321  Other / Meta / Re: The Trust System on Bitcointalk SUCKS ! here is why ! on: May 11, 2018, 12:40:23 PM
Thats how big money businessman thinks, like you, why do they need escrow for a 10$ transaction while you already made deals that worth ++1000$, while not all people think and as rich as you. For some people, 10$ means much and maybe they cant afford to lose it and needed the money, so it is their right to make sure that they get the money.

My suggestion, dont underestimate small money and small customer. Sometimes small things can cost you big enough.
322  Other / Meta / Re: Please restrict the serious discussion board to members and above. on: May 11, 2018, 12:28:57 PM
I like your idea, because it is the serious discussion board, but i guess, even if they are a higher ranked members, spammer will always be a spammer, so restricting a board based on rank wont do much for them. Because you know, some of them maybe an account buyer.

We need something like a punishment if their post is reported by many people. Lets say, 1000 people reporting, then he/she is banned for 1 day, etc. Of course moderators or admin the one who will decide it is a spam or not.
323  Other / Meta / Re: Poor translation, random word generator or something else? Mod, please review. on: May 11, 2018, 08:12:59 AM
Good morning,

max6575 got a warning from DIW bounty manager for the last 3 weeks, his approved posts have been canceled. I hope this will make him think twice before posting another post like that.

Good. I think managers should really check on the posts of their participants. I know that being managers is hard and time consuming, but grading posts of the participants is one of the job list right? and it is one of the most important things in being manager besides getting paid.

I guess if you find more posts like this, help moderators to point out to this posts by clicking that report to moderator button. Bad english is acceptable as far as i know, but this is meaningless and beyond bad.
324  Other / Meta / Re: All About Merit. on: May 11, 2018, 05:36:25 AM
It is a right place to talk about merit. Since meta board is the place to talk about problem and other new things in forum, so it is okay to talk about merit in here, unless admin made a new board for merit specifically.

The problem is not merit. The problem is that people are not getting it that is why they think it is a problem, at least for their "getting money" problem.
325  Other / Meta / Re: Share your thoughts : sMerit Review, Rank-Up Challenge, Signatureless Campaign on: May 10, 2018, 08:14:34 PM
Personally, i would say that kind of thread you have made is a great thing and gives a lot of benefit to other people, and if i remember it correctly, i joined your service back then. I  voted for "it gives benefit" in this thread., but for this conflict, i think it is better if you still running your kind of thread in a suitable board like moderator said like Beginners and Help.

Last, sane people doesnt react to insane people talks. So let that digaran talks.
326  Economy / Services / Re: Yahoo62278 Sig & Avatar Campaign(High merit required)(OPEN) on: May 10, 2018, 07:48:18 PM
Hi Sir Yahoo62278, am I still applicable to join you campaign?
Still no update  Cry

Well i am not Yahoo62278, but if some managers dont respond to your application after they post something in the thread, i think you must take the hint he is busy now, or maybe doesnt need a member for now. Buut i guess the busy option is suitable for this case because Yahoo62278 managing a lot of campaign right now.
327  Other / Meta / Re: My 2 cents about actual MERIT system + Possible SOLUTION! on: May 10, 2018, 07:42:11 PM
the real solution would have been that ALL were starting from scratch as Merit points. I keep saying it but I understand that many are against this idea.

I guess you are the one who does not understand about your suggestion. Let me explain it to you. First, giving merit is based on subjectivity of a person to others, it can be biased by such things such as, friends, family, interest, relation, and popularity (just some example that can make a bias decision towards a person). So lets say, all member starts from 0, and all higher ranked members here who are famous do too, and we have some airdrop merit from admin, or there are merit sources. Dont you think people will most likely gives them merits? Because not only they have a vast knowledge, they are popular too. Understand?
328  Other / Meta / Re: Why everyone is chasing for Merit? on: May 10, 2018, 07:11:07 PM

Happy to see the twitter member ranked up. I really admire your thread mate. You usually construct the posts with the complete statistical information right. Then I know you watch your thread carefully and they give better answer according to the doubt and suggestion you got.
This is really awesome thing to get the merits. This is not at all intentionally goes to grab the merits but you are getting it.
I see you are one of top member in the Full member who got more merits.

Good answers and good thread always bring the merits to him. That is universal truth for this forum. I agree with athanz.

Thanks mate, i hope you can do it well too. You are already hero member and i am still far away from that rank man. About my thread, i agree that i put some works and time in there, but nowadays, there are many people that is way better than me in all aspects. It is great to see that merits is doing the job, even though it is not for all people.
329  Other / Meta / Re: Double Account Policy on forum on: May 10, 2018, 07:07:13 PM

Many persons are working here for bounty not here to watch movies and for fun as well. If alts are allowed here then why this can be cheating to work with alts in bounty? posting tweets and retweets is called shot posting then why bounties are welcome here with the main requirement of posting tweets / retweets? I am not holding other account if other persons are working with their accounts then how i can be the responsible for the same?

Using alt accounts in the same bounties is prohibited. Who says it is allowed? Please get your facts straight and read the rules. Plus with this statement it can imply that you are agreeing that you have alt accounts.
330  Other / Meta / Re: Why everyone is chasing for Merit? on: May 10, 2018, 06:37:20 PM
The quest for merit, is the new trend now.

Nawp, At first it's very trending and everybody wants to earn merit. They created post with different levels and put some extra ordinary informations and effort with it. Some of them use info graphic so we can say that their information is very unique, to receive merits.

But now, no one really cares because merit system is very unfair for some people. People use it for boosting accounts and selling it to those people who can afford it at high price. It's really really painful specially for me..

For some people it is unfair, and for some is fair. That is life son, you got to take it.

For OP. Some people chasing merit by doing shit things, or normal things, but some people chasing merit by doing a really good contribution. For the last one kind, i dont care if they chase merit for a good spot on signature campaign, at least they are making a contribution, and lately there are many people made good posts and thread and they deserve their merit/position.
331  Other / Meta / Re: System of nMerit on: May 10, 2018, 12:25:42 PM
@RAMSHIVDEEPAK Please man, you are already a jr.member with enough activity to be one of member, why the h you still make 2 posts in a row when the post can be combined? And you made it in 40 seconds gap.
332  Other / Meta / Re: System of nMerit on: May 09, 2018, 07:51:49 PM
I think both of them are good to invest. Eth and bth will get a great profit on long hold.

Wow, really? Is this kind of sarcasm, or idiotic act, or bot in work? I dont know why but some people really do a great amusement nowadays.
333  Other / Meta / Re: System of nMerit on: May 09, 2018, 06:46:40 PM
Even though i like the idea on how to mark a bad post, i dont like the idea of negative merit. It would be easier if its just a dislike system, without a weight, but people can see all the person who dislikes it. Simple but if someone who is unbiased and smart dislike the post then we know that post is not that good.

334  Other / Meta / Re: My 2 cents about actual MERIT system + Possible SOLUTION! on: May 09, 2018, 06:26:22 PM
~Translation: Nearly all my posts are lists of tweets in bounty threads so I can't get Merit. Please change the system to suit me.

That's a lot quicker and easier to read and should save everyone the bother of reading the OP.

Please be careful Sherlock Holmes is here! And I not force anybody to read this thread and my posts here.

If you read my whooole OP you should take the note that in my opinion there will be bigger disproportion made by merit system. If you're an account farmer you have a bigger possibility to move your account/accounts to a higher level when everyone is just spending their time to make very informative posts to gain merits.
If you want to push cryptocurrency into main adoption for every human beeing in the world you have to at least 'like that crowd'. Sorry that is just reality, not everyone have enough knowledge of how cryptocurrencies work to (at least at the bottom of their journey).

What do you mean by the bold part? Do you mean the forum must give all members the power to milk this forum so they can adopt the cryptocurrency? People can adopt to crypto wihout the rank matters, rank only matters if you want the money then you adopt the cryptocurrency.

And i agree with TheQuin,  because you have stated somethin in “my advice” ; dont look into rank / account name ( this two i agree) or anything else (this one makes me just think like TheQuin because you invite people not to look into anythhing else which can be post history of someone. I’d rather give 1 to a consistent normal poster rather than who just doing a contribution for merits)
335  Other / Meta / Re: Analysis of Deleted Posts with sMerit on: May 09, 2018, 05:09:40 PM
So with this all being created, do you guys think that we need special grave for a deleted posts which has merits on it?

As you noted, xandry is the most special case
-snip-
.However, it is not clear why he/she needs to send merit so frequently
-snip-

He is a source, charged to distribute smerit mainly in his local board which is Russian.
(This information may be inaccurate of course since it is based on my personal analysis).
BTW, nice stats DdmrDdmr

Is there a written rule that if someone come from a local board and become a merit sources then he/she has to spend the merits on the local board? I guess no (but maybe i am wrong, please enlighten me). If the board doesnt have a good post, thhen he/she must find great posts in other board. Giving merits to low quality posts just because he is the merit sources of the board is not right in my opinion.

By the way, good job as always DdmrDdmr.
336  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos Doesn't love the Forum Anymore ?? !!!!! on: May 09, 2018, 03:32:45 PM
The exact reason based on my opinion is, why would theymos love who doesnt love their own local board? Every member there only spamming, shit-posting, giving ref link, and all actions that indicates they dont even love their local board, so why do you need to love them? Sometimes people asking to be loved yet they dont do love.

Perhaps the OP doesn't know that mods aren't appointed for fun. They are placed on salary.

Not sure those local boards he mentioned are worth spending salaries on  Grin

This is true. With that kind amount of spamming and shit things on the mentioned board, do someone wants to deal with it with the amount of salary paid by admin? Is it worth it to spend the salary in the board?
337  Other / Meta / Re: THEYMOS see this. This forum is overruned by bots. on: May 09, 2018, 02:55:07 PM

Some managers simply don't care about them, do you know why? At the end they are still paid so they don't care if someone will abuse or not.

Or maybe, just maybe, that lazy managers are the one who abuse their own bounty with bots or people hired by the managers. It is just a “maybe” from me. This situation would be better if there are some  standard to become a manager, and all managers are gathered in one association, so they will have rules and if they break it, other managers will punish them.
338  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to earn merit? on: May 09, 2018, 02:44:27 PM
My suggestion for you are (it applies to other too) :
1. Learn about crypto
2. Make a quality post with your unique style
3. Roam over the board that you have interest and knowledge.
4. Do not beg for merit.
It is general suggestion tho, but reminding and applying these suggestion will surely increase your chance to get merits.
339  Other / Meta / Re: Combine merit abuse with delete post and you are good to go on: May 07, 2018, 01:18:43 PM
@DdmrDdmr I dont know for others, but i think it would be worth it and would be a meritorious post, especially if you can make a comparison between the deleted posts, and would be even greater if it categorized as deleted by mod or deleted by self.

For OP, this matter also haunt me. I have said it before. To make merit more transparent, we should have a special grave for deleted posts that has merit on it.
340  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: May 06, 2018, 08:18:24 PM
I think that the rank should be awarded as an army rank, if it deserved - an extraordinary. And with the current rules get the next almost how to accomplish the feat.
/cod mw2

Guess who is the admiral general Tongue
Call of duty is a great game, it's easier to get a rank   Grin

Getting merit is not an impossible task and it is not that hard either, in my personal opinion. Although getting 500 merits will be chalenging for me, but it is manageable. By the way, how to get rank in cod? By playing by the rules of tha game right? Then you can get merit by playing the rules of this forum. Do contribution, make contributin, and wait for it to happen, if it is not enough, dont stop, just keep going.
