1541  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Garr255/Werner - Auction shilling on: June 21, 2013, 09:20:32 AM
Wow, I never thought this forum of all other would have such attitude towards auction shilling.

Please explain to me - why the hell not? If I want to buy something, I know the price I'm willing to pay and that's it. If it goes up beyond that for a tiniest bit, in fair or fixed way - I will never buy it.

I admit, I'm new too this marketplace/economics atmosphere, but this seems logical enough for me.

I'm selling some stuff on ebay, which goes in ~5 hours.

If someone helps me by bidding price from 10$ to ~15$ will receive 0.005BTC
If noone buys that in the end, and you are the winner you will still get your BTC
I want to sell the item for at least 16 $, if anyone has better strategy would be glad to hear it out fast

I'm often fucked up by some buyer with high reserved price and that annoys me like hell

http://r.ebay.com/LESAlF

I also have another item http://r.ebay.com/6zLkxc ends in 3 hours. Anyone bidding from 15.50 to 16 or 16.50 will get 0.0025 BTC. You dont have to overbid that one, just raise last bidder a little.

please post here, and not in PM

why does his links look different?

If you share your link via mail, twitter and etc, ebay shortens it

While at it I also must say that eBay auction system could see some improvements.

1st - no automated bidding or reserve prices and maximum bidding.
2nd - no last minute bidding. If someone bids at the end of the auction - auction is prolonged by the amount of time, chosen by owner of the item, ie 10 minutes.
3nd - could set price increments.

Kinda like, when on yahoo answers I've posted a black joke "where would you hide your wife's body, if someone knocked at your door (police)". (I've seen similar or worse questions before, and noone removed them).

They deleted my account, my e-mail with all the messages and support told me to fuck off.

so if somebody else jumped off a cliff you would too?

That is sooooo way off the phrase meaning

EDIT: don't you find removing all associated accounts because of 1 joke a little bit too harsh?
1546  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [TASK] reward for helping me UP an auction on eBay on: June 21, 2013, 07:28:27 AM
Are you some kind of morality police you guys?

USA = world police
US residents in internet = moral chivalry

Ok, fine, I call it off, and will not pay anyone to rig my auction by a buck.
You win. Only way for eBay to notice this "felony" would be if someone ratted me out.

Next time, i'll bring someone local for this and that's all.

Altough I lost my freebit pretty fast, I must say this is the best dice roll website I've seen.

Interface is so smooth, it has chat, hotkeys and other stuff.

Definite recommend to all roll junkies.

I like you idea, but who visits those threads anyway?
Majority of people visiting those probably do not know how ignore button works.

1556  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beer for bitcoin on: June 20, 2013, 08:53:57 PM
More suitable business model - invent some solid, but easy to DIY miniBrewery, and send out blueprints and parts for near self-cost

And then sell some extra ingredients, something premium, like when they did beer in old times, from flowers and stuff, until hops were discovered.
Something like common heather, for viking mead and so on.
1557  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beer for bitcoin on: June 20, 2013, 08:49:12 PM
Imagine decentralized beer, running down the pipes all over the globe.
Pay by beer, can drink it as soon as there's 5 confirmations it's not a donkey piss.
There's your drip faucets for newbies, and camwhoring for beer.
Invest in a BSIC (Brewery Specialized in Instant Creation)

Wow, that's something new. Greaat idea, not without it's problems, but still!
1559  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bee population dying off on: June 20, 2013, 06:32:03 PM
If we ever see bee population DRASTICALLY drop - most governments will criminalize ALL pesticides, and everything will go back to normal.

I do not follow this topic much, but I think there was some temporary ban on certain pesticides in EU?
