in the near future TSA will make you login to your wallet with a gun to year head (after knee capping you) to show them how many Bitcoins you have.
Then after you show them, they'll proceed to arrest you for not following TSA regulations

You do not have to declare funds you have on your credit card, now don't you?
902  Local / Новости / Re: А вот и M$ со своим skype... on: January 16, 2014, 06:21:33 PM
Лучше б с фейсбуками да вконтактами воевали чем со скайпом. Терпеть не могу соц сети.

И кого такое колышет - соц сети еще большие друзья прокуратуры чем скайп.
903  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 1 BTC stolen from BrainWallet due to weak key on: January 16, 2014, 01:26:51 PM
Very well, fixed.

the coins are already gone, what was your password?

Yeah, this post made me also curious.

This thread goes well in hand with multiple threads about address generating hacks, and brainwallet hacking competitions.

If you insist that you're not simply trolling, then please provide an example of "true 0% tax" country, so I can pack my suitcases.

R9 290X on: January 16, 2014, 01:02:24 PM

You should try harder when you're photoshopping something.

My 2 cents.
909  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Miners Boycot Ghash.io ! on: January 16, 2014, 12:22:32 PM
Wow! Where did this come from?
https://blockchain.info/pools?timespan=24hrs
Stopped mining btc a long time ago, when slush was like 20 to 30% of the pie.

Why the sudden growth?

EDIT: 0 fees? like - even no withdraw fees?
910  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people think income tax is ok? on: January 16, 2014, 12:15:51 PM
It's funny for me to listen about big tv's Smiley as I'm quite poor. Also that bit about "tax treshhold". The only tax threshold we have is under 0 EUR, lol.

As a kid, child, after your birth - you already have to purchase an ID/Passport. Which costs money. Which is taxed. You cannot be fed with simply water or air. Again - taxed. An etc.

You cannot avoid buying things without breaking the law. Therefore - you cannot avoid tax. And even if you're living on welfare or something, you still pay the tax. And other people pay tax so that you could pay yours. There's no country without a tax. You can skip on some taxes by being a "world citizen" (which is almost impossible to become) or changing your country every X months.

Try to renounce your citizenship, whichever country you may live in. It's impossible. They got you by the balls/vulva from your birth. Google "value of life" for some info on why we are a bunch of slaves, basically.
911  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CAN WE REAlly GET FREE Bitcoin? on: January 16, 2014, 12:07:06 PM
Iam very very new to bitcoin. Some friendsadvice me register  like freebitc4all.com or bitcoinz.com  or  primedice.com,I wonder can we really get free bitcoins from that places? Could you tell me what the best way is for new starter to get a very small amount ofbitcoins?

Best way to get "free" btc is to answer to newbie posts like yours with referral links. Just set up some blog with refferal links on multiple faucets sites, and browse newbie forums, like these guys do. You can get good amounts if you're fast.

Just saying Smiley
912  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people think income tax is ok? on: January 16, 2014, 11:57:07 AM
Taxation is voluntary. You're confused if you think you have no other option than to pay it. I suppose if you play a game of Monopoly you're forced to go to jail and pay fines, right? Yes, if you play the game, but nobody is forcing you, you can quit any time, nor do you even have to start playing the game in the first place, but if you want to keep arguing with me and 'pumping up my postcount' so be it. What's your reason for posting nonsense?

It's not voluntary. You buy something in the shop - you pay tax. You get your salary - you pay tax automatically. There's no option of not paying tax. Quitting the game = suicide? Smiley

Not starting the game = ? Self-abortion from inside the womb?

Another, completely opposite approach, would be to forget about taxes, and just pay for what you use + related projects tied to it (which you voted for).

For example:

You enjoy using the airport close to your home, you pay to maintain it each time you use it. But you also pay for a second related layer that all other users (including you) have decided to tie (by BTC-voting) to airport taxes. Such as space exploration, transport innovation, etc.

You are reassured by this excellent hospital in your vinicity, everytime you need to use it, you pay to maintain it, and also pay for related stuff (which you voted for), such as doctors in hostile zones, free medecines for poor people, etc.

You fancy that nice highway to get to your job quickly? You pay when you use it, and it covers both the price to maintain it, and also maintain/create new roads in the countryside, because you decided to vote for that related project.

I've always had similar thinking. I do not want my tax money to be spent on X Y an Z. We should have an online system, where people could distribute their tax money, at least 50% of that tax money. And the government should be LOBBYING YOU to distribute money to their liking.
913  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why so much hate for new coins? on: January 16, 2014, 11:42:51 AM

On a sidenote, any advice on how to calm the gf? Smiley

Cheers,
coolisbad

Make-up sex helps every time. Smiley Easier than actually deal with problems.

Calming camomile or mint tea, if sex is out of the picture.
914  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why so much hate for new coins? on: January 16, 2014, 11:32:57 AM
Because it's diluting investment in primary coins. Because it's diluting people attention. Also when it's something obviously retarded - then it's simply annoying.

The train of though "If there's a new coin, everyone will invest, and it will grow, so I should invest" should finally stop.

There are gambling sites for that matter. Do not remember the correct term, but it was something like a chest game or something.
915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: He should've used bitcoin. Idiot lol on: January 16, 2014, 11:14:50 AM
Just find some bums/3rd party, make them some accounts and make a wire transfer.

Less risky.

You'd have to get a bank account to rade for btc anyway, and 7 mil through local bitcoin is not feasible. Don't get me started on gold.
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Actual returns from 280x on: January 16, 2014, 11:08:02 AM
Hashrate calculators are actually quite correct depending on the pool. When I'm bored enough to check I get about 5-20% less then calculators estimate. It very hard to get good data if you're not keeping total record of your mining, including difficulty rise, pool luck and etc.
917  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie in mining on: January 16, 2014, 08:58:23 AM
The 280x only gives about 770 KH/s should i have 4 on my PC or should i use 290 or 290x?
The 290 seams to havê more hash power than the 280x.
In your opinion what is a good setup for a first rig, currently am mining with hd6970 andbi get 506 hash power and wanted to upgrade the PC what board men HDD etc...

r280x gives about ~715 with its 2000 stream processors

r290x gives about ~ 950? with its 2500 stream processors

in my region r290x is edit:(almost TWICE) more expensive for 25% increase :/ not worth it

919  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 3 7950's on a 850w PSU? on: January 16, 2014, 08:34:12 AM
I have a rig that's been running 7 months with 3x 7950s getting 1900kh total  on a hx750 psu pulling 700w from the wall

psus differ very much, despite the label. Some may even work above reported load for hours, while other die at 80%. There's usually a number on a label per each rail or set of connectors for MAX load.

920  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think any of the other "alt" currencies will overtake bitcoin? on: January 15, 2014, 01:13:48 PM
I agree with an earlier poster that once altcoins can be bought without converting to bitcoin first, things will change.`

There is absolutely no way anyone can predict whats going to happen with such a monumental paradigm shift in the way humans trade with each other, especially after using such a corrupt system from pretty much it's inception.

One scenario I don't think anyone has given any real thought to is the possibility of not just half a dozen, but literally 50,60 or even 100 currencies all co-existing together......worldwide. What currency some teenager uses 10 years from now could be based 100% on what his/her friends use or simply which logo appeals to them or any number of crazy reasons.

People might trade these 50, 60 coins on the same scale as today's "real" currencies are now.

I think it might be time for "Hello Kitty Coin"

Interesting point you make. Hello Kitty Coin is also a nice idea but what about trademarks? Otherwise could be made into playmoney for kids to but candy and stuff Smiley
