802  Bitcoin / Hardware / AntMiner S3's, 12 of them, All over the place? on: February 06, 2015, 03:51:32 AM
I'm running 12, anywhere from 400 to 470GHash?

Are they known for being so wild, is there something I should look into?

10 are presently colaocated, awaiting delivery, but are supposed to be all S3+?

Thanks

804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: cryptoGlance :: Open-source, self-hosted, multi-rig monitoring tool with more! on: January 26, 2015, 02:17:46 AM
Red dot with an ! means there is a dangerous amount of hardware errors. This threshold is controlled in the Settings.

As for access with the android app, you need to port forward from to your internal machine. This is different across all modems and routers, but it's fairly easy to set up. It helps if you make the IP address of the machine CryptoGlance is installed on to a Static IP, this way you won't need to update your port-forward rules when a new IP is assigned.

We can set up something to explain the settings, a legend possibly. Be sure to read the README via the Help menu

I input my Primsa ip, as well as tried my antminer s3, neither was picked up?

And n support for Slushes. Such a wicked looking app though!
805  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Miner monitor/control software? on: January 26, 2015, 02:13:37 AM

808  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Miner monitor/control software? on: January 23, 2015, 09:43:27 PM
I presently have 2, soon to be 12, antminer s3.

The gui is great, but monitoring 12 of the things... pain in the ass Smiley

Is there a program or way to manage and monitor them from one page?
Has anyone built this yet?

Thanks

I'm still a little iffy on what changing owners of an account on eBay implies.
I'm actually more worried about pointing it to a new paypal.

That is a subset of what I just said. Same issues we are talking about.

813  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor wittle miners taking their ball and going home on: January 19, 2015, 03:52:59 AM
Who says miners are losing money? Any proof of that? Once they've bought their ASICs, electricity's cost is very low. They are making less money, that's right, but there's no sign any miner is actually losing money from its daily operation.

Very simple calculation: Electricity per month: 21'000.
Coins per month: 78
Price per coin: 200
Revenue: 15600
Loss: 5400

Price per coin: 300
Revenue: 23400
Profit: 2400

So why should I accumulate a monthly loss of 5400 at the moment?

And just as a reminder: The costs for the hardware and maintanance is NOT included here...

You pay to much for power, or your using ancient hardware
