It was a crazy week for crypto. I'm catching still my breath from trading some Btc. I was lucky enough to pick up a few btc this week that will be making its way back to the Uno market. I think Uno did well, considering all the screaming and scary charts claiming that cryptogeddon was at hand.
So much was made of the Naut stability fund... In Uno, the community IS the stability fund.
Welcome, @Mathgamain and @Baars Good to have you with us!

Best way to promote UNO is to bring it on the other exchanges. Vote for Uno on bter.com/voting!
Uno is already #37 in Bter voting out of 235. https://bter.com/votingCan anyone spare Bter points to move Uno up a few notches? I haven't used Bter. Can you buy points? If so, I'll be glad to send some uno to someone. I believe you earn them by trading there.

That was an amazing experience yesterday. I wish had pulled the trigger last night when I hovered my fat finger over the buy button at 168, but I got greedy. One of my btc buy orders triggered, hoping for more cheap btc>cheap Uno. Precious little Un on the exchanges atm. Only in UnoLand do people complain about sell depth. @IMZ, keep going! I don't understand all of this stuff, but I trust that you do, and that I'll eventually grasp it. @Learminer, thanks for your work. tips for Uno's web dev go to uewrE9QWc54EXjCZehWDPkjqgsyRDpQmK8 @Benefactor, sorry one of your addys got caught up in the coinex excitement last year. But eventually we did manage to track the thief's wallet, and tie it to liquidation on Cryptsy. I think overall it was worthwhile pursuit to understand that the price of Un was being kept artificially low, and to remove the fear of future Erundook dumps. Man, I hope karma or justice will get hold of that kid eventually. But again, sorry about that and no need to fear. We just wanted to understand what happened to our coinex money. Hash hovering around 35-25 ths through all of this, not bad at all considering how cheap Uno was yesterday in USD. Thanks to the Bittrex traders here who have been faithfully keeping Uno comfortably below market minimum volume requirements. Blessed are ye who trade Uno on Trex. Mind the gap.

vote for the coin on comkort.com! maybe they add it - i dont know. arkenstone has some potential if only some people see that. it still deserves a chance. i like to compare it to unobtanium and other rare coins.
It's rare like UNO and a Sha256 coin but that's where the similarity ends. ARS has a 2% premine, or 4000 coins. That's currently about 24% of existing coins. Still, I have a bunch of these and would not mind seeing it added to an exchange. Comkort would be good. I think allcrypt would be a better exchange for ARS. There is no voting for Allcrypt. Just email them and ask. I would put some coins out there to help kick it off. Btw, in it's current state, I'll give 1 Uno for 100 ARS, up to 5000 ARS.

I think the spike is done (@$166) and we'll see a snap up to $250. (sell offers are looking much thinner) -but pls don't invest in btc based on my market analysis- I'm watching btc-e & coinbase markets primarily, and buy offers are more scarce than sell orders for a comparable range of movement. I guess that there's still downside to come. Nobody knows, least of all me but if we're speculating just for giggles, my gut says the bottom is between $125-$100. I have buy orders in on Coinbase from 175, every $25 down to $50, hoping to catch a leveraged whale being cashed out, or some of those stolen Bitstamp coins. I think any lower than $125, the Tim Draper's and Winkelvi will have to jump in if for no other reason than to save their own asses. A huge sudden buy in could end this quickly and send the money on the side rushing back in. The problem I see so far is that this entire decline has been too orderly. It doesnt seem that desperation has set in yet, but I want to be in place to capitalize on it if it does.

Hang in there. These are days for the bold. Do what you need to do. This is an amazing opportunity. Don't waste it! Bring on Bitcoin capitulation. Sooner is better than later. I'm in this today, and then for the next five years.

I'm trying to raise Learminer about Unobtanium.uno. I know he's a busy guy. Does anyone else here have the skillset to repair the price/vol info on Unobtanium.uno?
Thanks for the info! A proxy service I've been using apparently went offline. Nothing I can replace overnight, but I'll try to look into it ASAP. Thanks!! I'm having withdrawals. I use this website many times a day!

FYI, I've updated the links in the OP for the UNO Mac/Windows wallets. They will now be available directly from Unobtanium.uno.
When I moved the wallets, I also re-scanned them with VirusTotal. It would help if you would follow the Virus total scan link and up-vote the file as safe. It's the same files, just new location. The old mediafire links will be retired soon.
Also, I noticed Unobtanium.uno stopped showing price/vol info today. Something broke, somewhere. I've reported that to Learminer.
Just realized: UNO has 5 rockchain explorers listed in the OP right now. I value each of them. I can recall a time within the past year when we had none! Having the explorers on the network provides peers & connections. They are always up, and therefore always important. Please don't forget to tip these guys.

i wanted to load up some USD onto bleutrade to make a buy, but it seems the only way to get fiat on that exchange is through a 3rd party called "Payeer." However, they don't seem to be very useful (still no way for me, an american, to get money to them without bank wire) and also I realized they are a Russian based company. I hate to seem prejudice, but I won't do any financial business with Russians anymore; its just too risky. so oh well, i guess its either paypal on Un-Ex or wait 3 days to get bitcoin from coinbase to buy my UNO...which in a bitcoin bear market is not my favorite choice. I moved out of bitcoin and fully into UNO a few months ago and am frustrated that I need to keep buying bitcoin just to keep buying UNO I like Bleutrade. I hope they can add some better ways to deposit USD. I like that the owners are known and also the ablity to create tradepairs between any of the curencies they offer. Cryptsy would be ideal, but of course, no Uno/Usd market there yet. Let's keep asking for it, and point them back to comments in this thread. Comkort accepts both OKPay and Payeer deposits for USD. I haven't tried either service yet, but if OkPay is better than Payeer, maybe we can ramp up the UNO/USD market at Comkort.

Don't be frighted by UNO's price as measured in a deflating Bitcoin currency. The price of UNO is not so high in USD terms.
It's a still a buy for new money (USD>BTC>UNO).
Imho.

hashrate is almost 100% up since we last discussed it. So maybe just buy uno and forget all that for a second Bitcoin is doing its last breaths. Uno will be a success and #1 coin for a long time. It's worth way more than this measily 2.50$ Hash will rise and fall with the price, as we've seen. At .0055 it was about 15 Ths. At .0083, it's nearly 25 ths according to Chainz. To sustain this current level of mining in May following the next reward halving, the price of Uno will need to be .016. If Bitcoin falls 50% by May the price of Uno will need to be .0312 to sustain this level of compensation to miners in USD terms. Although I'm grateful for every single Ths Uno has right now, it should be higher. Uno deserves a stronger blockchain. Some have pointed to the falling price of Asics as an opportunity to increase hash. This is true, but it also presents some risk as hash becomes cheaper for attackers as well. Therefor, our hash needs to be rising steadily to at least keep pace with would-be attackers. I currently provide a mere 1 ths of hash to the network. I wish I could give more. Thanks to everyone else who contributes. Mining Uno is not profitable for me, but I'll do it anyway. Miners who treat this as a business rather than as a hobby (like me) may not stick with Uno if the price doesn't take a big jump within the next 4 months. While merge mining other coins against Uno (authPow/Uno) could increase the profitability of mining Uno (assuming these are coins that actually trade and have some value), I'm still an advocate of AuthPow with Uno. I haven't seen an argument yet that isn't built on a level of optimism that makes me cautious. I respect the opinions of those who aren't certain yet that AuthPow/btc is the way to go. You who are working now to recruit other coins to AuthPow to Uno, please keep me posted. I'm very interested in your learning, and I thank you for being out there inviting others into our community. I'd love to see that work, but the clock is ticking. On one point I'm 100% certain: all of us here want the best for Unobtanium. Lets all keep open minds and see how things develop in the weeks ahead.

I've been pointing the tiny bit of X11 hash I have at Jumbucks Pool. I'm pleased with the Uno payments they're returning. Give it a try. Send them Scrypt/X11 hash and start earning Uno. It raises Uno price by buying into the market. Every little bit helps.
