Hey Hhampuz...  With all the shenanigans happening in BTC, I wouldn't mind to get my next payment temporarily in XMR or some other decent altcoin.  But only if it's ok.

Thanks...
1202  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for May on: May 08, 2023, 03:41:45 PM
So...  What's going on with BTC this time?  Lol.  I see that the fees have been extremely high which could start a lot of people getting annoyed.  Whales might be picking up on this and they start selling down and wait for a better scenario..?  Dunno.  I guess what I would do if I was a whale would be to open a short postion then sell off my holdings and get the price down.  So I profit in USD from both moves.

Anyway here are the support ranges I'm look at.  27k, 25k then 20k.  After that would be back to 16k or so...  dragonvslinux critique me if I'm wrong.  Thanks.

@buywaytress yea @tokeweed is keeping his picks close to his heart now, but in the last few matches I expect team’s to defend more and thus I’m expecting less goal’s now so be careful with your selections.

It's not that I'm totally keeping my picks.  It's just I keep forgetting to make them lately.  Lolol.  I'm also forgetting about making my picks for our EPL pool to try to win a free bet.  :/  I guess I'm just getting less excited about football as of late and getting into the UFC a lot more.  You guys should try getting into it, it's a fun sport to follow.

As for my Majestic 7 picks, here they are:

Kane
Billing
Salah
Martinelli
Rashford
Vinicius
Welbeck.

Not going too clever.  Just straight up the most likely people to score a goal.

@tokeweed glad to see that you’re sharing your picks here and I did try following UFC but didn’t invest too much time in it however in coming months will definitely try and get a hang of it. Furthermore Kane and Salah scored and after last match defeat I feel that Rashford will definitely score in tonight’s fixture thus these are some solid picks selected by you.

I suggest trying to put some action in the match ups you like.  Doesn't have to be big.  Just bet 5 bucks on the guys you like.  If you aren't sure which fighters to pick, there are lots of info out there.  Check the OP of my UFC thread, the sites posted in there are what I always use.

And if you already have gotten your bets in, watch the event from start to finish even the match ups that you don't have a bet in.  It will give you an idea on who's good to put money in next time if their lines have value.  And it saves you tims to tape study them.  Smiley

Welterweight: Bryan Battle vs. Gabriel Green
Women's Bantamweight: Jessica-Rose Clark vs. Tainara Lisboa

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_on_ABC:_Rozenstruik_vs._Almeida

My leans at first glance without reading much into their Tapology profile or stats:

Rozenstruik:  I think it's a huge step up for Almeida who hasn't proved that he could withstand a guy with powerrr in his hands like Rozenstruik.  And Almeida is somewhat hittable.  He should initiate a TD early and asap before Roz finds his chin.

Walker
Rodriguez:  Another step up in competition for Machado and like Roz, Rodriguez has powerrr.
Dern
Morono
Brown vs McGee:  Dunno.
Williams
Stamann
Ulberg
Levy
Kim
Battle vs Green:  Dunno.
Clark

And as always, here's a vid to watch.

From the UFC 288 I would definitely gonna remember Evloev vs Lopes fight (it was his debut fight in UFC). A debut against top10. This fight should be like taking a walk for Evlovev. Howevr Lopes impressed me a lot. Each round Evloev have to survive against triangle, kimura and knee lock. If this wasnt a fight against top10, judges would have given Lopes a victory, or his opponent would tap. He was good at striking also.
The impressive thing is Lopes actually did that on short notice, without a full camp, which might be the reason he gassed so much in the latter two rounds. Yet, he still threatened submissions off of his back. If Evloev wasn't so experienced he would've likely tapped. So, Lopes has risen his stock a lot, and honestly Evloev probably lost a little bit of the hype that was behind him. However, it'll be really telling when we've seen more fights in the UFC with Lopes to really figure out where his ceiling is.

Also, Kron Gracie was a huge disappointment. I'm a massive fan of Ryan Hall so I'm not opposed to that style, but the lack of development Kron showed anywhere, but the ground was just worrying. I don't think he'll be in the UFC much longer. He didn't look particularly good on the ground either.

I think Lopes was training for another match in a regional league before the UFC gave him a call.  But yeah, he's pretty decent.  Evloev getting aways from those nasty sub attempts tho...  :/

Kron Gracie, I was more hoping for Jourdain to make a mistake in there as he usually does.  But it looks like he plugged those leaks.

Changing which RPC server you're connecting to might help.  Use the ones listed at Chainlist and see if that helps.  If the problem persists, import your wallet in another device using Metamask or another wallet software if it doesn't work.  I'm hearing Rabby is good but don't take my word for it.
1207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the Next Great 1000x on: May 07, 2023, 09:16:02 PM
^  They're all a gamble and they all deserve just a tiny bit of money.  I usually just drop 50 - 200 bucks and see how it goes.  If there's a coin where the rule 'don't invest more than you can afford' applies, it's memecoins multiplied by a thousand.  And with these things to make you 1000x, you should be in very early.  So if you don't know how to find them or how to increase your odds of finding them, don't bother.  Just trade them and get some small wins here and there if you really want to but don't expect anything huge.

But...  For continuing the lulz.  If PEPE is DOGE then what is the PEPE version of SHIB and FLOKI?

^  Just a lap to go...  :/

This is a difficult match and a big match, it is difficult to choose a bet between the two of course they both want to win, moreover Arsenal need a victory to return to the top of the table, but playing at home to Newcastle is certainly not an easy thing for Arsenal because Arsenal's road to the Premier League title League is still steep. although previously they have succeeded in overthrowing Chelsea and tomorrow they have to deal with Newcastle United.

Arsenal player Granit Xhaka asked his colleagues to be vigilant. It's understandable, because the squad nicknamed the London Cannon' had bad memories when they met Newcastle last season. Because of Newcastle, they failed to finish in the top four. I think a draw would be better to choose than picking one to win.
Arsenal recent decline in form is a factor that allows me to say that the match will end in a draw.

Despite Eddie Howe's success forming Newcastle United this season, Arsenal are still likely to win at St. James' Park in terms of their game form is very ready.
Head to head these two teams are also more dominant Arsenal.
However, Arteta knows that Newcastle United this season is very different from previous seasons, so it's only natural that they have to be careful in this very important match.

I feel challenged to place a bet on Arsenal's victory in the midst of a situation where many people doubt Arsenal victory.

At first glance, the match has the makings of a BTTS and over 2.5 goals combo bet...  With it lined at around close to a coin flip in some books, I'd say it's a fairly decent bet.  Arsenal had over 2.5 goals in their last 10 matches so that statistically assures the over 2.5 goals part.  One thing to note tho is Arsenal has been having clean sheets vs Newcastle for most of their recent matches.  So it will prolly make for an exciting bet when Arsenal get a couple in and you keep on yelling at your TV for Newcastle to start getting one in too everytime the ball is on the attacking third.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

@tokeweed I feel that we won’t witness too many goals in this fixture because both team will try and defend more and try to steal a goal on the counter. Furthermore as a Manchester United fan I’ll be happy if Newcastle drop points and Arsenal gaining points would be a big bonus because if City drop points too then it could derail their treble plans.

And you're right...  I made a small bet but I didn't watch the match.  If I did I'd surely be yelling at my TV everytime Newcastle is at the attacking third.  Lolol.

And about United, they also dropped points this weekend.  :/  I think I start betting against them whenever the other club has the genius Moyes is at the helm.  He's not gotten over his sacking and has a serious vendetta of some sort.  Cheesy
1209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 07, 2023, 08:46:46 PM
Yeah, there's a ton of underdogs which could win on the main card. I can see why this fight night is a Pay per view since it's absolutely stacked with competitive fights, that could go either way. Anyway, first fight on my betting slip, so we know the routine. I end up losing, and it kills the hype for the rest of the night Cheesy.

The underdog that pretty much got everybody surprised was Matt Frevola.  Dober's iron cast chin looks like it's slowly going away after years of taking direct hits.  His style always relied that his chin holds...  Looks like he's a fade vs up and coming hard hitters at 155.

Anyway, I always make it a habit to watch Dana White's interviews at post fight conferences just to see what's going on and what in store for the future of the UFC.  I think I'll start posting them after each event.  Enjoy...

1214  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for May on: May 05, 2023, 01:21:54 PM
Even if there are few votes on the poll , I'm surprised to see people actually voting for Bitcoin going up in price during May. May I ask , why ? What is the reason behind this ? Personally I think it's just pure hope and nothing more because Bitcoin is looking very bearish right now and another dropping in price might happening this month.

Bitcoin had several chances in the last 2 months to actually surpass and hold the 30k line but it failed every time to hold the price. This is why I prefer 2024 as the bull run right after halv happens.

Looking very bearish right now?  It's really looking like it's holding its recent gains even though there's a lot of bad stuff going on with the economy.  But yeah, I'm with you with the feeling that it could go down at any moment this month.  The question is how low will it go and if BTC claws back the lost ground right away.  I mean the momentum has to slow down at some point and it looks like it is now.

Anyway, hard to know what really happens with BTC and most of the alts.  Some memecoins are doing well tho.  PEPE is almost at 1 billion USD market cap.  And in just a couple of weeks too.  Crazy...
1215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 05, 2023, 01:07:39 PM
What do you guys think of Bournemouth to win against Chelsea at 3.35 or prolly even taking the safer route and take the draw no bet at 2.30?  I haven't really looked into it except knowing that Chelsea have been sucking lately and been losing their last 4 matches.  Momentum says it would prolly keep going..?  And Lampard isn't really some brilliant genius football manager.

Another spot could be City -2.75 at 2.37.  Guardiola and his boys will prolly start going all out now to secure the league.  I'm thinking it could go at least 3 - 0, 4 - 1.  What do you guys think?
1216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: May 05, 2023, 12:45:35 PM
-snip-

Ferrari need to bring a huge update package to their car to make their drivers be able to compete for wins. Otherwise they will continue to watch Verstappen and Perez from a long distance in every race.
-snip-

They will see, because so far Ferrari have not been able to conclusively deliver maximum performance and moreover they have not solved the problem with their tires and their main engine. Even to have to get into the top five, Lecrec and Sainz had to struggle to race their car and it seems that is their best performance. So my expectations for Ferrari to win this season and the next few seasons are not that high.

It's sad to be a Ferrari fan currently. You can see how Leclerc and Sainz has been putting their all but unfortunately, their car is really underpowered compared to Red Bull's. Only if they can come closer in the straights, but they're having that engine problem the whole season. The only way you can see Leclerc and Sainz in the podium is when something extremely unlucky happens, and that rarely happens with how well Red Bull's car performs. It will be a hard feat, but certainly not impossible as long as they make some much needed updates on the cars.

Yup that or if somehow with some stroke of luck Leclerc is in the running to be in Red Bull because Verstappen couldn't drive anymore.  Lmao.  The Red Bull team is the best right now with the new specs and the sport hasn't even switched to the new engines yet.  Mercedes technically should still have the best engine on the grid.  But I wonder what's going on and why hadn't they produced a dominating car.

Anyway another ridiculous line for Verstappen at 1.12.  Makes Perez's 7 have some value imho.  The books should prolly start doing combo bets for Verstappen like to win the race and have the fastest lap for better odds.  :/

Is he really?  The Embedded vids how that he trains in the US with Juliana Pena and a couple of other guys who look familiar.  I gotta look than one up.  And I'd like to point out that it's a 5 rounder.  Grin  So that prolly favors Muhammad more than Burns.  And remember, Burns just fought a couple or so weeks ago and he's going through another weight cut?  That has to take some toll on his body.  Don't think Burns will last the whole 25 mins with how Muhammad fights.  Dunno...  Don't bet on it, been losing these past weeks.  Wish I could get in a campaign that pays more so I could have some BTC left for memecoins.  Lolol.

Actually, I haven't got to see one of the videos yet, I was really bored making my picks but I am excited about the fight, haha I really don't know what is wrong with me, that is why I am watching some movies and series for the meantime,

Well, nice assessment on the Muhammad VS Burns fight yeah Gilbert Burns comes from a recent fight and it is against Jorge Masvidal, well the fight is a 5 rounder but I don't think that Burns could have some problems going the distance, but because he recently fought Jorge Masvidal, his body can surely suffer the consequences or he isn't able to finish the 5 round fight, but I am still going team Nurmagomedov here not for Muhammad but I want to see if what is new for Belal Muhammad,

I'm looking at the lines more closely right now...  And it looks like it's gonna be underdog city imho.  Those that I think could win are Zhumagulov, Hawes, Smith, Jandiroba, Clark, Gracie, Yan, Muhammad and technically Sterling is an underdog.  I lean Cejudo but not sure if put any money on it.

As far as underdogs that I might put money on are Zhumagulov at 2.60, Gracie at 2.50 and Yan at 2.65.  But of course I'm broke as my campaign monies all went to this memecoin called FARB and it's not looking good bruv.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Disappointing season for my team LFC, but to have to try to keep winning and hope for a miracle like Newcastle or Man Utd to blow up.

5th is probably the best we can do but it’s better than ending up in that crap Conference League.

We play Fulham & Brentford in back to back home games this week. Here’s hoping for 6 points and a slip up by Newcastle or Man Utd.

Yeah, it's ok.  You guys are in good hands with the owners and the manager.  And it's really hard to be dominant year in, year out these days as the league has become more competitive...  Even Newcastle started challenging for top 4 after years of nothing..  Sucking?  Whatever you get the point.  Lolol.

And it's kinda half expected under Klopp that you'll go through some kind of rut just like what happened with him at BVB.  The thing is just to stick with him as he'll def turn things around eventually.

Any of you guys backing Muhammad this weekend?  I was thinking Burns last week but I just find it hard to fade Muhammad.  I think he'll have the right game plan just as he did vs Thompson, Sean Brady and Luque.  :/  The line is a close to a coin flip now but could move towards Muhammad's favor imho.

I think I will be backing Belal Muhammad this time and right now he is with team Khabib Nurmagomedov now I really think he can stand a chance against Gilbert Burns I only wish his power would skyrocket this time he really needs those Dagestan wrestling techniques, but I think Coach Khabib will surely help him in this fight and teach him the right ways to handle Gilbert Burns and Khamzat Chimaev have shown some pattern on how to defeat Burns but Belal And Khamzat have different style and technique but they will rely mostly on all of Gilbert Burns previous fights,
