Hmm, the biggest problem you have is that if its not flashing ck's firmware then there is something more problematic going on.

I wouldn't personally have flashed the innosilicon firmware, but thats just by going whats been advised on here, the only firmware for the Dragonmint T1 is ck's firmware AFAIK.

Haven't tried SSH personally, but you could try SSH root:dr4g0nhash
442  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: May 12, 2019, 10:50:32 AM
because there are that many shitty crooked people out there... I have the space for what I have and I have the space to add hundreds if not thousands of miners - just need the power.

So why should anyone trust any company to host their equipment, bitcoin miner or no? There are reputable hosting companies, you just do your due diligence, like any other business.

You yourself have said your plan to build a datacenter is to rent the space out to other people and "also use it for housing miners" with your attitude you would have no customers because you are an unknown entity and might be viewed as one of those "shitty crooked people out there..." I doubt you are, but you can see my point.

I've been mining with my gear with various hosting companies for over 5 years, once it became unprofitable to mine at home, and without experiencing these shitty crooked people you speak of. Oh I know they are out there you just gotta steer clear of them.

Similarly you have to have to steer clear of shitty crooked people who will  rip you off when buying and selling equipment, you don't want a repeat of the "fiasco with one buyer that cost me over 10k" so I can understand you being a bit gun shy of trusting anyone.

You live and learn with this stuff, like anything. But you shouldn't cut off your nose to spite your face, it could be that its more profitable to use a hosting company than try and build or run one yourself.

Hello everyone ! Does anyone know how to change pool settings at Dragonmint t1
everytime I try to set up necessary pool it says to me
Notice: currently using fixed pool setting.

please help me how to fix it
can't use asic  Cry Cry Cry

Did you buy this miner second hand? Sounds like it might be hacked firmware.

You could try either finding the latest Dragonmint firmware, or you could use Braiins OS

Dragonmint firmware here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3731220.0

Braiins OS firmware here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5036844.0

You can't mine Bitcoin with video cards so this question is in the wrong part of the forum.

Try here instead: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=67.0

So about a 240W difference?

What about the difference between Normal and Turbo on a Pro?
448  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Braiins OS: open-source mining firmware [S9, T1]. New release includes AsicBoost on: April 30, 2019, 05:48:24 AM
Hmm this reminds me of the R4, but just like the T9s, some R4s have different controllers where everything just breaks. Still good finding.
Did you try forcing the fan speeds slower?

Well for me, fan speed isn't an issue with this miner. And as I can't see what its temps are I'm just running them at 100% rather than risk it.

Also I think one fan needs replacing as its indicating over 9000rpm, but I doubt it's going to happen given its location and difficulty accessing it.
449  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Braiins OS: open-source mining firmware [S9, T1]. New release includes AsicBoost on: April 29, 2019, 04:58:21 PM
Took a t9 with 3 57 chips boards.
Flashed controller to s9 dec5. Then flashed to braiins. Boots up and runs.
No temps show but is appears to be running well. Fans run at full speed.

Can confirm this is working, have done the same process to a T9 (NOT T9+) that was shutting down because of overheating.

Flashed the T9 to the S9 Dec 5 firmware, then flashed brains OS over the top. Boots and runs, and you can control the chip speed and voltage, but as wolfen said you get no temp readout and the fans run at full speed.

Would be nice to get temps, but I suspect the braiins guys would need a T9 to test/tweak.

This particular machine has been problematic, and prone to overheating, so I wanted to underclock and undervolt it, but bitmain won't release AB firmware for the T9, and the old trick of going into minerAdvanced.cgi never did anything, it appears to be working for this one. I have it at 600Mhz and 8.5V

Pool size could be measured as a percentage of the network maybe, anyway this is sort of how I see it.

Super Pools are over 5EH in size > 10% of the network each
Large pools are over 1EH in size > 2.5% of the network each
Medium pools are over 100PH in size > 0.25% of the network each
Small pools are over 20PH in size < 0.1%
Tiny pools are over 1PH in size < negligible

None of this is an exact science, but I would think this pool would be more comfortable at or above the 250-300PH mark

453  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Innosilicon Terminator 3 on: April 10, 2019, 06:09:53 PM
43T is backorder, 39T should ship now at 1365. Not sure what the 1200 USD release date is for the promotional price.

Take "ship now" with a pinch of salt, I ordered a 39T end of March and they aren't shipping it till next week.

DrHaribo, is your pool Asic Boost enabled? Only asking because I running VH’s gekkoscience optimised cgminer and everytime I try and enabled the asic boost for my newpacs it runs into problems.

459  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: S15 BRAND NEW MINERS - AT TESLAWATT in NEVADA! on: April 04, 2019, 09:24:27 AM
These guys are not new, they are a well established hosting company, I've been hosting 20 S9's with them for nearly a year.

I will vouch for their authenticity. I've also just swapped out 20 S9's for 10 S15's with no problem.

I reviewed them when I first started using them here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4353171.msg42347463#msg42347463

460  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon A10 series announced on: April 03, 2019, 02:48:59 PM
Have we worked out that these are standalone devices? i.e. if you just buy one A10 then you don't need anything else? Just http to the management interface on the miner itself?

Does that mean that if you have the choice of running them individually, each unit plugged into a switch ala most other miners out there, or you can just have one plugged into the network and all the others daisy chained off that one miner via rj45 cables?
