1501  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Digital Currency Take Over on: May 09, 2018, 06:33:18 PM
I do not know whether the digital currency will take over finance, world banking or not. but I see information that some countries that ban digital currencies like bitcoin are now starting to plan their own digital currencies, I myself do not know about this situation, hopefully this will change the world's finances better.
No one is actually claiming this would be the case because it is something that will not happen. I believe there would be some form of co-existence in the long run but expecting that banks will be eradicated or the finance sector will rapidly be changed is absurd.

The problem most countries are having is decentralization, but the idea of blockchain is one thing they are not out ruling. Over time, countries will start creating their own digital currency which may be replacing printing paper currency, but that does not still change the idea of it being centralized rather than the decentralized cryptocurrencies we have now.
1502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about NEO on: May 09, 2018, 05:56:58 PM
After previous crash most of the coins are pumping but neo still not seeing Sun light after crash .
But there is lots of good nes on NEO blockchain . Some recent succesful projects were ontology , pikciochain there is lots
Even NEXO exchange going to launch soon . MOre chinese investors are interested on NEO based projects .
What do you think NEO will be Pumped soon or later ??". IS that good investment for long term ??
You are right that the average ico that uses the neo platform is always successful. I have also participated in the effect.ai and I am waiting for ico from nex. I think neo will not be pumped, but the demand for neo will increase, as many investors who want to buy it to be able to contribute in the ico based blockchain neo.
Yeah, even though they have not been much as compared to Ethereum, but they have been successful quite alright. However, it is still very early to start judging much as we can get to see a lot of things changing over time. Still with respect to the value, I believe NEO will do pretty well over time and those who have been holding will really be happy they did. Just some current stability does not hinder the future growth of any coin. Basically being at stable price levels always lead to another good rally. This may happen with NEO too in coming day. Expect the positives.
1503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market does not look good! on: May 09, 2018, 04:47:00 PM
you are wrong, if bitcoin down then other coins will not necessarily come down. that's my experience in the trading world. all hanging dump on the coin
It really seems you have not had much experience in the cryptocurrency trading world for you to have said that. Most of the altcoins are tied to bitcoin value and the time they get to move up is when bitcoin is consolidating for a longer period and if you do not know that already, then you still have a lot of experience to gain.

All the above, it is all about the timing, and as long as you can play it well, you should be fine. I believe this is the period for alts anyway, so we may see a lot of them bouncing really good in a short period of time.
1504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency is fastest way to get rich ? on: May 09, 2018, 02:48:18 PM
While this is true, you should be cautious and only invest the amount you are ready to lose. Given the volatility of this unregulated market, anything could happen. Your hopes could literally be shattered overnight.
It was that idea a lot of people brought into the cryptocurrency space that has made them not to use their head and ended up losing huge amount of money at the end. It is one thing to get rich investing in cryptocurrency and it is another thing to be very cautious where one is really investing in. As cool as it sounds with the way some projects can hit it big in the long run, we also have to understand that one can also lose it big as well in cryptocurrency, so it is both ways.
1505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think Eth will break $2,000? on: May 09, 2018, 01:41:27 PM
When do you think Eth will break $2,000?
Funny question. I will be able to give you an answer if you can at least give me an answer to this question. What do you think will be your status in the next few years ?

It is always very funny that we simply get to ask some funny questions like everyone here can foresee what could happen in the future. Eth is a good project, whether or not it will end up hitting $2k, no one knows but at least we hope it does, let alone expecting that it is going to be hitting that in a particular point in time ? Come on !
1506  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: May 09, 2018, 05:40:48 AM
What do you think, how many people are ready to sell their goods or services on crypto? Let's say that we have service which help quick and easy to build online store and sell for cryptocurrency. What kind of reasons can motivate people to start a crypto business?

Actually, there are certain reasons that are withholding small businesses to sell their goods and services in exchange of crypto. One is that many of these businesses are not yet fully aware of the advantages and of how crypto works. Second, if these businesses are duly registered, they might find it hard to reconcile crypto payments with the existing laws in their countries especially if crypto is not that widely accepted yet.
Yeah, awareness is one thing and even those who are, may be scared of the rate of volatility of cryptocurrency and the disadvantages it might bring to them if things go awry in the market except they quickly make conversion back into fiat which is not that easy unless you are making use of services like bitpay but if we are looking at the time it takes to get the transaction done, most especially during spikes, that may be a difficult one.

Nevertheless, I feel there is nothing not worth trying, I have seen some small businesses finding a way to get this done and I sure do know they would have known how to go about it.
1507  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is FUD? YOU FELL FOR FUD!!! on: May 09, 2018, 03:43:42 AM
Only those who are stupid enough to always fall for FUD or the shenanigans of the media which I believe are paid by whales or some big organizations to shed off weak hands while manipulating the market will have themselves to blame. It is idiotic for someone to keep complaining that some of these rich dudes have been stealing from them and even at that still succumbing to FUD and gladly giving them their hard earned money all in the name of FUD. It just sucks!
1508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why choose LONG-TERM TRADING? on: May 09, 2018, 02:49:57 AM
I agree with some of the things you have said with long term trading and I would want to buttress on the fact that it takes some level of knowledge as well for anyone who wants to at least thread this path most especially in this cryptocurrency world.

Many people just pick any coin or token to invest in based on their quantity and not the quality and that is pretty absurd as they are the types that always end up bag holding shit coins. One thing I like about long term trading though is the fact that it separates you from all the crazy noise in the market as all you just have to do is to look for the accumulation period and buy in and wait for those FOMO periods.
1509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what advice? on: May 08, 2018, 05:32:27 PM
Have you learn sufficiently and prepared for trading live. If you have , then practice your strategy without first investing any real money, if you are comfortable with it, then you start with the amount you can afford to lose. Before you can invest a bigger money into trading.
Best short advice I have seen so far. One mistake is people sure do get to learn, but they learn so little that they think that is all they need to start trading and then when things are not going for them as planned, they always end up messing things up at the end of the day which is why they should not even be trading in the first place without being certain they have been able to learn as much as possible to be able to finally find a strategy that work best for them and they even make the silliest mistake of going in big in their first attempt.
1510  Economy / Economics / Re: Feeling bitter in banks? on: May 08, 2018, 04:49:24 AM
I have notice that some of us here in the forum have this kind of bitterness feeling in banking sectors. They always compare banks and cryptocurrency and to the extent that they want to eradicate banks and to be replace by crypto. Are you sick and tired of reading this kind of post?
I am sick and tired or reading reiterated posts and not just those that have to do with only banks lol. However, this has been a very hot topic for a while now as so many people have shown some high level of disgust for the banking sector which I do not blame anyone as I have that huge one for them too considering how they with the government has just decided to make life difficult when it comes to making transaction over the years and how the banking sector has been used a tool for monopoly.
1511  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Cryptocurrency on: May 08, 2018, 04:11:27 AM
Have you heard that telegram created an internal cryptocurrency ? Imo this is the next big trend, I believe that amazon, google and facebook will follow that in the future, and Bitcoin will be dethroned
Until now I have not heard the news at all but I am still convinced that the presence of bitcoin will be difficult to overthrow with the problem Imo because with the rapid development of bitcoin already have a lot of enthusiasts and make bitcoin in the future will continue to experience glory.
well, so far so much news about cryptocurrency. that is, they can not underestimate this, as it continues to grow. I think the future of cryptocurrency depends on the user. but I think that cryptocurrency will have good potential to bring about good change.
The growth is something that can obviously not be denied, looking at how things have been turning out over the years, and the whole market cap growing hugely year in year out.

I believe that as we keep seeing this, we should expect a very bright and great future for cryptocurrency as a whole with some pretty huge potential for a market that may likely overtake even stocks and could literally be the future stock. Probably I am thinking too big but this is something that is possible with the way things are going.
1512  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you feel the rise of BTC anytime soon? on: May 07, 2018, 04:43:16 PM
Well yeah that's for sure because people now are just keeping asking when will they buy a bitcoin and it seems that they are really interested into it. The new generation of Bitcoin Investors will rise soon and bitcoin will definitely rise too.
Those who are smart investors are not here asking foolish questions as they already know what to do and they have been in the investment game for a very long time. This is not about feelings, and this is all about trend. People always end up feeling like they already know what the future hold for bitcoin which is very wrong.

It is a pretty volatile market, but in the long run, the great future still stands and nothing is changing that which is why I believe no one should be bothered about the current moment but the future.
1513  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may continue to move higher on: May 07, 2018, 03:20:04 PM
The bitcoin price increase will run slowly and I think the positive trend of bitcoin price increases will continue to run until the end of the year.
Actually, no one should even be expecting some pretty huge run any moment now as bitcoin would obviously end up doing what it like and going the way it prefers anyway but looking for a swift run upward with the level of uncertainty in the market is something no one should be expecting at all. We have all seen how previous days have played out with some unexpected outcomes and that is how bitcoin purely is and the whole cryptocurrency market as a whole; let's just hope we end up having a good movement upward for a while.
1514  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just sold all my BTC because on: May 07, 2018, 01:17:13 PM
I'll do you one better. Your poor ass never had any bitcoin.

You are here to spread lies and try to confuse newbies into thinking abojt Ethereum and BCash.
Ethereum serves completely different use cases and it should never be a choice between BTC and ETH. You should own both depending on your interest while BTC is a must.

BCash on the other hand is just another alt-coin being propped on Roger Ver's sly marketing and media's ignorance. Only a fool would trade their BTC for Bcash at this point.
Lol, apparently he even saw the bullshit theory from somewhere and decided to paste it here. It is appalling how some people really come here to drop all their shitty post all in the name of trying to give us the bitcoin this and that theory and why people should be careful.

Anyone who is not trading would not even bother and anyone who is holding long will see the low as an opportunity to buy more as long as they understand the future. A trader on the other hand already know how to blend with trend, so all these are just some bullshit theories being played out by some who just do not have any better job than spreading FUD.
1515  Economy / Economics / Re: The global eradication of Shitcoins. on: May 06, 2018, 05:36:46 AM
The "JULLAR" platform allows an investor to return money to his pocket spent on Shitcoins and make a decision, leave money in his pocket or redistribute his own funds, to reliable companies, for a crypto community.
I do not understand! Then what does Jullar get to gain in all this. At least, if someone who has been bag holding shitcoins decides to get a return on the money spent, that obviously will be to get the present value and if the coin is still on the market anyway. So, in this case, and assuming that Jullar is holding the shitcoins at the end while the so called person ends up getting something for it and redistributing into other cryptocurrency, what would be to gain from here? Just my thoughts!
1516  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When will the bull market start? on: May 05, 2018, 11:08:57 AM
The last time we dipped to 6k the market did bounce and got to almost 12k. This time we held the 6k level again and we are bouncing yet again. I personally wont consider it a bull market until we can break the 12k level convincingly. At that point I can definitely say it's a bull market again. Weekly charts, we are entering a tightening pattern and it will break in the next few weeks, if it breaks bullish I would say that's a strong indicator.
The 12k is actually the point we should really be targeting right now, considering the way the market has really behaved for a while. Nevertheless, I would not really be expecting much from the market in a very short while since I believe that spot will not be an easy resistance to break and until then before we even get to see any form of bull market. Before that, I am sure we are going to accumulate for a while before even thinking of the next step forward.

The market values of almost all the crypto coins have started rising higher and that the market has started turning into green which is an indication that the coming days will bring more better news for all of us.
Yes, from that we can assume that bull market is already has started. But I do see many people are not getting satisfied with the current levels of bitcoin as they all want bitcoin to test its previous all-time high price levels. For them, the bull market will start only after that.
1517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know when to BUY? on: May 05, 2018, 06:01:02 AM
I think it's very hard to actually do that but of course there's ways to actually get one but not super accurate  but it's worth the risk but of course you can both loose or gain.
It is not as hard as people always think; knowledge is all that is needed to trade every market. I am not a full blown trader, but my idea has always been trend following and with the help of the Moving averages, I have always been able to make some good decisions.

Now, I do not over work myself, as I always believe the market is always going to be some steps ahead even with the MAs, but one way or the other, I utilize it to increase my long term holdings for the future by playing with those fluctuations.
1518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market on: May 04, 2018, 10:52:35 AM
How much of an increase is considered as a "bull market"
A bull market generally is when you get to see the price tending towards the uptrend and is going up until further notice. The difference here is that when the market is in the buying spree mode, then it is the bulls at work, and once it is in the selling spree mode, then the bears are at work. However, there is what we call a rally, which can come in both ways and this happens in the case where things are just going out of hand either up or down as the case may be.
1519  Economy / Economics / Re: How to manage the risk in investing cryptocurrency? on: May 03, 2018, 09:02:09 AM
Any investment is risky, and if you want to reduce risk, you need to do research before you invest.

If you want to invest in crypto money, you can choose a portfolio to reduce risk.
Yes, if we are not ready to face some risk then we cannot go for any type of investments too. All we may do is, we can eliminate some degree of risk by choosing a right investment opportunity. Bitcoin must be a that kind of one investment opportunity.

Risk is actually attributable to every investment, and it is just the level that differs. Also, the risk that each person decides to take based on their pocket is also something that should be considered. Once you understand the risk involved in every investment, managing the risk is something anyone should obviously be ready for and the only way to go about that is to fill yourself with knowledge, invest wisely and see how those things can take you in the long run.
1520  Economy / Economics / Re: Stanford University Business Full-Time Cryptocurrency Course on: May 03, 2018, 07:53:46 AM
This is really a good one for the whole community at large as we can see all over the world that this is already being accepted as the future and the next stage of evolution in all sectors of the society. I believe they are not the first and I am sure they would not be the last. This is a spot to reckon with as there would be a lot of knowledge to gain from it for those who would want to be the part of the future anyway, so I believe it is just a start.

As expected, academic side development of cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies are happening which will definitely spread awareness on various aspects of cryptocurrencies. Maybe these will push cryptos toward main stream adoption somehow.
