I dont know about you guys, but one thing for sure is, if this is true that bitcoin cash or bitcoin diamond is a digital currency that is owned and ruled by some country (in this term is china), how can it be different from a fiat currency that is centralized and owned by some big power. It is now that they give you a luxury of owning it. Later on, they maybe will tax you, will set a high fixed price for transaction fees like a bank does, etc etc. That is how it works, people with big power will never care about your money, they just want to take it and make themself richer.

Well, i also classified my self as a newbie, let me share something for you.
1. Learn things from newbie section, it can gives u a lot of information. Read and learn.
2.. Bitcoin is main crypto currency, and the first, it already survived a lot of situation, so you must put your trust in it more than other coins.
3. There are ways to earn bitcoin such as, mining, investing, trading, working, gambling, etc
4. Use a good wallet. People suggests using a hardware wallet for a best security.
5. Dont regret what already happen in the past, learn to make better future from your mistake.
That is some thing i want to share, and what i have learn in the early time of mine. In my opinion there is no late word to invest, and bitcoin is suggested by many people can reach a higher price, and some suggested it will reach 100k usd, it is over 10 times of the price now, so there is still more room to get profit (well if it happens, it is still a prediction, that i would like to see to happen). But remember, always spend what you can afford to lose. Investing in things is good, but to make it a successful investment, it is up to the investor, so you as the investor, need to learn and make your investment better for you, like maybe, you try to traading or something, or you just can hold bitcoin and wait till the price goes up.
For source of knowledge, you can search it on internet, but i suggest you read on this forum, and you can get something too from youtube i guess.
Good luck for you, all of us are newbie on the start, but it is up to us if we want to be a newbie forever, or strive to be a greater person.

Even little investors are worried because the change on recent change of bitcoin price, because some people manipulated the price. But from what i have read (yes, i didnt experienced it directly because im new too on bitcoin, bitcoin always survive this kind of things, and even grows bigger after some fluctuation. So i am too, after looking and reading at your topic, encouraging myself, to be not panic when the price goes down, and to hold bitcoins until it reaches my point price ( it is what i called it) and then sells it for a big profit.

Menurut saya, ada beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam menjalankan signature campaign, beberapanya antara lain :
1. Niat. Nah ini dulu yang harus dibaguskan. Niatin cari uang dengan cara yang baik, kalau udah gini, pasti bakalan berpengaruh ke kegiatan agan di forum ini dan bakalan mau ngikutin saran-saran saya di nomor selanjutnya.
2. Harus bisa berbahasa inggris yang baik dan benar. Karena ini merupakan bahasa international dan yang dipakai dan dimengerti oleh banyak anggota grup ini. jadi, postingan kita haruslah dalam bahasa inggris yang baik dan benar, walaupun ada beberapa signature campaign yang membolehkan kita posting di local board. Belajarlah bahasa inggris, karena ini adaalah skill yang bagus untuk dimiliki di kehidupan sekarang.
3. Mengikuti peraturan (rules) yang ditetapkan oleh pemilik project nya. Yang paling penting biasanya post harus konstruktif dan memiliki beberapa karakter, serta harus memenuhi minimal jumlah kosa kata. Setelah itu yang tak kalah penting adalah di mana bisa ngepost yang postingan itu dihitung dan dianggap oleh pemilik project.
4. Terakhir, jangan salah addres wallet, dan amankan wallet kalian dari incaran manusia manusia biadab. Mengamankan hasil kerja anda adalah hal yang harus dipastikan juga agar kerja kita selama ini tidak menjadi sia-sia.

Memang benar setiap investasi ada sisi positif dan negatifnya, termasuk bitcoin sendiri. Untuk bitcoin sendiri memang masih memiliki beberapa sisi negatif atau kelemahan yang agan maksud, menurut saya ada beberapa yang saya pikirkan mengenai kelemahan bitcoin ini, yaitu :
1. Belum diakui di semua negara, bahkan ada beberapa negara yang dengan tegas melarang bitcoin beredar di dalam negaranya.
2. Isu keamanan, karena bitcoin ini berharga, maka keamanan harus dijaga ketat. Untuk keamanan saat ini sudah bagus tapi memang membutuhkan pengetahuan dan skill lebih untuk menerapkan keamanan yang bagus, sehingga orang yang kesusahan mengikuti perkambangan jaman atau tidak mau mengikuti, maka keamanan bitcoinnya sangat rentan dicuri oleh orang lain.
3. Tingkat pelacakan pergerakan bitcoin yang susah. Sampai sekarang masih kesulitan untuk melacak transaksi bitcoin ini bergerak ke siapa dan dari siapa karena alamat wallet adalah alamat yang dibuat dari sistem acak yang dihasilkan oleh frasa-frasa kata kunci wallet kita. Hal ini sebenarnya untuk meningkatkan keamanan di mana akan membuat kesusahan seseorang yang berniat untuk menghack akun/wallet kita, tapi hal ini bisa disalahgunakan karena bisa saja digunakan untuk kemudahan transaksi pencucian uang.
4. Fluktuasi harga yang cepat dan kadang rentang terlalu tinggi. Ini sangat membuat para investor ketakutan, apalagi investor yang baru dan hanya berencana invest dalam jangka pendek. Selain membuat banyak pikiran, bisa juga membuat kita malah kehilangan modal awal investasi kita.
5. Belum adanya harga tetap transaksi membuat harga fee transaksi yang sangat tinggi. Tapi menurut saya ini wajar karena adanya peningkatan harga pada bitcoin sendiri, maka para miner memang membutuhkan usaha ekstra untuk melancarkan transaksi bitcoin kita di block transaksi, ya jadilah fee nya naik.
Menurut saya begitu, cuma mungkin ada tambahan dari sepuh yang lain.

In my opinion, there is no age restriction or "too late" word to invest on something, does not matter if you are still young, or on productive age, or an elder already, you can start to invest. But there are many things to remember when you doing investment. And my ultimate things to remember for doing investment is, only risk what you can afford to lose. Does not matter what your age, you need to remember this. Other things that is important for me is the willing to learn about our investment. As long as you want to learn, does not matter about your age, you can make a good things from your investment, such as profit, new friends and relation, and other things. But if you dont want to learn about your investment, even though you re young and on productive age, you cant make most of your investment, although maybe you can make a little from it.
So in my opinion, if elderly want to apply those two things, it is not late for them to invest, as this can gives you a job to do in your elderly time, which you have a lot of free time. So you may encourage them, but they still need a guidance.

I am a very surprised man when i heard the news about bitcoin price this early year. My mind blown so hard. That was the second time i heard about bitcoin and it hits me hard. Because, the first time i heard about bitcoin is about a man buying 2 pizza with bitcoin, with 10k bitcoins. I was being skeptical about "making money via internet" things because i lost my money from HYIP and buying stuff online, so i hate online things back there. So when i heard it last January,  it hits me hard like shit. I was constantly imagining if i bought bitcoins at that time, how much i will have by now. But what i regret more is that, i didnt make a move on this year because the price is already high, then i found out this beautiful forum that can gives us opportunity to earn bitcoin in exchange with our work or effort. And i guess everyone are surprised about thi bitcoin price, even for the people who invested it before.
Indeed, there are lot of people believed in bitcoin before there is any increases in its price, but there are also people who buys a lot of bitcoins when they noticed this price cap increase. But i think bitcoin is a good investment if you can secure your coin, so in my opinion, it is not too late to start investing.

There are some projects that accept newbie, but not so much for now.
Because project's owner need people to promote their project by hiring responsible peoples, and they can see it from your rank and your post quality.
But that doesnt mean you cant join some project campaign. For newbie, i suggest you join some bounty campaign . There are lot of great project that has bounty campaign, that offer works using social media like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Telegram, etc. You can apply and hope the owner accepts you. And while you re doing bounty campaign, i suggest you keep learning about crypto currency and learn how to make a quality post until it is your habit.

Menurut pendapat saya. Memang bitcoin harganya naik terus, ada beberapa kali turun, itupun karena ulah beberapa orang belakangan ini, tapi untuk mencapai harga 1 milyar rasanya kok seperti gak mungkin gan.
Banyak hal yang membuat saya berpikir demikian, yaitu :
1. Harga terlalu tinggi, fee transaksi juga akan tinggi.
2. Kesulitan untuk jual beli bitcoin karena harga terlalu tinggi.
3. Pemerintah dan bank central pasti akan berusaha meregulasi bitcoin agar tidak menghancurkan sistem mereka yang sudah ada.
4. Keamanan penyimpanan dan transaksi bitcoin.
5. Masih minimnya vendor yang menerima bitcoin.
Sebenarnya harga bitcoin tidak tergantung hal di atas, cuma dari harga uang yang beredar di dalam bitcoin itu. Tapi menurut saya hal-hal di atas berperan sedikit dalam menentukan tingginya harga bitcoin.
Untuk tahap awal supaya harga lebih tinggi, mungkin para dev bitcoin bisa memperbaiki sistem transaksi bitcoin yang memakan waktu lama dan fee yang dianggap terlalu tinggi. Mungkin jika hal itu diubah, Hal-hal lainnya bisa berdatangan seperti mulai banyaknya vendor vendor yang menerima bitcoin. Sehingga dengan cepat dan murahnya transaksi, serta banyak vendor menerima bitcoin, bitcoin makin populer dan setidaknya itu bisa meningkatkan demand terhadap bitcoin dan membuat harganya juga meningkat.
Tapi walalupun saya pesimis bitcoin mencapai 1 milyar, saya juga berharap sih sebenarnya

Wow i was thinking about this thing too, but back there with only fiat currency, but with bitcoin, wow this is new.
I guess saving bitcoin for your children is a good way, since bitcoin is a strong system that can last long, and the price of it fluctuate so well and has many ups. in shorter word, it is a great investment for your kid.
What you need to do is of course buying some bitcoins and store it to a wallet that you make specifically for you children.
There are so many ways to make it, but because this is a long term investment, i guess you need the best security you can get, which is, in my opinion, is a hardwallet.
Hardwallet is a wallet device that store your bitcoin in an offline mode, usually a device. It is easy to use, but can secure your bitcoin at top level, as your bitcoin is stored offline if you didnt connect it to a ny online hardware. There are 3 popular hardwallet right now, Ledger Nano S, KeepKey, and Trezor. I  cant recommend to you which one to use, but you can read their review to understand it. Better use it to make your investment for your children at best level of safety.

Same here mate, we are regretting that time. For me, i already knows it from the news of a man buying pizza with his BTC, and it cost a lot of his BTC. But i was being skeptical because i lost some money on a HYIP ponzi scheme project. So i decided not to involved again in some internet money making things at that time. If only i buy bitcoin on a pizza price at that time, and saved it till this time, i dont even need to work right now, i will just make some real business that can earn me well monthly, like making a gas station or etc.
But my friend, it is only in the past now, we can only regret it, we cant do anything. What makes a great man and a poor man different is how they react to their mistake. That is our mistake, not believing in bitcoin in 2009 or 2010. So for now, we just need to move forward, learn about bitcoin, try to invest on it, earn bitcoin by working or joining other project or ICO, save it, then wait till it reach our specicfic price to sell it. I believe there is never too late to be successful and rich, we just need to work hard now.

In the recent event of bitcoin price fell down, and BCH price went up. This is what i think too. This is a scam, but it is scam well organized scam by a couple of rich people. It is a terrifying things for all of us that is only a small and mid investor of bitcoin, and some of us maybe depend its life on it. It is evil
And i guess they are not stopping to do that. They even pay people to make a false news on our lovely bitcointalk forum. There are recently many new account barking about how BCH will win, how BCH will reign to the  top, and how BCH will replace BTC. And asking for people to buy and invest on BCH, what a lowly act to do to promote a coins. It is a shame to see to what extends people willing to do to get money.
But now all we know all of your tricks, bitcoin will be even stronger, and we need to say bye to BCH. Long live BTC.

A couple days ago, the price of bitcoin was down a bit, i think there are many people bought a lot of it, and maybe some investor sold their bitcoin too, but for me the price is still not on my range number to buy. For me, if it can goes back to below 1000usd, i would buy a lot of it, but i guess it cant be as low as that number right now because bitcoin is going strong. It is only a dream by a mere man like me.
But to be realistic, about 4000-5000 usd is a great price to buy bitcoin in a great amount, because people predicting, and im hoping, that bitcoin will and can reach 100k, but it is not in a near time, but in a couple years ahead. Buying bitcoin in this number would be reasonable as many suggest the price can be doubled from now and we will get a lot of profit from this.
Other than that numbers, i think i will not buying it, because the recent event, market is going crazy just because some people decided to manipulate it and drives me crazy too. But thanks god the price is already recovered now.

It is possible if you can make a big community with a big money in their hands on bitcoin. There are some ways that can make this things happen, such as :
1. Pumping another coin by shifting their money to that coins.
2. Making a fake news so people panic and sell their bitcoin.
3. Selling some of their bitcoin to real fiat currency.
That is what i can think of the way to manipulate bitcoin prices. Big people really can manipulate the prices, since they have a lot of money on bitcoin and, sometimes big people are friends in real life, so they can arrange and make this happens. But i hope they dont make it often

Yes, i agree so much with you. Bitcoin is the real thing, we know it. Bitcoin already face many down so this too will be passed by bitcoin.
In my opinion, this is a fishy thing. Suddenly after BCH price increase, many newbie and new account creating topic about how BCH will stand and BTC will fall. I sense this as a play by certain people, who has a big money to make people panic and sells their BTC, and make people buy BCH at this price because this people make a false believe that BCH will stand and replace bitcoin, and hoping that people tricked by they play. I categorized this play the same as scam, but in a better way, but scam is a scam.
Bitcoin is the real thing. There are many coins appear after bitcoin born, but none can stand up to bitcoin's position let alone to replace it. So why do you guys need to believe that BCH will replace bitcoin? that is the question for people who doubt on the bitcoin.
The right thing to do now, in my opinion, to sell your BCH if you buy it at a very lower price before, since the price is higher now, and buy bitcoin by that money, or you can sell it to your fiat currency. And save your bitcoin and wait till it reach the price that you think is right to sell the bitcoin you have.

Memang sudah saatnya Indonesia ikut peduli pada perkembangan cryptocurrency atau mata uang digital ini, karena negara lain sudah mulai menjajakinya dan bahkan beberapa sudah mengakui di negaranya, seperti jepang. Saya sebagai salah satu yang suka mengikuti perkembangannya, walaupun ilmu saya gak tinggi tinggi sekali, saya sudah berharap dari dulu agar Indonesia bisa menggodok aturan untuk Indonesia dan mungkin bisa jadi pemuka di negara asean. Jangan sampai terlambat dan jadi yang terbelakang lagi di antara negara negara lain, setidaknya Asean. Liat filipina sekarang.

For now, i never spend any bitcoin that i earn, because i dont have big daily or monthly needs, and i can cover it from my work salary.
I am saving my bitcoin, waiting until i earn enough bitcoin and the right price to sell. If that 2 terms comes to me in the future, maybe i will sell some to make some money and will start a real businesses that can gives me some good passive income. It is a good things to do. Because even though you have big number money in your pocket, you can lose it all in a blink if you cant manage it and yourself.
But there is this thing in my mind that i want to buy, maybe that thing will be my first buying with bitcoin. It is a pc related things.

People like this need to be shutted down, spreading some FUD even without the guts to show him/herself, and trying to make someone loses their money as they gain money. It is basically the same as scammer.
For people who enter this topic, and panicking about the future of bitcoin, i suggest you guys really need to calm down, dont trust some people words without making a research about it. Because some people sometimes dont care about you, they just want to gain.

This fluctuation is harsh because i heard that miners are going to support bch, but i dont know if it is 100% confirmed or not, or just some news that people made to make some price fluctuate because the coin holder panicking and selling their coin.
For me, this fluctuation is normal, every investment has this, and there is no way bitcoin will always rise, there must be a time that bitcoin will decrease in price and then rise again.
Will it back to 7k? I dont know, but bitcoin price went from 0 usd to 7k usd, do you think it wont rise again? In my opinion, bitcoin has a big chance to do it.
When the price is right for you, i suggest you take your bitcoin to fiat money and just store some that you can afford to lose as bitcoin, because it will make you less worry about losing an assets.

It is not a great idea to be greedy at all. I guess it is better for you to play it safe and smart.
Play greedy and you have 2 options, big loss or big profit. Play safe and you will only have 1 options, small profit.
I guess there are ways if you want to play greedy, but i dont suggest it so much, it is just a way that i have been thinking of since reading this topic. Okay, first you must know what your initial investment, and then take a profit you desire, and if you have bitcoins left after the profit taking, then that is the coins you can afford to lose, use them to play greedy. This way, if the fork bring us success, you will still get some profit of it and the chance of you going lose so much money will be minimal.
But still, i dont suggest it, i prefer small profit but safe.
