1241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏁🏎️ Sportsbet.io🏁 FORMULA 1 2023 Season🏁🏎️Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: April 28, 2023, 02:26:35 PM
^  I predicted the usual suspects with Verstappen, Perez and Alonso.  Going to the fourth to 10th spots is where it starts getting greasy but I got Russell and Hamilton, then Sainz, Leclerc, Norris, Stroll and Hulkenburg.  I'm not really sure if I should put Norris and Hulkenburg in there but whatever.  Hard to choose between them and Gasly, Bottas, Ocon and Albon.  :/

For all the people here that don't know the sprint race has changed some things and that is the Early Brew Points you get if you put your predictions before today at Qualifying at 15:00 European time as this count as the starting Qualification for Superbru while in reality for F1 this is only made to dictate the places of the cars, how will they start tomorrow in the Sprint race as it will be fun to have such a race in such a twisty and technical track like this one in this weekend,so people do not forget to put your predictions before 15.00 PM European time today or you lose a precious 2 points.

Ok wait...  So I already made my picks a couple of hours ago.  How many more points do I get if I stick with until race day?

Anyway, any spots that stick out from a betting perspective?
1242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 28, 2023, 02:16:13 PM
At least the title race has hotted up a bit. City have two games in hand still so they'll probably over take Arsenal soon enough. Fulham and West Ham are their next two fixtures but they've still got the Champions League to contend with as well.

Yeah but as you said City still has a couple more matches to play.  I think the momentum is shifting towards City's side.  I think Guardiola is going to win the league...  Again.  And he's gonna get eliminated by Real Madrid at the Champions League...  Again.  Cheesy

That's gonna be funny and not in a good way as the UCL is getting a bit too ridiculous for City now.  Can't wait to watch both legs and laugh out loud if the Italian out foxes Pep again.
1243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 28, 2023, 02:08:18 PM
But the thing with Simon is he could be chinny and Yadong has powerrr.  And another thing, who was the last guy to KO Simon?  Yep, it's Faber, Yadong's head coach.  Cheesy
It's almost like the stars have aligned...it's mad because I was quite confident about Simon in this match up despite the power, but I just know how sometimes the universe just lines up perfectly, and it would be very poetic if Song KOed Simon knowing that his coach was the last one to put him out. Thanks for that, doubt. I didn't really need that Cheesy.

Nah, in all seriousness I think it's a fantastic headliner. I don't think we'll be disappointed whatever way it goes.

I was just trying to make an argument from the point of view of Yadong backers.  Lol.  I still have Simon as I think he'll have lots of success with the wrestling.  Again, even though he trains with Faber, Guida, Mendes and the rest of the guys at Team Alpha Male.  Simon is just that good in wrestling imho.  Watch what he did vs Jack Shore.

I think that's gonna be my only bet for the event.  Simon to win at 1.83.  I'll prolly talk myself into getting Durden as the underdog at 2.14 and the prop for Oleksiejczuk via KO at 7.40.

Weigh ins start in a couple of hours...

1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Back in 2021 Form ;) on: April 27, 2023, 02:48:14 PM
Basically the reason why it went below the $2000 mark is due to all the unstaking that is taking place and causing the selling. Crypto is transparent and its very easy to see how much ETH is unstaked everyday. If you are a holder you can see this and know before hand that most of these unstaked ETH will be sent to an exchange and sold. Hence you are hesitant to buy more and will wait until the unstaking slows down.

The amount being deposited doesn't mean anything because those deposited ETH wasn't going to be sold anyways but the unstaked ETH has a higher chance of being sold. This is what might happen if USG sends more BTC to Coinbase to sell or when MtGox releases all those BTC after a decade.

Did it really?  I don't think so...  The Shapella update happened around April 12 and the massive sell down happened a week later around April 19 and was really a sell down that happened with Bitcoin and it took ETH and the whole crypto market down with it.

And the funny thing is the sell down happened out of nowhere...  But it's done now and the market is trying to claw back the lost gains.  So far so good even with the recent shenanigans.
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / zkSync Era Airdrop Guide on: April 27, 2023, 02:26:23 PM
Hey guys...  If you missed the ARB airdrop, there's prolly more projects out there that will have their own airdrop.  There's another L2 roll up out there called zkSync which could airdrop later this year.  Here's a guide that could give us a chance in getting some free tokens.

Edit:  First before first...  Read and learn more about the project and always read the docs.

https://zksync.io/
https://era.zksync.io/docs/

First, bridge some ETH via Orbiter Finance.

https://www.orbiter.finance/

Then once you get some ETH to the network, you could go on ahead and play around their live projects.

I suggest playing around with SpaceFi, Mute.io and SyncSwap.

https://www.spacefi.io/
https://mute.io/
https://syncswap.xyz/

Use these protocols to swap and do some LP'ing to get your total volume and usage in the network up.  When I was playing around Arbitrum, I had my total volume to a tad more than 10k USD in a couple of months or so without realizing it.  I didn't even think Arbitrum would really have an airdrop.  I felt I just got lucky.  So if you wanna get lucky with zkSync and be eligible for their airdrop, you have to use the project and the protocols developed in it.

Here's a tip, put most of your volume in SyncSwap and use it the most as they haven't released their own token yet and could also have their own airdrop soon.  Wink

There are other protocols that could help you get lucky in getting your address eligible for the airdrop.  I haven't used them tho.

Mint Square and zkAnimals.  Mint Square is zkSync's NFT marketplace, zkAnimals is a NFT project which could have its own airdrop soon.  Keep on the look out.

https://mintsquare.io/
https://zkanimal.xyz/

That's it for me.  If you guys like more content like this, just drop a line and let's find more projects.

A little caveat:  This guide doesn't assure you that you'll be eligible if they do have an airdrop.
1246  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 27, 2023, 12:55:28 PM
Strong bounce from the 50 Day MA currently playing out. The fact it failed to act as support last month but has so far supported price this month arguably means the uptrend is even stronger than it previously was. Personally I was expecting a pull-back to $25K/$26K, maybe even $23K, like many others, but clearly the bears failed to push prices lower than $27K after $28K accumulation/distribution zone was lost.

After 5 week consolidating in the $27K to $31K range, there is certainly room for further upside now if we see an increase in volume. My gut feeling is bit more consolidation, maybe for the rest of the week and into next week, as theoretically $30K should continue to act as some short-term resistance. That said, we saw what happened last month at $25K after price re-tested this level for the second time, it broke through with ease with enough volume. Hence whether we imminently break through $31K will remain volume dependant imo, especially while price is bullish and not yet overbought on Daily time-frames.

I think a pull back to 23k could be disastrous for BTC as it would mean going back to a range where there was a lot of resistance at 24k - 25k.  BTC shouldn't lose what it has gained and more importantly it shouldn't lose mometum.  I'd rather see it keep chipping away at 30k then go back down to 28k than a huge pull back which could mean back to bear territory.

Anyway, heard the market had some shennanigans yesterday.  Just as when you think it's going to a higher range, it pulls back down.  Lmao.  It does that.
1247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 27, 2023, 12:43:11 PM
Well, City is just too good. Shame, I was rooting for this Arsenal team - but they're just not ready yet. They probably won't get such a big chance anytime soon.

Today it was all one-sided but this is not the game that will cost them the title. They had 3 draws in a row before this one, and in 2 of them they wasted 2-0 leads.

Yeah...  Arsenal's performance is declining at the most crucial part of the season while City is getting better.  I hope it translates to the Champions League as they're going against their old nemesis Real Madrid.  Lolol.  If anybody has been like me in missing a lot of football for the last couple of years, Real vs City UCL semi finals should not be missed.  This could be Guardiola's last crack at the title with City.  Don't think City will go this deep in the next couple of years.

Sigh, so I guess that's the EPL season then?  I think don't Arsenal could back after the loss vs City.
1248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 27, 2023, 12:33:06 PM
^  Michael Johnson was actually a highly touted prospect back in the day even though his record wasn't that good.  He fought the top guys and had wins over a young Tony Ferguson, Dustin Poirier and Edson Barboza.

Anyway, yeah the next event is not really that good but it's better than the worst events this year imho.  Looking forward in watching Durden vs Johnson, I wanna see Quinlan in there, Borralho vs Oleksiejczuk and the main event.  Curious how Song Yadong fares vs Simon's wrestling.

Ricky is relentless in the wrestling, so if Yadong can't keep it on the feet, he's in for a very long night. Ricky, on the other hand has questions to be asked on the feet. I think it's one of those classic match ups; wrestler vs striker, and it's ultimately going to decide who wins. However, I've learned my lesson far too many times, never doubt a dedicated wrestler to get things done in these tricky matchups.

Even though Yadong trains with Urijah Faber and the guys at Team Alpha Male, I think Ricky Simon will def have success in taking him down.  Simon took Jack Shore down a bit easily and Shore isn't just a half assed wrestler.  The guy is pretty good.

But the thing with Simon is he could be chinny and Yadong has powerrr.  And another thing, who was the last guy to KO Simon?  Yep, it's Faber, Yadong's head coach.  Cheesy

1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the Next Great 1000x on: April 26, 2023, 01:31:53 PM
^  Yeah, some people started to sell.  But overall, not bad.  Pretty sure some people got to make 1000x gains from it.  It's prolly the trade of the year imo, just like how SHIB was the thing to trade during 2021.

And that's the whole point of the thread ladies and gents.  It's the memecoins that make the massive gains.  So if you got any memecoin to shill, post them in here so we could take a look see.

For being an ARB claimer in Arbitrum, I'm being airdropped AIDOGE, AISHIB, REKT, LSDOGE and soon DROP.  Lol.  I'm not selling and I'll be staking them then let's see how it goes in the next couple of years...
1250  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 26, 2023, 12:59:53 PM
Locked the poll and it looks like the sentiment isn't really bullish as I thought.  There was just one guy who voted super bullish and just three of you who voted for super duper bullish.  C'mon guys...  This was supposed to be fun.  Grin

And here's what the monthly chart looks like so far after two little pumps today and yesterday.  Not bad imo.  They add up.  It wasn't looking good for a while there.

What the fck just happened?  A few hours ago everything looked like it was gonna go trend up above 30k albiet having some resistance.  Now it's looking like it's ready to go down to 26.5k support.  :/  Does anybody know what's going on?  It would be so weird if BTC just went down out of the blue without rhyme or reason or without anything happening behind the scenes.

Hopefully itwas just a fat finger error and we proceed to going back to how it was in a couple of days.

We are still holding at around $27,300, not a good sign but we have to suckered everything right now. Lots of negative things maybe that's why the price falter from as high as $31k and when we thought that the uptrend will continue.

We still have a week before the end of this month. It started strong might this might be the first time that we might see a negative candle after a good 3 months head start.

It's starting to look good now.  Hopefully there aren't any market shenanigans happening for the next couple of weeks.

Edit:  Looking at the chart again, I think I know what you guys are thinking.  It's going to be in the next poll.  Lol.
1251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 26, 2023, 12:45:32 PM
^  What's fun about Monaco is the qualifying.  And what's fun about it this year is Verstappen having somewhat of a an ax to grind against Perez.  I don't know if you guys remember, but there were words swirling around that Perez's crash in last year's qualifying at Monaco was on purpose which caused a red flag and prevented Verstappen from completing his last lap.

So yeah...  I hope those protesters find another day to do their protesting and let the race commence.  I mean I know I'm a bit jaded these days but really, no amount of protesting will change anything.  Those guys at the top will always get their way sooner or later.
1252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 26, 2023, 12:31:23 PM
^  Yup...  The guy's young, he's practically still a kid as far as his fight age goes because from what I know, he didn't really have any tough matches against fighers that are in his level.  I think he should toughen up and fight more of the top guys in his weight class.

Anyway, I'm a bit disappointed.  I really thought Garcia was gonna take the match to the late rounds.  I expected him to be more durable than what he showed up there...  :/  And because I had a small bet on Davis to win via decision.  Lol.  Cheesy Cheesy

I don't know if you guys noticed but ETH is back in its 2021 trend where it belongs.  Wink  Now holding on to it will depend on how it consolidates above the red bar.  Obviously if the buyers gobble up everything the market throws at them then hopefully we'll see another leg up to 2.5k soon and 3.5k after that.  Leeezz gooo!
-cut-

Yeah true, but i don't see how you do your TA. If this would be a counted as a elliot wave leg wouldn't this be a second leg and according to elliot wave theory 4th and 5th are retracing before we go up? Or do you think it would retrace from 3.5K? Where to? Back to 2500 maybe? Anyway, good to be on the solid ground soon. I feel easy to long from there.

Uh, it's not really TA.  It's just looking at the chart and showing what currently happening.  TA has some sort on analysis  baked in and with it, selling a prediction.  As for me I'm just showing what's happening at that given moment and try to see if it's bullish or bearish.

And I'm not really the guy to talk to about Elliot Waves or other predictive indicators.  I think dragonvslinux is a more qualified guy.  He's smart.
1258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 24, 2023, 12:20:37 PM
Small news.

Ferrari just hired 2 engineers from Redbull they will be in next year's team.

(they are doing what Aston Martin did if you can't beat them... join them.)

If you can't get Horner to join your team, just go get some of his engineers...  Lol.  But it's good.  I hope Ferrari gets as much smart people as they need and bring back their glory days.  It's been a while.

The Monaco GP of F1 is at risk.

As you may know in France there is a political protest going on and the Monaco GP can be the next target for the strike from people.

Jfc..  What are they protesting for?  And what does Monaco have to do with them?  I think it's one of the least political places in the world.  If they're just there to annoy the lot of them rich folks then that would be funny.  Cheesy

Verstappen now at 1.39 to win Azerbaijan GP.  :/  Hamilton at 15...
1259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 24, 2023, 12:12:09 PM
Sergei Pavlovich looks the real deal, even defended a few takedown attempts, despite them not being setup by Blaydes. I'm not sure why Blaydes stayed on the feet as long as he did, it was quite clear Sergei Pavlovich was hurting him every single time he was landing. I didn't want to see Curtis lose in that way, but I've got to give it to Pavlovich he's put a real statement on that win.

He looks like the real deal, and can defend wrestlers. Remember, Curtis is one of the best in the division for his wrestling skills. I believe he has the most time on top in control time.

I think those looked like they were half hearted TD's.  Lol.  I forgot Blaydes kinda has low fight IQ.  He just reminded me.  Cheesy  I really thought he'd do Palv like he did Overeem back in the day and to think Palv's only loss was due to ground and pound.

Blaydes lost his shot for a title shot.  But I guess Palv is a more exciting match for Jones.

Anyway, lost my lottery ticket again.  I gotta stop doing these.  Next event I just bet on the guys that I think are gonna win with good value.  Sad

^  I wouldn't discount it as just rumor if we consider that Hamilton has been showing his dissatisfaction with his team as of late.  When does his contract with Merc end?  It would really be something if he won his next driver's championship with Ferrari.  I will def be rooting for Hamilton and Ferrari if he does get a drive there.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
