-snip-

It was a great call, I follow it and put $22 on in to get $51 back

I watch the 3 of them, and really enjoy it, is hast to find those easy money fights but today was the right day to print money with UFC. And Almeida by submission was an easy call too, I should add that one to the parlay because that fight alone was a x1.75 but for that point, I was happy with my profit and didn't bet more.

The UFC event that I'm waiting for now is the UFC 290, "VOLKANOVSKI VS RODRIGUEZ" I know it still a long time for it, but it will be an awesome event. I will bring my prediction when we get there but still a 2 months wait for it.
I won these three fights with pretty decent Odds because I can use the wins to bet on the next day.

I expected more from Daniel Rodriguez but Ian Garry was a lot faster and had more tools.  D Rod just had his boxing, no wrestling, couldn't even get the fight to the clinch and grind his opponent somehow.  I think a guy who could do that could give Garry problems.

Congrats on the win.

And for a Fight Night I thought the event was so so but it was better than I thought when I was watching it.  The next one tho...  I could def say that it's not really good.

That's gonna be a bad business if you take the fans and the style of football they'll be playing on the pitch imho.  And that could mean less ticket sales.  They should look for one of those new age managers like Burnley and how they took a chance on hiring Vincent Kompany.  I haven't really seen them play live but I could imagine his style might be influenced by Guardiola and Mancini.

Just checked the lines and I see Leeds got one in first.  Cheesy
The game ended 2-2 therefore it is a first point for Allardyce. If Manchester United beat Wolverhampton Wanderers (they are currently winning 1-0) the 3rd and 4th place in the Premier league table will be tied on 66 points with Newcastle United and Manchester United ahead of Liverpool by 4 points.

Edit:  What do you guys think of the BTTS and over 2.5 goals combo for Aston Villa vs Tottenham at 1.94?
Where did you get those odds from? Aston Villa are currently leading 1-0.

At Stake.  It was a tad higher than that at the start or the week but the sharps got in to it and got it lower than 1.94 forcing the books giving it a little juice.

Anyway...  Poch is back!  I'm pretty excited for Chelsea now.  Huge change is coming for the club as per his contract, Poch has full control of the club as Chelsea manager.  From the academy to the senior squad.  A real gaffer!

Edit:  And the summer transfer window should be fun for Chelsea supporters.

I think for jaded people like me, making any meaningful and life changing amounts of money in memecoins is the perfect way to become rich.  I suck at risk management tbh.  Most of my early stack I've lost in trading and some in gambling...  I didn't care at the time because I never really thought crypto would go above a trillion in total market cap.  Crazy...

Anyway, yeah...  Whatever money I have, I'll prolly use to get in a memecoin.  My airdrop monies from the ARB airdrop are going down as I went on to research and got serious...  The result?  I bought GRAIL at around 2.5k, locked it for 6 months and I also bought EQUAL at around 4.75 and locked it for 6 months.  Both are down bad esp EQUAL.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I still have a little bit in XMR but that will never get touched as it's down bad vs BTC.  Lolol.
1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: May 13, 2023, 12:48:44 PM
Sam Allardyce could be the one to help Leeds United out the quagmire they find themselves in. They are a club that has history and potential and they could be challenging for a top 8 spot regularly if they find stability. If Allardyce guides them out of the relegation zone and to safety he will do well will the players next season in the Premier League but I think if Leeds get relegated he should guide back to the Premier League the following season if he chose to stay as manager.

^  Ian Garry is the better guy and the rightful favorite but the match could be closer than the line suggests.  Could be a 15 minute sweat if you bet big.  Cheesy  But I'm rooting for you.

Anyway here are the weigh in results.  Three guys missed weight but one match was changed into a catch weight bout.

Then look at Leicester City vs Liverpool on Monday, that could be a loss for Liverpool because Leicester will know the results of the other games from Saturday and Sunday. If they know at least one of the others lost they will give the extra mile to try to bring back 3 points.

Chiming in...  Grin

But Klopp's boys at Liverpool are also going after top 4 too.  So they will play as hard as Leicester for sure, if not harder.  Liverpool is also in a hot run.  They've won their last 6 matches with three of them winning both halves...  Leicester could prolly get a goal in as they'll play really hard themselves too as you said but dunno...  The edge is on Liverpool.

What do you guys think of Liverpool to win and BTTS combo at 2.60?  A tad safer one is Liverpool to win and under 4.5 goals combo at 2.07.  I don't think it's gonna be a goal fest.
1188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: May 12, 2023, 03:27:20 PM
I have also heard that FIA are thinking of making the cars smaller and lighter than before. This is supposed to be good for F1 fans normally but it isn't honestly. Because as long as this huge gap between the teams is maintained nothing will change in a good way. We will even see the opposite because Red Bull are going to get even more advantageous in that case.

We would just watch Verstappen and Perez getting past everyone else like they are just there fore practicing.  Grin  Verstappen made a statement like he would like to see some balance among the teams to make the sport more competitive. However Red Bull are the team that create this much big gap in the first place so he should start with his team about this.

It's really hard to please everybody as these latest spec changes were made to take away Mercedes' dominance and make it more balanced for the other teams.  If they make another major spec change, dominance could go back to Mercedes and we'd all be complainig about it the same way people are currently complaining about RBR .  Grin

Mercedes dominated for 7 years straight starting when F1 switched to the V6.  Red Bull broke their streak the season before the major spec change.
1189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 12, 2023, 03:17:05 PM
^ ^ ^  Ok ok...  Let's not get too distracted with the kitties guys.  Cheesy  Nice to have a change of pace itt in between PPV events tho.  Grin

Aljo vs O'Malley - I wonder when this fight is going to happen. Aljo just fought and probably will rest for 4-6 months, Sean last fight was in October 2022 against Yan, so this is a huge pause for him if he fights Aljo next. Sean must have a fight in few months imho.

As posted by somebody a page back, the match between Sterling and O'Malley is already booked for UFC 292.  So that's a break of three months for the champ.  I guess not enough time for a full recovery but that's prolly good for the match as it could tip the scale a bit towards O'Malley's favor.  A fully recovered Sterling would prolly get a win via sub at R2 or something early.  Lol.

...  The main event is under 1.5 rounds lined at 1.49??  I know Roz could KO anybody in one round but could Almeida finish Roz via sub in one round?
1190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Round of 16 on: May 11, 2023, 01:17:03 PM
^  What it was really was a good result for Real Madrid despite City scoring a goal.  A lot of folks thought it was a match all in sky blues...  But the Los Blancos had other ideas.  It was a master class on how to negate a dominant force such as Pep's City.

I missed the first leg which I was really excited for but I'll def not miss the return leg.  I feel like Real shines here and wins a hard fought back and forth battle with 2 - 1.
1191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: May 11, 2023, 01:10:45 PM
^  Saw the highlights and the face off.  Dunno maybe it's because I expected more from Diaz but it looks like he doesn't really care about this match.  It's like he's just there, make some sort of show and get his money.

I kinda liked Diaz here if the line is good but looking at it right now, I would't put money in it if it isn't at least 3 - 3.25 or something.

Edit:  It's lined at 3 in Stake.

But that's what he's here for, to be on a show that makes money and nothing else. Although of course he could show a greater level of involvement - that would be professional.
By the way, I don't understand very well the balance of forces of the participants here - is Paul the favorite because of his size? It seems to me that Diaz has a good chance anyway, after all he is a professional fighter, even if not a pure boxer.

It's not that.  Yes they're here for the money but Nate Diaz cared about winning too.  But not in this case, not for this match.  This time it's purely for the money.  He prolly didn't even train that hard.  Just a few sessions with the mits, some running, some cycling and a whole lot of weed and just chilling at home.  Lolol.  And that's why the line is wide...

Diaz could prolly use his cardio to gain an edge but Jake Paul showed he has good cardio too when he fought Anderson Silva.
1192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 11, 2023, 01:03:28 PM
^  True...  But I don't know what it is, I somehow don't like him that much.  When they announced that it's gonna be O'Malley vs him next I found myself rooting for O'Malley.  Cheesy  And the line will def be wide.  I'm thinking something like at least 2.75 for O'Malley...  Prolly more.

The match up I'd like to see for Sterling is a rematch vs Sandhagen.  I think it was a fluke when Sterling won easy in their first fight.
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: May 10, 2023, 03:11:33 PM
The main reason I am posting this now is I have noticed a LOT of anti-monero chatter particularly on twitter recently.  Almost so much that it seems odd.

Not much volume but we are in this little area where we have a directional decision to play out.

Bah I ignore CT nowadays...  A lot of what the guys say there are just stuff that basically say:  'These are my bags, they're the best, you should buy them too'.  And some of them even make long threads now for more engagement.  :/  I unfollowed all of them except for a couple.  My follow list is made up of guys who are into MMA these days.  And it's funny cos I did it to avoid all the drama in CT, only to see that somewhat the same kind of drama also happens in MMA Twitter.

And...  What's the most likely cryptocurrency BTC maxis would consider switching to if there isn't any solution to all the shenanigans going on?
1194  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for May on: May 10, 2023, 03:00:19 PM
So...  What's going on with BTC this time?  Lol.  I see that the fees have been extremely high which could start a lot of people getting annoyed.  Whales might be picking up on this and they start selling down and wait for a better scenario..?  Dunno.  I guess what I would do if I was a whale would be to open a short postion then sell off my holdings and get the price down.  So I profit in USD from both moves.

Anyway here are the support ranges I'm look at.  27k, 25k then 20k.  After that would be back to 16k or so...  dragonvslinux critique me if I'm wrong.  Thanks.

Indeed $25K could be old resistance turned into new support. There isn't a lot of volume to support that theory imo, only the 20 Week MA that admittedly price found strong support from back in March.

Mmm...  I don't think so.  It took a lot of volume to break above 25k and it could take more than the usual volume to break down below.  Dunno.  Could be BTC needs a sell off to 25k before a really strong bounce to break out above 30k just like it did when BTC went down to 20k before going up above 25k.

Anyway I feel like anything that bounces strong from 27k is a scalp long followed by anything that sells down strong from 30k is a scalp short.
1195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: May 10, 2023, 02:22:13 PM
They changed the rule to get easier overtakes, ruining an equilibrated F1 for these cars with the hope to get closer cars and easier overtakes.

After 1 year we have the most dominating car of the decade and the only car that can overtake.

Mission accomplished  Grin

Yup...  It would've been a lot better if F1 stayed with the specs it had during the season when it got really close between Verstappen and Hamilton.  Was it 2021?  But yeah, if it was the same specs, the next season and the current season would prolly be close between RBR and Mercedes too.

But no, they wanted more 'easy overtakes' and please the newer fans.  Kinda like they're dumbing the sport down.  It would've been better to let everything stay the same, remove DRS even, and let the fans understand that overtakes are planned laps ahead before the drivers get the opportunity.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Round of 16 on: May 10, 2023, 02:04:27 PM
^  You just got your answer last night.  Grin  I didn't see it live bu I watched bits of the replay.  I think Real Madrid did a pretty good job putting the pressure on City by forcing Stones to go back instead of being one player in Pep's double pivot and making it harder for City to carry the ball to KDB or Gundongan.

And since when did Guardiola start playing Stones in the midfield?  Lol.

Anybody think Real Madrid is in for the upset against City?  It could be a hard fought match with Real eeking out a greasy win.  They're lined at 5.20 to win...  BTTS and win combo is at 8.  The latter looks like a fun bet.

Some new outside octagon, UFC fighter Tony Ferguson Arrested after allegedly crashing and flipping his truck in Hollywood  Grin
This guy is a great fighter but he always looked mentally unstable to me so I am not surprised to see him in headlines again, but he is luckily not injured in this incident.

That was one crazy fighter Tony Ferguson was driving under the influence of Alcohol with his 2 other passengers well there are no reported injuries for those involve and for the bystanders, but because Ferguson was in the influence of alcohol he is sure arrested because of it, let's just wait what will be the action of the UFC for this kind of actions,

Is it ok for him to have some alcohol with his mental condition?  Lolol because you know 'Tony Ferguson is the type of guy who gives his corner team advice between rounds' or he's 'the type of guy who gives his coach a sip of water after each round'.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Seriously tho, hope he's ok.

Anyway here's another fight vid.  Enjoy...

Anybody else think Almeida can't easily just get a TD off of Roz?  A lot of sharps seem to think so.  Roz is around 30 lbs heavier than Almeida.

It is already in motion and I have seen it on Tapology it will be on August 19, and it will be on UFC 292 but there are only two bouts, for now, I think Dana White and the UFC are still arranging the fights for this event if a certain fight got canceled on another event then they will likely move it here, here is the Link so you could see it https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/101022-ufc-292 the fight for now consist of Aljamain Sterling VS Sean O'Malley for the UFC Bantamweight Championship and Cody Garbrandt VS Mario Bautista,

Why they doing Garbrandt like that?  Lolol.
