That brings me to my question. Is there a place that's like etsy, but for Bitcoin? Smiley

EDIT: Apparently bitdazzle.com is like Etsy. Now the question is, how big of a cut they take and would people buy my stuff? Smiley
From the Open a store page :

How much does it cost to list products on BitDazzle?
Listing products on BitDazzle is free. If a shopper purchases your products with bitcoin, there is currently no transaction fee from Coinbase. You can read more about their special promotion here. If a shopper checks out using PayPal or credit card, a separate transaction fee will be charged by PayPal.

Unrelated question: Where can I read about the "Activity" points here on the forums?

Well I should have a Enterpoint Cairnsmore1 Bitcoin miner later this week just to play around with. I'll use it for fireflycoin and cubits until we are ready for testing on Blake.

For now we are most believe in ORICO A3H10 hub.
Price per port is right and quality is very good.
But they will always be OFF after a power failure.
I'd recommend the ORICO P10-U3 instead.
I might have to take this recommendation back - mine just started causing Linux kernel panics every time I plug it in...

I've only had mine a week. Connected to Ras_Pi. good so far.

Hope your mom will be ok soon.

at least you know the coin has some (over?)enthusiastic followers. There are some real advantages on both sides for using a cryptocoin  on a webcam site instead of a credit card.

On the performer's side no cancellation of fee after the work was done. fast to set up and much harder for a traceback by a stalker.
On the consumer side only a payment to a coin seller like coinbase shows up on bank account. then that wallet only shows BTC move to new address no names.

I really liked the BeOS. This was in the 33Mhz 486 days. it was a very good media player and had multi processor (think core) support built in.

I also was into OS/2 but IBM agreed to kill it so MS would sell Win95 to them for their PC hardware.

as has been said here Bitmit is a ebay type store. https://www.bitmit.net/en/recent
or try bitdazzle for a more formal store https://bitdazzle.com/

Or go on your own website like these
http://bitbrew.net/ for coffee
http://knives4bitcoin.com/ for a knife.
http://www.baddogfarms.net/ for homemade soaps

I have bought from all but Bitdazzle

For shared mining search for cex.io threads in the forum. You buy GH/s it mines as part of the pool, you get the BTC it makes. You can sell the GH/s back later if you want. Note the sell price might be lower than the buy and the amount you get from 1GH/s is better than a faucet but not by a whole lot.
1499  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Mining Gear Suggestions Wanted. on: November 03, 2013, 05:44:59 PM
wait a week for post 500 million diff then see the panic selling of people that are just now receiving or about to receive 30 and 60 GH BFL devices.

should be a good gauge for a price , but then of course Diff will probably continue to rise at a high rate.

So there should be a lot coming on to ebay shortly. Just don't pay too much put in a fair bid and move on to new action if out bid.

There are a lot of different aspects to the bitcoin world.

Trading, mining and shopping are the for me the 3 main categories with lots of stuff inside each one.

Which are you interested it?
