81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for altcoins ? on: September 12, 2022, 02:21:31 PM
Throughout the years I have just been holding bitcoin and ethereum in a non-custodial wallet but now I have decided to diversify my portfolio.
There are a lot of potential altcoins out there and I have picked up a few. Storing altcoins on an exchange id obviously not the right thing to do.
While I know that hardware wallet would be the best place to store altcoins I want to know other options as well.

Thinking about long term perspective.

1. For now, I have been thinking to store them on a non-custodial wallet but then again which wallet should it be ? My choice would be Exodus but let me know which one is best.
2. Would it better to store different altcoins in different wallets or decrease the hassle of maintaining different wallets and settle down with just one with all the coins.

I think all wallets will be safe if we can store the private key properly and we never get phished from anywhere. trust wallet I have used for years but have never experienced any problems because I take good care of it. but if you want to use a hardware wallet then I can suggest using ATOM, Trezor and Ledger because I still use it today.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me choose on: September 11, 2022, 02:40:51 PM
Between Skale Network, Satoshi Island or Lido Dao which one do you think will be better investment in this bear market.

So far I haven't heard of the altcoins you've mentioned. but if I may I advise you not to ask anything about investment advice here because it can make you lose money. because everyone has different speculations on cryptocurrencies. and in my opinion of the 3 altcoins only the Scale network is better, but you can do more research.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good bounty on: September 02, 2022, 11:35:35 AM
I heard that some bounties fail to pay participants at the end of work. Considering this senerio, how can one know which bounty is a good to participate in?

It must be difficult to find good and paid campaigns because so many campaigns are not paid at the end of the work. if we look at almost all bounty campaign managers have failed without payment, but for now I think a good bounty campaign is one that has escrowed. because we have been given an advance payment through the manager so that it has been guaranteed by the manager, so participants will definitely get paid according to the time specified by the bounty manager.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you guys invest meme coins now? on: September 02, 2022, 11:25:02 AM
So right now the market is unpredictable. Even in this condition as we all can see most YouTubers and even Kucoin, and Binance exchanges promote meme coins. What would you guys do about this meme coins project? are you guys ok to invest in these coins or rather not invest this time? because most famous coins like shib, and doge are now in the dip as we can see.

to invest in coin memes in my opinion must be adjusted to the times and trends because coin memes all have very fast deadlines so we have to start early and end before the coin no longer has value in the market. and we can see and notice how coin memes move really fast in a short period of time, and are ultimately worthless in the near future.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Coin | A decentralized economy or another form of MLM scheme? on: September 01, 2022, 04:57:28 PM
People have already talked about this coin countless times in these forums. Some thought it is a scam project and remove it from their phone. For those of you who haven't heard about the pi coin before let me give you a quick introduction:

pi coin is a form of cryptocurrency that can be mined through a smartphone. A user just needs to install the app into their phone a start mining. They claimed to be a DAO which was maintained and secured by the community. They have a community of 33millions of users worldwide.

Recently they announced their main net launch and mined pi is being transferred to their mainnet slowly. What amazed me is people are accepting pi as a form of payment. There were countless attempts to use BTC as a form of payment in store for purchases of goods which weren't very successful. But I got information that in Vietnam and some regions of china many restaurants, and shopping malls are accepting pi as payments. There is a huge P2P transaction is going on all over the internet for pi because of its demands. It seems totally hype to me but what is going on right now tells me one thing and that is Pi is not a scam.

Some downside of Pi, in my opinion, is you can only use Pi through your smartphone and you need to pass KYC to use your mined Pi.

I have known PI coin since 2 years ago and until now PI coin is still talking about and this shows the existence of the PI coin very well. and PI coin is real "NOT SCAM". we can see from the total of downloder the PI coin application has reached millions of users around the world. but we can not be sure where the direction of the creation of this PI coin later because there are still so many assumptions that are not in line.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLYGON’S MATIC or Solana on: August 31, 2022, 10:50:08 PM
POLYGON’S MATIC or Solana

No Doubt, Both are smart contract platforms that support several  DeFi and NFT protocols.
Polygon had  a well-developed NFT ecosystem with many tools, marketplaces and other products being built on it.
It has more than 150 NFT Dapps and marketplaces like OpenSea already built and working on it.
But Solana is undoubtedly a worthy contender.BTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC
lots of the NFT/ game project on Solana ecosystem.
Such as :$Aurory ,Burnt Fiance , Solanians
Plus :  new  NFT marketplace -SolPixel Powered by Solana
what is your options or opinions? Huh Huh Huh Huh

Both platforms have their advantages, so it's hard to choose between the two. and so far I have chosen both as long term investments. because these two platforms have tremendous potential in the future. Matic and Solona have a good vision and their development is very good from time to time, and this shows that this platform has the consistency to continue to develop this platform in the future.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear markets are a time for building, development and research on: August 31, 2022, 10:37:39 PM
I saw a thread suggesting that new coins will bring big profit. This is true, however, these new projects that might bring big profit are harder to find during a bear market. This is not anymore a market where you can buy the most stupid coin similar to memecoins and profit 100x. This time we need to do more research on the project, what it does, the tokenomics, how much coins or tokens are issued and how much are emitted daily, weekly or monthly and the development team, if they are good and if they have enough funds to develop the project all throughout the bear market.

Also, it is important that you should not be wasteful with the money, bitcoins or stablecoins you have left for investing. The market might be bad for months, years or longer. Be cautious and do the research. Invest in good development teams.

it is certain that we will do research before making a decision to invest in altcoins, especially in the latest altcoins/projects because without doing research first, you will lose the assets you have. because many altcoins are not able to compete in the market so that they lose price and then disappear in circulation. then choose an altcoin that has a clear growth and product and a professional team.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: August 31, 2022, 10:26:08 PM
To me both look good, investing in gold first or BTC later, but I'm confused by the current market conditions especially in terms of ROI, who is the fastest to move on?

I think gold is better than Bitcoin because gold has a consistent growth over time, but gold can't go up fast but it takes a long time. and gold is not as risky as bitcoin. and in my opinion gold is very suitable to be used as a long-term investment and bitcoin is very suitable to be made as a short and medium term investment because the price of bitcoin is very volatile and is strongly influenced by the market.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current Financial Market Condition on: August 22, 2022, 04:26:39 PM
It's no secret that US inflation is on the rise. Dollar strengthened yesterday against euro and pound, which attracts the investors to invest in other assets. Is there a way out of this problem and who is most involved?

In my opinion, current financial market conditions are all running normally, and this is not a problem that we should think about, especially as a small sword that does not have a major influence on current financial market conditions. the most important thing for us is to understand how to deal with it, if the dollar strengthens then what should we do and vice versa when the dollar is down. so we must learn about it so we don't get caught in a bad market situation.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth could take over BTC or not on: August 22, 2022, 04:20:52 PM
With PoS coming and Gas fee finally getting fixed do you think that Ethereum is capable of overtaking bitcoin? Oh also there will be max supply for Ethereum finally too, or is this expectation of mine way too high.

yes, your expectations are too high because the language you use is not very suitable to be compared between bitcoin and ethereum. Bitcoin and ethereum have their respective advantages but neither of them overtakes or competes with each other. all running according to the network they are using to date. Even though ethreum has now fixed the gas fee issue it doesn't mean it will overtake bitcoin.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to create a Bsc address on: August 22, 2022, 04:12:13 PM
I want to create a BSC address but i do not want to use trust wallet.

What are the options?

if you don't want to use a trust wallet then you can use other wallets such as metamask and there are several others. if you use a PC then you can use the google chrome extension, namely the binance wallet. and you can also use metamask by importing your private key then changing the network or adding the binance chain network in the metamask application. and the way to add the network is very much available on google search.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins is a good way to keep and save money or not? on: August 19, 2022, 05:53:25 PM
What do you think about stablecoins, some scandals around them and their future? It is interesting to hear the opinion of the members of bitcointalk

stablecoins are very good to be used as safe storage places because they can maintain the estimated assets that we have. but don't store assets in crypto because it has a high risk because one day it can crash and this condition we have to worry about. and in my opinion the only stablecoins I trust at the moment are USDT, USDC and BUSD.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Altcoin for December ? on: August 19, 2022, 05:33:33 PM
As we know the month of December has always been special for both bull run and bear matket so what's your plan for this December? Which altcoins are you going to invest this month? We need to take calculated risk since the market will either surge to unexpected level or will witness another correction phase or bearish market. I would select ADA as it has lot of potential and will surely trade in double digit.

December is a month full of history in crypto in recent years. may go up and down or bull dan bear. but we must be brave to take this risk. and surely we all want the best risk at the end of this year. your choice is the best because I have also kept Cardano as an investment because cardano is an altcoin that has strong fundamentals and the potential to grow in the future.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you regret when you miss selling at ATH followed by a correction on: August 11, 2022, 08:25:29 PM
It often become a good opportunity when you sell at a peak and after that the correction come and you buy again with low price but many people miss that opportunity who then regret but I do not regret when I miss that opportunity because I do not do greed and remain satisfied with my current amount of coins and I know in the future the price will grow again to another ATH and my current coins are enough to give me enough profit. With this thought I keep myself tension free.

What is your views and conditions at that time?

everyone will surely regret it if they have gone through times of altcoin bulls reaching new ATH and has been followed by a correction. because the new ATH is unlikely to happen in the near future, but it takes a long time. and if we can sell altcoins on new ATH then we have a chance to get bigger profits. and we can buy it back when the correction occurs.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrencies eliminate the need for credit/debit cards in the future? on: August 02, 2022, 05:59:38 PM
I do not agree that cryptocurrencies will eliminate the need for people to use credit/debit cards because Cryptocurency is only used by certain people and not many people understand the system applied to cryptocurrencies. Moreover, cryptocurrencies have a high risk that can hinder people's trust to use them. So cryptocurrencies cannot eliminate the need for a credit/debit card.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I doing the right thing on: July 27, 2022, 04:06:56 PM
How can a newbie invest in good altcoins? I know about BTC and ETH but I think I can make more money from altcoins instead of BTC and ETH, I did my research and I have a few projects in mind but I don't know if they are worthy..

Avalanche, Mina protocol, Phala network and Aleph Zero to name a few

on cryptocurrencies no one can justify every analysis and prediction of everyone who has done it. but in my opinion if you have done research on some altcoins for you to make as an investment. then please do it now because no one can justify and blame your decision here. so it doesn't change your decision after doing research on several altcoins such as Avalanche, Mina protocol, Phala network and Aleph Zero. and my advice is to be more thorough and look for ongoing information so that you don't regret it in the future.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why I won't be buying top altcoins in this bear market on: July 17, 2022, 05:02:33 PM
1. Many altcoins will never reach their all time high again.
2. Don't be fooled by altcoin ranks on coinmarketcap because many won't stay in top 20 anymore after we go deep into this bear market.
3. History have proven that many altcoins will be replaced by new ones and that's where huge investors will be making most of their gains in next bull market.

yes I agree with your first and third reasons because many of the current top altcoins will not reach their highest point again because the current creation of altcoins is very much and some of them will be in the top 10 - 20 positions on coinmarketcap. but I don't agree with reason no. 2 because on coinmarketcap it can be seen from the total volume that is there to occupy the top position. and there will definitely be the latest altcoins that are trending all the time, so the top altcoins will shift temporarily. so everything goes according to the trend.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your reason for buying altcoins? on: July 05, 2022, 07:25:43 PM
My main reason for trading cryptocurrencies on altcoins because I want to find some profit to give me more income. so my goal is to FIAT. so after i bought some altcoins at a price that i think is low and sell it if the altcoin price is high. although not all altcoins that I have bought can provide short-term profits so I have to hold them until the price goes up and I have made some profit from it. because I am an instance trader and not a long term investment.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna holders will get new token. on: June 11, 2022, 06:45:28 PM
Quote
The community is deciding on a new @terra_money between restoring a snapshot prior to attack, removing TFL, fully collateralizing UST and drafting & deliberating new mechanisms for $LUNA.

We must salvage the remaining value in the ecosystem & community and rebuild the right way

https://twitter.com/stablechen/status/1525023238895837184?s=20&t=-1WYQPCBM04n8tee6cBwQQ

If they are really doing this that means luna holders from pre-attack will get new tokens but what about those who buy later on exchange. People lost money when prices were continuously declining too. They didn't tell their community not to buy before UST repeg in its standards. I also heard rumors that Do kown short his luna to recover the loss that he took by selling his BTC in losing which accelerated the process more.

Luna lose his credibility and all who took any loss should get compensation.

Various strategies are being played by the terraluna team to restore public confidence in the terraluna. and the new coin is a team strategy to get a bigger profit. even though their aim is to restore the ground in the market. but if I notice that the chances of terraluna are very small to be able to recover, because terraluna has been considered a coin meme, even though it was once in the top 10 coinmarketcap.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins or CBDCs? on: June 10, 2022, 06:30:10 PM
With the advent of Tether (USDT), the stablecoin industry has advanced at a very fast pace. There are now many stablecoins on the market aiming to bring the stability of traditional Fiat currencies with the security and reliability of crypto/Blockchain tech. Traders can use stablecoins as an alternative to existing Fiat without having to cash out directly to a bank. To say the least, stablecoins are the new digital Fiat system where companies hold all of the power (instead of the government). Yet, central banks have announced their intentions to launch CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies) of their own. If stablecoins are already proven to be successful, why re-invent the wheel with the launch of a new government-backed digital currency? Can't just governments back stablecoins themselves and avoid all of the hassle of creating new digital Fiat currencies from scratch?

What do you think the future of stablecoins will look like after CBDCs are launched? Will they die in the end or will they co-exist with CBDCs? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

in my opinion the presence of stablecoins to maintain the value of assets owned by traders. and if it is true that later there will be a CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currencies) then in my opinion it will not affect other stablecoins. because all that exists is about convenience and transaction costs as well as speed in transacting. and I believe all asset owners have their own judgment and trust to choose the available stablecoins.
