Senate wants to stop Bitcoin? BitcoinChina don't give a fuck!

Nah just want to make sure they get a good cut (taxes). Capital gains mainly.
1462  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My biz partner lost over 50 btc trading on MCXnow on: November 07, 2013, 12:48:46 AM
Title is misleading, you should stop at trading and not add "on mcxNOW"
+1

Title makes mcxNOW look at fault. he could just as easily blown it all on a dice site.

Not a bad nestegg unless it never exchanges or is at devcoin levels.
1464  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitmit closing in 4 weeks on: November 07, 2013, 12:35:36 AM
But what would we be buying? A fee share? If I kick in 1BTC do I get .001% of fees (flat) or if the project raises 750BTC do I get 1/750%-operational cost (proportional) ?
1465  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Bi•Fury | 5+ GH/s USB Miner [FASTEST USB MINER IN THE WORLD] on: November 06, 2013, 11:58:17 PM
I am probably wrong But I don't see these making even 50% of cost. Mining is fun but at .8xBTC I can't do it.

The fact that they are doing fraud testing makes it even less a SR.

I expect this was a false positive  Smiley

It sucks, it served well for me. I hope an adventurous investor will show up and take this on.

Also, I haven't done any calculations, but my feeling is, when charging 1.9% per trade, they should be able to make this profitable or at least have prospects to so. Maybe they had regulatory issues?
Man, I want to buy it. Maybe some other vendors/sellers will join me to crowdsource it?

Sounds like a job for https://bitcoinstarter.com/projects

https://bitdazzle.com is more of an etsy than ebay. set up a store to sell for or buy not auction items.

I can't get into my account either. Luckily no money in it but did have a bid on a blu-ray disk.

Turns out I can't read directions and was not installing zadig driver correctly Once I selected the bitfury device from the dropdown. it started working.

Now to let it settle down cause I'm only getting 1.325GH/s but slowing creeping up. cgminer 3.7.2
-edit--
well better but I may try a different cgminer later

1476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: FireFlyCoin Launched! on: November 05, 2013, 02:23:33 PM
Does FireFlyCoin work with reaver(s)?

Reavers?

I don't know what that is.
Reaver is a mining app mainly for GPU minging
1477  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Blue Fury Support Thread. on: November 05, 2013, 06:00:05 AM
Finally got my five fury's rolling this morning, I'm running CGMiner 3.7.0 on Windows 7.

After 12 hours running I have still yet to get a single hardware error, but the overall hash speeds have been a little disappointing.  I do have one miner that is pushing 2.4 Gh/s but then they go south from there.  Two are running around 2.2 Gh/s, one is clinging at 2.0 Gh/s and the slowest is chugging around 1.8 Gh/s.

I'm guessing that I (along with others) are just needing to wait for some tweaks (drivers/firmware/CG-BFG miner updates) to come along to help squeeze more out of these little monsters.

Used Zadig (win7)  drivers shows in devices as Bitfury BF1 USB Miner (COM12) down loaded CGMiner 3.7.0 Windows. But not finding Device.
