90 / month each eats up about 1/3 of the profit and makes roi 7 months at best, but with difficulty rising so fast it could more likely be a lot longer. Unit price is excellent but hosting price isnt. Not sure when they will allow you to ship them home to yourself. as of right now they are only allowing hosting purchases.

What about just having him ship them to you?  He does allow it.  Although I don't recall if I read that he requires a few months of hosting first.

Really it all depends on what your home electric costs.
584  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: December 01, 2015, 04:08:46 AM
So are we calling them dead? A whole lot of speculation, and Spon has been pretty damn silent about all this?
585  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [lee group]1980$! the sales of first batch hosted antminer s7(psu included) on: November 29, 2015, 11:04:48 PM
Maybe i use the wrong word, future option.
it is only a contract for the miner shipped on 20th Jan 2016 that we just signed with bitmain. The miner is new s7@4.73T, 1300w. The price is 1150$ for each unit plus another 100$ for a 1300w golden psu. The customer need pay 20% pre-order fee(230$) before 10th Dec 2015 and pay the rest 80% miner fee (920$) and 100$ psu fee(total 1020$) on 18th-20th Jan 2016. The miner will be online on 27th Jan 2016. if there is any delay we will compensate mining earning.
The host fee for this s7 is 0.1*24*1.3= 3.12$ each miner each day.

S7 miner

Hashrate: 4.73T
Power consumption: 1300 watt
Price :1250$
Daily Host fee:3.12$
Online time: 27th Jan 2016

The customer  need to pay 230$ pre-paid fee before 10th Dec 2015.

this is your latest batch than? We have until 10 dec to put 230 down per machine?
what guarantee's do you offer for start date etc. if bitmain delays?
I'm very interested in 2 of these!

Meh,
Managed to fill loan request through friend outside of the forum.
No longer needed.
Thanks

Collateral= something the lender can sell for at least 110% the amount of loan, so no you'll not get this loan. Most likely you'll end up with negative feedbacks if you don't lock this thread in 5 mins.

I've asked what they want for collateral, and seriously, giving neg rep due to lack of posted collateral is a joke, does anyone take those negative trusts seriously?
If nothing can be worked out, than nothing get's worked out.

I'm not a newbie asking for a loan.
588  Economy / Lending / Wanting to borrow 5BTC for 1week on: November 28, 2015, 04:59:59 PM
Loan Filled. Thanks for looking.

Good day.

I run a local BTM in winnipeg, have been on site for 2 years.
I'm in the process of pushing up my float sizes, and while I work at that I'm also advertising more of our Buy feature, which can now be done remotely to our machine.
http://www.bitteller.ca/?page_id=54

To do this I need a larger BTC float.
It is kept in BTC and only used by the machine for doing trades while waiting for the new Bitcoin to come in.

I'd like to borrow for 1 week. we can discuss interest rates.
and will pay back the BTC in one week+interest.
Or longer if we can negotiate for this.

Not sure what collateral is needed or what you would like to see,
I'm fully verified on BTCJam.

PM me with questions or interest.

Thanks

How is everyone finding this service? I'm tempted to buy in for a few miners. Would like to hear how people are enjoying it.

Here's the general idea of it
A large part I do now with excel, but automated is key!

I run a Bitcoin BTM.
And am looking to expand the float funds onthe machine to make life easier on running it.

I'm after an investment type website, custom built.

I'd like for something that allows:
> A person to sign on and invest a CAD amount in bitcoin.
> My ATM will use said funds as a float,
> The site will track my ATM sales through email messages and payout on a regular basis a % of the profit to each investor based on the % they invested.
> Allow investor to accumulate profits (leave them in the investment, growing their investment size)
> Track the stats, and balance the payouts.

The basic math for it will be:
> If 5k investments met on site in total across all investors is met, the site pay's out 25% of the machines daily profit.
> If 10k is met, pays out 35%
> If 15k is met, it pays out 45%
> Or something along those lines. preferably with variable amounts I can set from admin page. No actual limit.

No limit on number of investors, and they would be able to pull their investment at any time given 24hrs notice, with some sort of 2FA, even if it's a physical confirmation from me.
Everything paid out in BTC, investments sent in BTC, but all balances tracked in CAD using Quadriga rate.

Payouts would be based off the amount of invested capital as a total, which gives how much the site is paying out of the profits, than that amount is paid out to investors based on their % of the overall investment.

This is something a friend and I came up with tonight, sort of as an easy way to increase the float on the ATM, as well as a social experiment. As the investors can come and go, invest more of less, all based on what they feel is worth it.

If you think you could code a site like this that I could host on my server under a sub domain please pm me with a est. price.
Agreed upon price will be held in full by a trusted escrow until agreed upon site is working.
other features to be added as I figure them out.

And I'm unsure if it can be arranged for the site to auto manage the withdrawals and payouts, or If It would track the numbers and I would send the payments. (unsure which security wise is safer)
But would prefer a single BTC address for this, and have the site run the coin split portion.

Thanks for your time.

Looks pretty interesting.  If I was Canadians I would give this more thought.
Well the Canadian dollar is just being used as the fiat basis, since that's what I am trading in.
But the site coder, and investors can be global, as the investing, and payouts are all done through BTC.

598  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Data Center Quality 800Watt PSU + Breaker board for under $60 USD inc ship on: August 24, 2015, 03:30:47 AM
not if you have access to a stove or dryer Tongue but I won't get into that,
actually if you can find two separate plugs on different phases in the same room you can do it too Cheesy

All current power supplies will run on 240, and the efficiency goes up. so it's worth the upgrade even for a PC psu.
