What the fck is that?

I'd say somebody got impatient and decided to cash in early.
Not pleasant, but it happens. Keep in mind that not everybody targets over 100% profit even on bitcoin.
If you zoom out it may make more sense.

Even if one has 5K+ BTCs it never makes sense to sell at once losing 7%+ profit. This has been discussed so many times here that it has become a trivial topic.

1. Shorting company manipulating the market.
2. Too many high leverage longs trying to squeeze into 1% increase of the price: at first they are jubilant thinking their chance of getting rich finally has come and then in <1s boom! liquidation (again). So they will try for 1001th time next week.
3. Scaredy-cat daily traders on spot exchange like coinbase, who hastily agree to lose 7% shaken by the fear of losing 10-20% of their last entry price. This game usually ends when their total loss is >90% of their investment throughout a longer period like 1 year.

In the world of finance if someone is making 100x profit by hodling, this always means that at least 100 other unfortunates are making big loss. In the case of BTC the difference is made by knowledge and willpower that most of the people don't have.

Now why would that little pussy be afraid of a big green dildo?  Kitty must all in USDT waiting for US$15k bitcoin.

I hate to bum-rush the answer (me, me, me), but just to clarify that the last candle has not yet closed, so the since the chart is structured on a calendar year basis (which is somewhat arbitrary, #justsaying) the last candle is ONLY a little more than 8 months old, so far.

Yearly candles.

Source

If I'm not mistaken, the last candle is not a yearly candle...

You didn't make a mistake. You are right. The year is not ended yet. Still, three and half months to go. So, there is no point in entering the closing price for 2022. Open, Low (should be "Lowest so far"), High (Should be "Highest so far") and kind of acceptable.

I don't think so that the last candle is not correct.

You didn't see the date mentioned above. Means it started the year from 12sep and end it on 12sep every year. And take start from 2011 not from 2010.

So I think the last candle is correct.

Some time ago, I was severely chastised by @JJG for daring to cherry-pick the timing for bitcoin's open/close values; a lesson I have not forgotten.  Be prepared to answer some hard questions and perhaps receive a bat-slappening.  You might get some lenience if you're Ethiopian or Eritrean since Enkutatash (their New Year) is Sept 11th but I wouldn't count on it.
 Good luck!

At first I thought it was bitcoin value in CAD or AUD but then after a few hours of research I came to the conclusion that it was the postal code for the city of Hinesville, Georgia, USA (and the home of Joseph Bacon Fraser Jr.), which was crippled by the SamSam ransomware attack in February of 2018 in which the attackers demanded $56,000 in bitcoin and where just today, Huey Magoo’s - the “Filet Mignon Of Chicken” opened another franchise AND the largest free-standing restaurant with a drive-thru in Hinesville, GA!  *applause

N.B.  Each Huey Magoo’s - the “Filet Mignon Of Chicken” tender is always made all natural, with no antibiotics ever, no hormones, no steroids, and no preservatives.
also N.B.  It is not known if the city of Hinesville, GA ever paid the ransom to have the network restored by the hackers though the city appears to be functioning today.

Wow, all the drinking seems to have had a really negative impact on him.

yea.... he doesn't look healthy at all...

Also, I do not think I have ever heard a less meaningful 7 minutes of speaking in my life.  It did not even make any sense.  Not only did the whole thing not make sense, the individual ideas he was failing to connect were generally incoherent.

And I fully turned off my CW is a dipshit filter.  I almost wanted it to be compelling in some way.  I watched the whole damn thing.

Absolute gobbledygook.

But he wanted to talk about few different topics; different from the normal gobbledygook yet related.  Like when Alice goes up to Bob in the USA and does whatever she wants to him because he is a republican in a democracy without a constitution or rules.  What Alice did do Bob has nothing to do with nodes because Bob had moved his nodes out to the edge for experimental purposes.  What Alice did to Bob is none of our fucking business!  George Orwell said it best, "...something halfway between a girls’ school and a lunatic asylum, and all we are doing at present is useless, or slightly worse than useless.”  Or perhaps that was Madison but my point is that Bob was attacked by Alice not for being different but for being different for the sake of being different and rightly so.  In short we need smaller government with rules pushed to the fringe because it's not the nodes.  I hope that clears things up.

 Thank you.

Ideological or physical aggressors?

Seeing as how its not a real thing, you can ideologically aggress until the cows come home, or moose if you prefer. The moment it switches to violence on innocents, it becomes actual aggression.

Holy shades of Rwanda!  Are we going to sit around challenging and critiquing definitions all day or are we going to kick some aggressor ass?

Bullish if war on Ukraine ends before war on Taiwan starts.

Fuck all aggressors.

Ideological or physical aggressors?  That's going to be a lot of fucking; we'll need reinforcements.  Come on!  Who's with us?! lol

Jeezus bro!...  why the toxic-ness?
I mean, I'm not really into royalty or anything. Its kind of silly, and I don't GAF... But they never really affected my quality of life.

I have a special hatred for those that think they are better than others simply by being born.

95% of humans are followers; she was just fulfilling a need and providing a service as that duty was passed on to her.  Anyway, I know many, many people who aren't royal by dynastic or divine right yet think they're better than others simply for being born even when it isn't expected of them.

“I declare before you all that my whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great Imperial family to which we all belong.

...and she was; she essentially worked every day of her life after that for 70 years and 7 months.

JUST IN: Jay-Z and Jack Dorsey's Bitcoin Academy airdropped each student a grant of $1,000 in Bitcoin at the completion of a 12 week course! ♥️

Source: https://twitter.com/BTC_Archive/status/1567841036969328643

Before you all go rushing out to join up, the "free" course and grant were only available to residents of Marcy Houses, which is the public housing complex where Jay-Z spend his formative years.

Nice of him to be helping others who are less fortunate though.

Bitcoin has nothing to do with "souls."
Altcoins have nothing to do with "sin."

This framing does nothing to help Bitcoin's adoption.

Dan Held

I don't know... we'd better consult Bitcoin Jesus, Bitcoin Judas, the V God and the Crypto Evangelist on this matter or was he talking about the trigonometric function commonly written as sin?  Come on Dan, it's time to take a step back and ask yourself, "What would Satoshi do?"

Before I really get off in the weeds, is there any context for his tweet?  I don't recall anyone trying to frame Bitcoin or altcoins as anything other than "bubble" or "scam" but then, I'm not a CEO of bitcoin adoption and or promotion.

Speaking of bob, there is also a place called Gaywood in the book

I'll have to defer to Bob on that one.

I'm reading the latest Ruth Galloway book, and since I couldn't wait for the swedish version I ordered the english one, but there are some words that I never heard before, so you english out there, what the f is a semi-attached house and what is it attached to and why.

And what is a "neat bob" ( as in " women over 50 doesn't, need to have a neat bob after all" said about a woman who had her hair down.)

 That's not a bob.  That's an Audrey and she's sporting an up-doo.
The bob is more like you put a big bowl over your head and cut around it.

https://www.latest-hairstyles.com/bobs/

I would argue the 'Audrey' fits as a bob haircut

Simply put a bob is a short haircut for a women.

My wife likes short hair cuts been wearing them since I met her in 1985.

and a Jada pinkett smith hair cut would be too short
as would a willow smith hair cut

williow's is getting close to the  bob style although some would argue it is a short afro/natural style maybe we can ask Chris Rock if he thinks it is an Afro or a bob.

No way.  The bob is more specific than "short".  Please, let's not mislead our Swedish pal; he's asked us for assistance not confusion.

#haiku

Oh that's a good one!  We need a self-starter with organizational skills to start a "Best of Wall Observer Haiku" thread.  Since it's generally once a week that haiku are posted, we could do a weekly poll to pick the cream of the crop and move those into the haiku thread.  Anybody have a kid in high school who has to do 40 hours of hard labour community volunteer service in order to graduate?  We could fill out the appropriate paperwork and get them an hour a week towards that.
