Indeed that was a nice gesture from VLB, 4 million is not a little money, they can run away if they intend to scam people with that amount of money. 4 millions usd man, and they returned all the money to the investor, all of this happen because in the last ICO the made a plan based on a "way too high" cap and only received 4 millions usd. But now they are back with more realistic caps for them and new plan for the money gathered ( you can see it on their whitepaper which you can find on their website), softcap is 4m USD and hardcap is 12 m USD.

Not only with Qiwi, they also working on a partnership with IBM blockchain labs (from what i have heard), so it is a great thing for them. I hope they can achieve what they deserve, success. Still the best ICO projects for me since 2017.

In my opinion, alt coin that will grow is alt coin which has a real world use or in short, utility token. Not only it is increased by the market law, but if the project is success and can make the objective fully achieved, then the price will be increased too. So i suggest you start to look into a coin that have a real world function, like VLB.

Why do i suggest VLB? its simple, because it can make a difference in the car related industries which up until now has a low efficiency in any sector that makes it is expensive, lets say like insurance, car repairment, sparepart, etc. With VLB, all the proccess will be recorded on blockchain and it will lower the cost of all the administration fees in car relataed industries which can bring effectiveness and benefit to the car owner, car companies, insurance, car repairment store, etc. ANd to support that objective, they have a great founder, team, and partnership. It really gives me a positive vibes for this project.

I would only mention one which is VLB. CarPrice and CarFix is two companies that work perfectly until now and that is a great job from one of the founder of VLB, and these 2 companies can be integrated to their VLB project. They have a great team, great partner, and realistic softcap and hardcap. I would say it is one of the best ICO for March 2018 so far and the ICO is near.

For the idea, i think the best project for 2018 will be VLB. This project has a lot of positive things like :
1. great founder, they already made a company which run in car repairment industry (CarFix) and car selling market company (CarPrice), and its fully working.
2. great team, two that i put my attention on are IBM blockchain labs director and well known manager of our forum.
3. lot of great partnerships, Magnussob, QIWI, Kima ventures, Uber.
4. realistic softcap and hardcap 4m usd for softcap and 12m usd for hardcap.
Those reasons give me a positive vibe to choose VLB if i am asked what is the best ICO for 2018.

Im that anyone guy who have heard about this VLB before. Yeah they didnt reach their cap in the previous ICO, and because they already made the model plan based on that time cap and the cap didnt reached, they decided they need to rework their model plan and their cap. I heard that people got their money back on the previous ICO. Now they already made a new plan and adjust their cap, 4m USD for softcap and 12m USD for hardcap, i guess it is more realistic than before and other projects.

And come on, whats the relation between a forum that owned by someone to the spirit of decentralization? This forum is owned by someone and you can see it as a company, it is a property that is owned by someone, do you really think this forum is made out of nothing? Well i can only talk about VLB here. VLB is not new, they made their ICO on 2017 but because they set a way too high cap and made a plan based on the cap and then they didnt reach the cap, they cant make the project to progress, so they decided to refund all the investor money, all of it. That is a nice gesture from a project, when there are some who will run away with the money they have gathered, VLB decided to refund it.

Well, you know, ICO's name (all of it) has gone bad recently because there are too many blank, fake, scam or only pump and dump ICO nowadays. So it needs an extra work to decide which ICO you are going to invest nowadays. You need to make sure that the ICO has at least, i will give you VLB as an example :
1. Great founder. Founder and co-founder of VLB has made 2 fully working companies that can be integrated to their VLB project (CarFix and CarPrice)
2. Great team. One of them has a big name as a director of IBM blockchain labs.

In Satoshi's old e-mails they imply that handling as many transactions as Visa should not be a problem.
What does this imply about the development of Bitcoin?
Specifically, what is one parameter that would need to be changed and to what value to accommodate such heavy transaction flow?

The purpose of bitcoin development is to serve people as a digital currency that can be used for micro or macrotransaction everywhere and by everyone, without a 3rd party work in it. So those words mean that Satoshi's want bitcoin used for everyday purpose like Visa did today for millions (or even billions) of people, not as a digital assets like people do now. And for one parameter that would need to be changed is block size, it has made a lot of debate over the years as bitcoin only use 1 mb up until now and the reason behind it is to fight transaction spamming on the network because if bitcoin has bigger block size then it would be more vulnerale to transaction spamming, it is a great reason though, but some people who are in "bitcoin world" suggested to increase it to at least 2mb.

Since i got a bit of merits from my hardwork after merits came and it gives me sMerits , i would like to start to give my hard earned sMerits to people who are in Newbie and Jr. Member ranks who are worthy and in need of it. I made this thread (like other thread that gives merit) because it is hard to find a quality posts through all the post in this forum, so it is better to make the poster come to here and point out their post to me (or us who can read it).
I can not imagine the life of a merit source if they are forced to be active to find a quality post to be meritted.

Here is how to get merits from me (although my sMerit is not much) :

1. The post you re going to applied here must be a post that made in the same day you are applying (forum time), not the old posts. And please only send 1 post.
2. You need to answer the question i give (basic question. The question will be updated per day basis. The answer must be your own description, if i find it a copy paste from other site, i will not review it.
3. If your post and your answer to my question is acceptable, i will send merit to your original post. It will take time to review it
4. Always see OP per day.

And here is the rules for this challenge to make it interesting :

1. The challenge will be up for 1 week from 26 February 2018 until 4 March 2018 (because i will have my birthday on 5 March 2018 so i will take a rest on that day).

1. What is bitcoin?

1.I believe that jr member rank doesnt have merit and all the hero member who had activity number in the range of becoming legendary member will get 1000 merits, theymos stated that.

2. I believe there are many cases in meta complaining about that, their rank got lowered because some of their posts are deleted before the merit system introduced  and they stuck on the lower rank because they need merits now to rank up. Merits just act as a barrier for people to rank up, rank is still determined by activity points.

Even though you re mocking the system that grandfathered the high rank members, you still get the merits man, 37 is not that bad, why are you still put an effort to put a shame on higher ranks? It doesnt get you anywhere you know.

Meanwhile, happy 1 month merit system, i hope the purpose of merit can be achieved soon for this forum.

Well well, there are more findings everyday since the merit happened. I want to say thanks for the people doing this, they are bringing good things to the community by spending their times finding people like this.

I myself feel this kind of act need to be treated with justice and as soon as possible, thats why we need merit police (or at least people with power who care enough about merit abusing)

It depends on the product itself. If the product is big company like CarFix or CarPrice, it is a big no-no if they do a scam, it will break their big name and can make their company goes bad and people can sue over them. I will think several times if i want to scam if i already have 2 working and fully running companies like that, that is why i said VLB is one of top ICO with working product right now.

There are been a lot of things going on in the ICO field, succesful ICO, unsuccesful ICO, scam ICO, fake ICO, scammer etc. It impacts the ICO very well on the positive and negative side, but for now there are seems to be more on the negative side.
My suggestion to reduce of getting a negative result is to read the project thoroughly, not only the whitepaper, but read the background of all the team, partnership, etc. And then you make the decision. Taking other suggestion is acceptable but still you need to learn about the project.
I have seen someone mentioned VLB, for me it is a great project after i learn it thoroughly, it has a great founder and team, has a lot of great partnerships, and realistic softcap and hardcap. So for me its a yes.
