1281  Economy / Lending / Re: Alia's Lending Service. Lowest interest in bitcointalk history. on: March 10, 2018, 03:17:00 PM
Alia's account has been permanently and they're not allowed to post anywhere on the forum expect Meta.

Alia's account has been permanently ......? What banned? If so why not close this thread?
1282  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW DO I GET MERIT? on: March 08, 2018, 05:52:14 PM
Now you are doing everything wrong.
First of all, why did you started 2 threads about same thing? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3086974.0 (not sure why someone merited that post).

I think that's because most members are trying to increase their activity by posting some random posts and they'll never stop doing so.
1283  Local / India / Re: Koinex fake withdrawal status on: January 04, 2018, 03:57:53 AM
I agree that the support of Koinex team is terrible. But I don't think that they are trying to scam people. As it was mentioned on the site that withdrawal can be made on 28.12.2017, I tried to withdraw 11k INR. Within minutes the withdrawal status showed that the withdrawal was successful but I didn't get credited in my bank account. I started panicking and contacted support, checked with the unofficial telegram channel whether any of them are facing such problem. And I'm not satisfied with the replies.. But the next day when I checked my bank account, I am happy to see that the amount got credited. Almost all Indian exchanges are facing issues regarding deposit and withdrawals. So don't panic, this is the Govt trying to regulate or trying to stop the money inflow into cryptocurrencies. Everything will be back to normal in a few weeks

1289  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Cashing out to Rupees on: December 17, 2017, 06:06:47 PM
I would suggest you use localbitcoins or Paxful where you can sell your BTC for Cash, RTGS and all other online payment methods. By selling in localbitcoins or Paxful you can easily evade taxation. Get some guidance from your Chartered accountant.
Being an Indian citizen myself, I wouldn't suggest you run away without paying taxes. But it's up to you to decide.
1290  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: newbie trader on: December 17, 2017, 05:57:03 PM
I would suggest you try Koinex, an Indian exchange where you can buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple and Bitcoin Cash. If you need to purchase more altcoins, you can send your bitcoins bought in Koinex to Binance, an international exchange where you can convert your BTC to various alts.
1291  Local / India / Re: Has anyone done transaction on Coinmama? on: December 17, 2017, 05:19:57 PM
I haven't tried the site personally. But when you have a lot of other genuine sites for buying bitcoins and other few alts, Why would you want to try coinmama? There are mixed reviews regarding Coinmama, some say they are a scam while some others say them legit. So, it's wise not to invest big amounts on the site to buy bitcoins. If you want to buy bitcoins try the popular exchanges like Zebpay, Coinome, Koinex, Coindelta etc

1293  Local / India / Re: Zebpay app for bitcoin business in India.. on: December 16, 2017, 02:21:36 PM
Yes, Zebpay App is a good app comparative to Unocoin. But, I feel that the price is higher than other sites. App-wise Zebpay is the best in the store, but I wouldn't suggest the site for trading. For trading you can go for Koinex, Coinome or Coindelta
1294  Local / India / Re: Koinex Review on: December 13, 2017, 02:13:42 PM
People, their support is horrible!

I tried to contact support and was given a time of 24hrs within which I would be contacted by them. It's been almost 48Hrs and nothing has happened.

Does anybody have an idea who runs this exchange? Its being now couple of months in the market so wanted to get the review about is it legitimate site, service seems to be pathetic as per the above comments. Is anyone on this forum from their team?

Within how much time the moeny withdrawl is being processed?

I am not from Koinex team.  But I have withdrew several times from the Exchange.  The withdrawal are instant.  Mostly I get my balance credited to my account within an hour. Same go with INR deposits half an hour to reflect in your Koinex account if you do next/Rtgs.

The top negative reviews are made when the exchange was started.  Now they have improved a lot. Great trading site.
1295  Local / India / Re: Koinex Review on: December 12, 2017, 03:23:47 AM
Their support is horrible. And they decided to charge earlier for password change etc. And they had brought the exchange down at key times when there are sharp spikes in price.

I would not trust such an exchange. But there are not much alternatives

If you say so try Coinome. It's far better than Zebpay and Unocoin
1296  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: India's Cryptocurrency Launched on: December 11, 2017, 07:10:51 AM
The proposed Cryptocurrency of the Government of India is "Lakshmi" named after the Goddess of Wealth. You can check this article from economic times another-experiment-with-currency-rbi-is-looking-at-its-own-bitcoin .

Laxmi coin is basically a scam coin developed with the intention of scamming people in the name of the currency proposed by the RBI/GOI. So please dont fall for these scams.
1297  Local / India / Re: RBI has issued warning against virtual currencies along with ICOs on: December 11, 2017, 05:45:33 AM
I think that the RBI is going to continuously give such statements so as to avoid more increased adoption of bitcoins by the common folks of India. Most Indians don't look into the technical side of it, some don't have the capability to understand while some don't bother looking into it. The Government and RBI will be trying to regulate them, which cannot be achieved so they'll probably come with their own cryptocurrency. So if they are able to stop few investments into Bitcoins, those investments will likely be invested into the cryptocurrency the RBI / GOI comes up with. So basically block the investment into Bitcoins and fund their project. That what I think.
1298  Local / India / Re: Koinex Review on: December 11, 2017, 04:19:07 AM

Initially Koinex was not good, but things have changed drastically in just 2 months of their launch.... Please consider going through the review!

They still use an sms based authentication (+0, no points) but they are yet to introduce Google Two factor authentication very soon…. That will be another plus point then… I'll update my answer then….

Looks like it's time to update your response. They do have Google 2 factor authentication now.

Admins are very active on the telegram channel and via mails and they resolve issues very quickly (if you face one, and I can guarantee if you follow the quick start guides you will never face any).

Can you please provide the link for the Telegram Channel? I would like to join the channel.

The amount of 2001 that I added was mistakenly added from a different account. It should have been refunded. But it never was..

You still didn't get your money back?

I was thinking to register but after reading this thread lol ..

100 INR for verification ROFL .

I hope Coinsecure soon adapt Altcoins .

The 100 INR for verification and 50 INR for password change were adopted earlier when they started. Now they don't charge any of such stupid fees. Koinex is the best trading platform in India, in my opinion.

1299  Local / India / Re: Is Indian Government going to regulate Crypto?? on: December 10, 2017, 02:53:39 PM
I am sure that the Government of India will try to regulate the cryptocurrencies to avoid money laundering activities. But I think the government won't be banning cryptocurrencies or the Indian exchanges. Most of you guys may be aware of Coinome, a new bitcoin exchange cum trading platform, opened following the success of Koinex. It is a Billdesk initiative, one of the leading payment services and it has a major investor in the form of SBI (State Bank of India). So, you can clearly see that the Government is not going to ban the exchanges or the cryptocurrencies anytime soon atleast not for the next 5-6 years.

The above are just my thoughts, you can see that I am a newbie here and I am new to Cryptocurrencies. I started investing in cryptocurrencies only in September 2017 whatever small amounts, I can afford to lose.

Edit: Even though both Koinex and Coinome failed, I still believe that India won't impose an outright ban on Cryptocurrencies.
1300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Buying CryptoKitties on mobile devices on: December 09, 2017, 05:46:29 AM
Greetings,

I want to explore the purchase of CryptoKitties to understand trading. I know I need metamask to do this, but, I only have ios devices. I have an ipad and an iphone. No desktop.

Is there a way to transact in kitties without a desktop? Can you either get metamask to work on an ipad or is there a workaround?

All help is most appreciated!!

Eric

If you check the metamask.io website you'll be seeing 2 options. Get chrome extension or get brave. I don't know if it works but why give try with Brave. Maybe it'll work, I am not sure though.
From most people here, I came to know that Cryptokitties is more like a gamble and there are high possibility of losing your ETH. So take your choice wisely do more research before you invest in them.
