Grin

1406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's Big Problem... on: July 22, 2013, 03:30:17 PM
nothing would propel bitcoin more than some sort of bitcoin ATM

Imagine atm which allows you to buy/sell bitcoin offers you to choose any exchange you would like, be it gox, or bitstamp.
As a bonus it lets you to do so either instantly at current price, or set your own bids/asks.
You would use a hardware wallet to login, if you like.
And it would accept/dispence fiat (or credit cards if you do not care for anonimity).

When you buy something you have to pay VAT

When you resell it to someone he has to pay VAT

When he resells it he has to pay VAT

So the item in question is bringing triple profits to the BIG guy. Also in my country there were some laws against manufacturers selling directly to end users. There has to be a middleman, owned by manufacturer or not, does not matter. So that item sells at least twice.

1410  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Spotify Premium - BTC pricing on: July 19, 2013, 11:06:28 AM
i had no ads also. I used website version, cause client lags a bit in comparison to website.

Also there's open source version of spotify without gui on the internetz.

We can use escrow if interested.

I was using spotify for free last month. I wonder what's changed? Have to check it tomorrow.

1415  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: DO you think RIPPLE HAS A BRIGHT FUTURE ?? on: July 18, 2013, 11:01:15 AM
As much as i hate it personally, and "people behind it" and the premining idea in general, I think it will survive. I would love to see that exchanges like bitstamp do not accept xrp, but that's me. Even these numerous altcoins have future.
1416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin address blacklist Database on: July 18, 2013, 10:34:03 AM
Voting can be rigged as well. Opinion of one community over another? Get a bunch of people to block some hoarder out of his money?

This idea is as dumb as it can possibly get.

Adresses should be nameless tools for us to use, not otherwise.

Edit: if you want a blacklist, not a ban of some sort - then you can simply make a website containing that blacklist.
1417  Other / Off-topic / Re: Check out my rig ;) Then guess how much it costed. on: July 18, 2013, 10:30:16 AM
To everyone who mocked me for buying it. I made a KILLING using this rack server to mine primecoins since the second it was released. Wink

Now that's some great timing.

Cheers.

I'm sorry I can't hear you over the Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo of your server

lawl, you made my day, greyhawk

on the topic: I would sure use one rig like that in the winter.

1420  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Want to buy old forum accounts on: July 18, 2013, 10:15:58 AM
Why? so you can scam people?

Maybe for advertising? I don't know.
Or because of the 6-min restriction between posts?

I don't think that it would be possible to scam anyone with a 2-months old account.

This newb account maybe just a proxy for some older account. And this purchase is needed for sockpuppeting  probably.

Or maybe some freebies/sig ads but noone would sell for that low.
