At Cryptsy, has anyone had the problem of sending an order to withdraw 100 UNO and then only 44 show up to the destination wallet? If you go back to Cryptsy, the other 56 are there, they just never sent.

Strange...happened a few times recently..

yep, same with ZET and FTC ... cryptsy needs some extra fees. ZET is like that since about 4 months. They never fix it. I take it as a bullish sign for the coin Wink  lol

It literally took ten tries to withdraw a small wallet. Here's the explanation from Cryptsy:

The input spam caused withdrawals to return "Transaction Too Large" meaning the size of the transaction ( in kb ) was too large so the blockchain would reject it. Our system would detect this and try for half that amount. And continue to do so until it is small enough and accepted by the blockchain.

I have escalated this ticket to our tech support team. I will keep your ticket open and will keep you posted.
Thank you kindly for your patience.

Hmmmmm  Roll Eyes

Very interesting. I withdrew 25 Uno yesterday from Cryptsy. It struck me very strange that for such a small transaction, there were nearly 350 inputs!
I always look at that stuff... don't ask me why.

btw, where do you see the inputs?

You can use any of Uno's explorers. Click on a transaction ID and you can see the individual "inputs" that were used to create the "output" of the transaction.
Here's a transaction with lots .5 Uno inputs from mining rewards derived from the Coinex Uno account:

Welps, i am running low on btc now but i increased my holdings by at least 50%, and i dunno, does taking those 600 uno from the market help or hurt it? I don't plan on selling much of them any time soon but at the same time if ya don't put them back into the market no one is going to be able to obtain them, huehuehue  Grin

I struggle with that same question. There needs to be a market, but I don't like making it. Smiley  Clearly, no exchange will want to host a dead Uno market very long, and buyers will shy away from a dead market with a huge spread. I think its better to keep some coins out there, but also hold some back. The market needs some kg, but it doesn't break my heart if latecomers need to buy it up a bit to accumulate a quantity.  I just try to fill in the gaps where I find them. Don't put up huge sell walls, unless you're really ready to lose those coins. Smiley

Really good volume on Cryptsy today! 10.25 btc.  Bittrex says they need at *least* .1 btc traded daily -- not a problem today.  MintPal hasn't said what their minimum is, but I like to see at least 1 btc/day based on my experience watching them delist coins, and we're good there, too.

Check http://unobtanium.uno for prices across Uno's major exchanges, and other Uno stats.

Lookout, Potcoin! We're coming for you! Smiley

2565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 1700 less Un since 0.9.5. on: July 30, 2014, 02:40:51 PM
It's still low at .005, and I believe we'll soon see .01 in a month or two, if not sooner.

Can be that TOMORROW. FK, are you sleeping? Wake up! Wolong is in town! 0.01 within 24 hours!

Un going to be 0.1 , no shit. Maybe higher.

I have friends mailing me offering all kinds of deals for 100 Un, whining "i can't get that amount at the market" . The crazy is going to start soon.

That's awesome! Bring on The Crazy!

Just hit .006 on MintPal, so maybe I'm way off, as usual.
2566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / 1700 less Un since 0.9.5. on: July 30, 2014, 01:57:07 PM
Since BW returned us to 3 minute blocks, there's been at least 1,700 LESS Un available to be sold on markets.
This is based on the current block, subtracted from the height of an older wallet visible through "getpeerinfo" that has run off on their own chain, multiplied by the .065 block reward.

No more CoinEx dumping.  We've seen nearly 190k Uno created in the first year, nearly 10k of that amount stolen and dumped back on the market, and we've absorbed it all in a short time. Now Un creation has been slowed to a trickle, and we're approaching the next halving, which means even less Un. To mine the entire remaining 60k Un will take centuries. Very little Un will be created in 2015, just a small fraction of the production we experienced in the past year.

All of this discussion around uRAN made me take stock of my position. When the uRAN speculation began, I pulled my market-making sell orders, like most of you did, and the price shot up. Basic supply & demand kicked in.  I'm kicking myself now for not buying more in the .002's. We may never see that again. I said before it was a screaming buy below .005, and now suddenly it's breached .005 -- not because I said it would, but because the fundamentals were clear.  Why wouldn't I be adding Un here, and trying to catch some of those inevitable dumps (I call them "gifts") that occur from time to time?  It's still low at .005, and I believe we'll soon see .01 in a month or two, if not sooner.

This entire discussion woke me up. Whether this is the Return of Wolong (and wow! what series of coincidences) or BigVern keeping Un safe, it doesn't matter to me. Un is my major crypto holding for 2014 & especially for 2015.  As long as there's an active and vibrant community and smart Devs around Un, the underlying fundamentals will continue drive the price up, imo. I don't see this community abandoning Un. You had your chance to leave after the last Wolong pump but you chose to stick with it and see what happened; why would you leave now just when things are about to get exciting?  Hodl on!

MaxCoin objective achieved. Anoncoin, you're in our spot!

I checked my deposit address on Cryptsy and it is one of the input addresses over here:
http://chainz.cryptoid.info/uno/block.dws?465461.htm

You will notice that this transaction http://chainz.cryptoid.info/uno/tx.dws?559805.htm is a move of exactly 1000 coins to uRAN4dj3yG8n93obakUHT8siVQap47bHrN

So, this uRAN.. address is in fact a cold storage for Crypsy.

LOL.

At least it will be easy to keep track of. Thanks for clearing that up kslavik.
Can anyone else spot their own Cryptsy deposit address in that list?

Still seems a bit risky putting 30% of UNO into a single cold storage address.

What a fun night this has been. There's always something to talk about here in UNO-land.

Speaking of, put my Un addy in the OP! I want tips Wink
Done!  Tip Blazr2 at uVjbsx6tAhySeJpN7xLBieAzWcD7rEVmYp

Lulz. You guys all pulled your sell orders now. Never seen Cryptsy so thin on the sell side.
A week ago .0025 was to expensive for some, now they won't sell for .0043
2570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Update Now to 0.9.5 wallet on: July 29, 2014, 10:22:14 PM
Well i am trying to bring the thunder! But guys, i was poking around the rich lists and wtf is up with the 56k uno wallet, looks like all the uno was moved in to it starting today too. uRAN4dj3yG8n93obakUHT8siVQap47bHrN is the address. Ch-ch-ch-check it out  Shocked i am jelly

Impressive.  But he won't get mine.

This person decided today was the right time to show their hand.  I read this display as a resounding long-term show of confidence in UNO. 30% of supply was intentionally put on display so you could watch it.

I think this is a vanity wallet address, and it has a message for the market:  "uRAN,"  but I didn't.

Congrats to whomever has had the foresight to accumulate such a nice stake at these amazing prices. Nice move!

Things could get interesting around here. Smiley
2571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Update Now to 0.9.5 wallet on: July 29, 2014, 04:10:01 AM

marketing is going to pick up a notch over time, i believe. We have just been doing some branding (dream material and so on). Marketing earlier would not have been so successful. I think we are in schedule. Everything at the right time. No need to rush anything. It's all gonna grow organically.

Too right. Sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone. We obviously have some talented people here who generously contribute their ideas and time to build Uno a nice website and graphics and write content. Some have also donated funds to build new services, like our rich list. We're very lucky in that respect. The drunk clown is just a bonus.
2572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Update Now to 0.9.5 wallet on: July 29, 2014, 01:14:56 AM
Hi, guys. I come in peace!
Politically, it is the small-cap coins that interest me. (CGB is my home coin.)

I suspect that you would not be offended if I asked if you have any particular strategies to help market unobtainium.

IndiaMikeZulu, western australia

Welcome IMZ. I recognize you. I'm still sitting on a bunch of old Dokdo.  Smiley

Particular strategies would probably help us market UNO, too. We're a pretty loose knit group, but we generally get along, and many of us have been with the coin since the start. We're excited to see this coin play out.  UNO is fast mining out, and that's been exciting to watch.

What we do have going for us, though, is enthusiasm for Uno, a couple of great Devs, and an ability to not take ourselves too seriously.  If you find that mythical Fountain of AltMarketing, please let me know.  All we have is a drunk clown and a sense of humor.

I'd like that, a lot! Maybe we should plan something around a crypto convention.

In other news, this guy is selling UNO (or Ub?) for $9.50 per kg!

"25 sold" already. Only 7 left! Smiley  I don't know which of you guys is doing this, but you should correct that logo.  Cheesy

OMFG!   Cheesy From now on my wife will proof read all of my posts.

I have been watching Chain Age in the explorer, and that helped solidify my confusion.

Sorry guys. Now I've ruined the "surprises."  You'll just have to act surprised in October.

2576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / UNO Birthday Celebration Starts Now! on: July 28, 2014, 02:05:38 AM
UNO fairly launched by Blazr2. October 18, 2013.  That's just 3 weeks away!  Let's get the word out now that among UNO's assets is longevity.  The most dangerous time for any altcoin is months 3 through 6. A lot of them will never even reach their first birthday. We WILL, that's COOL, and it's a good enough reason to PARTY!

Fyrstikken was kind enough to help us kick things off.

The Party Starts Right Now!  And it may even continue a few weeks after October 18.  Hell, we might party all year long.

Ask your favorite Twitter or Reddit personalities to write UNO a "Birthday Card."

After what it's been through, after all it has survived, after all the community and our Devs have accomplished,  UNO Deserves a good 3 weeks of attention.  Let's give it to her!

I heard that Kim Jong Un might even have something to say. And Boozin' Bozo the UNO Clown is also working on a video, and this time he's threatening nudity!

Get ready to have to some fun over the next few weeks!  Why? Because UNO isn't just a price on a bourse somewhere, it's not just invisible money traded on crypto exchanges.  First and foremost it's also community of real people & traders who, while recognizing UNO's unique value proposition, also like to have some fun.

2577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Allcrypt on: July 27, 2014, 09:44:10 PM
If you trade at Allcrypt, maybe you can help by placing some buy & sell orders for UNO in their btc/ltc/doge/naut markets?

Would be glad to see more Uno/Btc traders on Allcrypt. I have been trading Uno on Allcrypt, but have stopped for now because it was a drain on my Uno wallet. After someone cleaned out the Btc market, I decided to sit on the side for a spell.

I bought lots of Doge (yech!), Litecoin (meh!) and Naut on Allcrypt, but wasn't having much luck finding Uno sellers in those markets.

I'll return to Allcrypt, but right now I want to hold Uno. Sorry if that slows Allcrypt a little.
It's my turn to buy Uno there! Smiley I'm tired of selling. Smiley
