deleted few comments. Totally trippin. Lack of sleeps fucks my brain hard.

Been there! Smiley

The day UNO begins gaining on USD will be an exciting day.
BTC has been sliding against a strenghthening USD (obviously) while UNO has been essentially "pegged" by investors to USD.  That makes our rise against BTC (now in it's 4th month) very noticeable in this altcoin market.

I've said all along that UNO is not even at it's average marketcap of $500k. UNO is still below that level. I believe there's more room to run against USD, since UNO (IMO) was undervalued against USD even before BTC began it's decline. 009 btc is not a crazy price any more with Btc at $290.

I'm offering a friendly reminder that new people are rediscovering UNO and our community during these days. Lets all be on our best behavior, lest any new comers mistake some of our banter as a "pump and dump." It's not.

It's also great to see some familiar and new names returning to the forum.  Miner support is increasing. Trade volume is rising. Uno hasn't even started to run against USD yet.  It's a good time to be a Uno fan.

We're having some fun, doing some trading together, but most of the reason we're doing this is because we want to hold more UNO and less BTC right now. Holding BTC instead of UNO has been costly since July.  Many, many of us in this forum have been in UNO since the beginning. Forgive us if we're a little giddy that others are beginning to discover why UNO is different than other crypto.

shakeout completed. Now sideways up
I have all sells pulled, i suggest the other do the same up to 0.0083 at least.

robbed a dumper, there you go.

UNO is cheap by USD marketcap.  BTC now under $300.  It's as good a deal as in the past week in USD terms. New money will not miss a beat. I've hodled some btc, and that has lost me buying power against Uno. Sad

As I said earlier at $300 btc, Un should be at 009 just to maintain it's historical cap. If we value Un in $$, it's a solid buy right now as btc skid continues.
2325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: October 05, 2014, 04:19:44 PM
Lol. Someone could not resist that little bit of Uno on Comkort.

No UNO left behind!

2326  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinWisdom.com - Live Bitcoin/LiteCoin Charts on: October 05, 2014, 03:06:03 PM
Bitcoinwisdom charts are the standard.  Theres' been a lot of action in $UNO across Cryptsy/Bittrex/MintPal. Please think about adding Unobtanium.  It's a vetted, established (1 year old) crypto with unique trade characteristics (rarity, low inflation, hardcore traders, community, committed devs). UNO has been in a rally vs btc that is now in it's 4th month and is getting a lot of attention as it holds is value in USD against Btc. Your charts would be a boon to UNO traders and those who are rediscovering UNO.  Unlike a lot of new coins, UNO will still be here in another year.

Thanks,

When Uno goes to .0083 it will be at it's traditional $500k market cap.  In many ways, Uno is still under valued with room to run.

Just picked up more btc between 305 and 310. Some calling for btc now to hit $275-$250 if that $300 support is breached.  UNO looks like it's on a torrid pace in the Cryptsy charts but really, it's holding it's value vs Usd.  I'm concerned about holding Btc right now, but my long term confidence in Uno is unshaken.
2329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Community growth on: October 05, 2014, 01:32:40 PM
Here's a fun little stat about how this community has grown. This thread is now at 150 pages.  How long has it taken to reach each 50 page level in this thread?

Pages:
1-50            98 days
50-100        57 days
100 to 150   41 days

To me it suggests that the community is activated, communication is accelerating, and more people are engaged with the Uno community.
When this thread began March 23, 2014, it was suggested that the mods might delete it and ban me for starting it. It's sure come a long way since then, thanks to you all.
2330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: October 05, 2014, 01:02:02 PM
WTF!!  $300 bitcoin!   I can't believe it fell that fast.  I knew it was heading there, but shit!

If BTC is going to settle at $300, $UNO could easily be at .009. to hold parity at $2.50 to $3.

I've never seen anything like Uno in crypto.

If you're trading for more Btc, then jumping to Uno has been a good move since July. I don't see why that should change after 3 full months with an imminent block halving.

If you're trading for fun and community, like I am, then holding Uno has been a good move since launch.

People who are nervous can take a time out here. It's been an exciting run up from 0045 as the cheap Uno has been paper-walleted.
Sometimes it just takes a little time to reset to the new normal.  In the context of Btc's decline, however, the run up has not been as dramatic as it all would appear on the uno/btc chart.   Uno has gained on the USD, but not as much as it has gained on Btc.  That's why I still think there's room to run. As I said last week (the post is back there somewhere) at $300/btc, Uno could easily be at .009.

I have a small Cryptsy wall at .011. I really don't want to sell it, but I wanted to keep a lid on a Wolong style pumper who might be tempted to step in here and exploit what's been going on. When I put it there, it was an insanely high price, now -- not so much.  When we're really ready to move this up into territory that goes beyond practical analysis, let me know and I'll pull it (but please don't buy my wall. I need it. Smiley )

Any donated amount is appreciate as always.

Also, I'm sure our donation pot will be pretty decent if everyone that love UNO could chip in a little!

you need to stop asking for more coins and just finish the project.  wallets will open up to you again when you post some results
Hi Pnoch. I'm excited about your project. I'll gratefully send you 25 un when it's available.
2333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: October 04, 2014, 04:17:57 PM
Does anyone have any miners that they are not using? I recall someone saying a while back they were getting rid of some? Well if you do, hit me up I'm interested in anything that may still be profitable.

I think it was Prominerone. I think he had BFL singles?  I'm sure they're not profitable right now, but they would provide a great learning experience for anyone who wants to know about mining. I hope he is able to dole them out to people would be willing to run them on Uno altruistically.

I keep about 100 ghs on Uno at all times, no matter what. I find about 2 to 4 blocks daily. If I could get some cloudmine hash that I could point at Uno, I would do it that way, but cloudhashing Uno doesn't seem possible at the moment. All the cloudhash I own is at cex.io, but sadly it can only be used in their pools.

I keep a few other low volume sha256 coins moving using usb block erupters, just because I can. The cost in electricity (2w each) is virtually zero, and the computer would be on anyway, so wth. I just do it for fun, and because I like sha coins for their efficiency.  I wanted to know more about 51% attacks so a few months ago I actually did one against one of these coins... rolling it back 5000 blocks to reclaim coins that I had sent to a bad address. It worked (was not a real attack as there had been no transactions in those blocks other than my own muffed up transfer, but the process would have been similar).

Where are the dumpers? I expected a LOT more dumping. Instead there has been...  let me count them...  just that guy on Cryptsy on Sept. 27. That's about the only substantial dump I recall.

That suggests that UNO is in very strong hands right now. Price going up without dumping is very bullish to me.

Who's that, me? Smiley

I'm more active on reddit and twitter @AltcoinShaman, but I've been lurking in the shadows of these forums for months and months  Cheesy

Lol It totally is! Welcome aboard! Cheesy

Thanks for the warm welcome  Smiley

And V500, I believe you might be right on catching some at the 4 range...I'll keep my fingers crossed  Grin. As I'm looking at the chart, seeing coins like GUE and RBY on bitcoin wisdom, I can't help but wonder:

Altcoingraphs.com has good charts.  We need to keep on Bitcoinwisdom.com though.  Uno should be listed there.
2336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Unobtanium In-House Exchange on: October 03, 2014, 10:31:16 PM
Just dropping in to say hi.

Still watching but I've just shifted most of my spare crypto into mining at the moment. Something to be active with during this quiet period.

Wondering if anyone else is using the Cloud mining services yet and if any sign on UNO has appeared as a minable crypto. Genesis doesn't offer UNO mining.
Hi Ian, welcome!
Be sure to introduce yourself on the general UNO discussion thread at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=527500.0
If these cloud mining services would let me set my own pools, I'd be all over them. As it is, they only let you mine their pools. That makes me feel like I don't really own the hash. I have a little at cex.io that I bought a long time ago. I'm in it mainly for the fun, not so much the profit (I've never made my equipment & electric costs back mining, but I've learned a lot).

If you want to trade Uno with trusted traders here and build a rep, then you're in the right place.  Otherwise lets take the mining chat over to the discussion thread, where' you'll find lots of miners.

Cheers,
FK

Crypto bullion that even Mr. Burns can carry!

Excellent!

His evil plan to buy up all UNO with cheap BTC before KJU does is coming together nicely.
2338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: October 03, 2014, 09:37:57 PM
Things may have gotten a little rushed, but the long term trend is clear and well intact into it's 4th month now.  If Btc continues it's decline, you better pull those 008/009ish sell orders, or you're gonna that Un.

I'm a little sad my prediction of $350 btc came to pass sooner than I thought it would. I'm watching support on Huobi, but I don't see much to keep this decline going for awhile.  At least Btc decline has been presenting a good buy opportunity for $uno, and I think that will continue.

Remember:  $300 btc = Uno at .009. And that's without Uno lifting a finger, just keeping pace with it's USD value, and doesn't include consideration of the block halving.

If you've done well with Un the past month, don't forget to tip the man who made it all possible, and who had to spend his own litecoin to buy Un for the first faucet. Blazr2 doesn't live off your tips, but he really enjoys the sentiment that come with them:  uVjbsx6tAhySeJpN7xLBieAzWcD7rEVmYp
2339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: October 03, 2014, 08:00:51 PM
I think the price is very fair here. I have no problem with buying it in 007's for the long term, especially seeing that Bitcoin continues to drop today.

If Bitcoin goes to $300, and UNO maintains it's traditional market cap of us$500,000, the price of Uno will be trading at nearly .009 btc.
