1281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I learn to be a professional trader? on: July 06, 2018, 02:57:48 PM
searching for articles online, youtube videos, bitcointalk forum and constant practice of trading will help you very well
Yeah, the good thing about our present world right now is that there is lots of information you can always make good use of and learn so much to get better over time.

It is just a pity that a lot of people today are lazy to learn and they just want to do things their own way and expecting that making mistakes from experience will help them get better but it does not work out that way unfortunately. As long as the market is concerned, it involves making quick decisions based on knowledge and even with that knowledge you can still make mistakes, let alone, not having the knowledge at all.
1282  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who believes in HODLING? on: July 06, 2018, 11:24:31 AM
I believe holding is the most important when trading. Holding might sound easy but it isn't, when trading you are considering every ounce of your money to grow or not. Taking a risk in trading might be difficult if you don't have a plan. Please plan all your movements to ensure your not the one to blame.
Holding and trading are two different things. When you go the HODL way, you are holding on to dear life for as long as you want to, irrespective of all the fluctuations in the market, and with that, you are simply stuck with it till you decide to sell at a level you feel is okay for you to do so.

Nevertheless for traders, you are taking advantage of the fluctuations, but this still depends on the level you want to trade from day to long term, that warrants how patient you should be as the case may be.
1283  Economy / Speculation / Re: What effects the bitcoin price? on: July 06, 2018, 07:10:55 AM
Bitcoin's price is mostly influence by FUD! We must not hard the truth because people view forcehood as truth and they do invest along that line.  Sometimes fundamental issues and technical issues also affect bitcoin price and that is why we must read news to know what is happening in the market.
FUD has its place but in my opinion FUD is more a contributing factor, when the price was going up very fast at the end of the previous year no amount of FUD was enough to stop the growth of bitcoin, but when the price began crashing and FUD appeared the price went down even faster, so the mood of the bitcoin users is very important to determine how sensitive they are to FUD at a particular point in time.
FUD will always have a part to play in every market, most especially if it is a new one that can even easily be manipulated. This being a decentralized space makes the effect easier as we get to see the price volatility dancing to negative news pretty fast than even positive news.

Everything balls down to the whole market as a whole and for the fact that there is nothing driving price than just pure speculations, we could just say that for now, FUD speculations do have a huge effect mostly. In my experience, small things like whales manipulations or FUDs may give short term impacts but in long terms the common people and their psychology alone will triumph.
1284  Economy / Speculation / Re: When is bitcoin bouncing back on: July 06, 2018, 05:44:07 AM
As far as i remember, Bitcoins value bounces back just few minutes and return to its stagnant value for about three times this year. The consecutive rising of the price doesnt happen from the start of the drop until now and maybe , the price would become lower a little bit more. The value cannot be determine by anyone but one thing is for sure, it will rise again in time.

this situation will be like this for this week and I think bitcoin is not bouncing too high and only getting up for a little and then down back to the price before. maybe we can see the price will bounce in the next few months because I see that the price is not going to the higher price in this few days ago until now. I am afraid that the price will get down again in the next week because we are not seeing the price is break another high price in this few days so the chance to get down is possible.
Anything we are going to be seeing anytime soon is going to be some sideways consolidation and I would not be expecting anything too much than some slow movement towards the next resistance. However, in this case, we can see the possibility of seeing the altcoins have some pretty huge growth before we may eventually see the next downtrend in bitcoin as the case may be. Let's just see how things end up anyway at least for now before even getting to that point.
1285  Economy / Economics / Re: The Mysterious Chinese Bitcoin Whale Hoarded 94,000 BTC on: July 05, 2018, 05:18:50 AM
A staff member from a Chinese Bitcoin forum raised eyebrows upon the discovery of a wallet address that has received over 90,000 Bitcoin since the end of March

Read more: https://cryptovest.com/news/mysterious-chinese-bitcoin-whale-hoarded-94000-btc/
I mean i really find it hard to believe that one person could actually hold that much amount of bitcoin, since the blockchain network is technically anonymous there is no way to find out whether this wallet belongs to one person or an exchange website for example, and they say that the BTC came from tow different exchanges, means probably they are using tow address and this one as a backup, because there is no way that one person could get that amount just from exchange.
Why should that be so hard to believe ?
There are lots of rich business men who believed so much in bitcoin right from the onset and invested a lot in it.If you have invested $10k back then when it all started, we know that is like a chicken change to someone who was wealthy right from the beginning.

Moreover, there are so many whales and there are so many wallet with huge number of bitcoins than that which are not even exchanges, so all these ones about someone mysterious or someone being a Chinese and having a lot in his wallet is just absurd.
1286  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain and Medicine in Africa on: July 04, 2018, 08:14:57 AM
It will take a time for make blockchain to help Africa,Because Governments & it's politicians always push back these types of advantages that can get good future for poor peoples. Hope world can give some support to these poor peoples & blockchain can make good future for all.
Obviously, we would not expect things to just kick in like that and just like we can see all over the world and not just in Africa.

Yes, there would be some countries that will be quick to adjust and start making use of the real life cases of blockchain technology which is understandable due to the available infrastructures which could help with the assistance of the government which we know is lacking in most part of Africa, but that does not mean a lot is not being done in some developing nations in Africa. Rome was not built in a day, so we obviously cannot expect blockchain to just cause an evolution in a day.
1287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 03, 2018, 02:38:11 PM
I think this might one of the years where Brazil does something amazing again. I know its not the days of ronaldo, rivaldo, cafu and so forth but they seem like they bond very well. They seems like friends got together to play. They do give out that team chemistry. Belgium seems like it would be easy but France is really strong. I still can't believe Spain and Portugal got eliminated, I was really expecting both of them to go a long way into finals.
1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: July 03, 2018, 02:08:43 PM
Wow what an unbelievable free agency this year. We were all expecting Lebron to go somewhere, quite possibly lakers but I guess noone saw Cousins deal. Warriors are becoming so unentertaining these years. I get that without Durant they lost but they were still great. With the addition of durant they became the best team ever assembled, now they add Cousins on top of that? The only missing position ?

Curry-Klay-Durant-Green-Cousins will win it all without a trouble. People keep talking about how Cousins got injured and all that but its Cousins, his worse play will still be better than zaza or mcgee. Even if lakers get kawhi, it will not be enough at all. All there is to hope is for warriors to break apart next year when contracts are up.
1289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin price based on bitcoin price? on: July 03, 2018, 08:22:16 AM
Due to the fact that Bitcoin is a basic asset for almost all altcoins, the correlation between them is very large. While Bitcoin's dominance in the market will remain at the same high level, the trend will continue to exist. I think everything will change with the development of other basic and strong cryptocurrencies.
The correlation is simply because of how traders perceive the market generally. Altcoins are more like a pump and dump market and most times, since the perception has been like traders quick to dump altcoins for bitcoin in a case where they can move into fiat when bitcoin is going down, or simply get into bitcoin in a bull run, makes it impossible for the altcoins not to suffer from any serious huge movement from bitcoin like someone stated. This makes it more like the altcoins getting the hit most of the time based on bitcoin's movement.
1290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A trader's heart on: July 03, 2018, 07:51:52 AM
When you are a trader in this market. The first thing you do is learn. Learn about technical analysis, capital management and how to control your emotions.
Maybe, You are good trader. You can be a very disciplined person when trading, you always stoploss and take profit at 5-10% point.
But have you ever forgot yourself? it's just for a short moment. That moment is you falling in case with nothing to lose - a gambler's mentality. You drunk blood and completely forget about the discipline you set before.( Especially when you join the margin )
Why do you join the trade in crypto? This is due to fluctuate strongly of this market, "high risk and high profit ". And there is a bit of gambling in it. RIGHT?
In trading we can't maintain a perfect strategy it will change according to the market condition.yes it is like gambling but not completely here we need to have skills as well to become successful. And then don't be too greedy accept that what you made from your investment and look further for the future trades.
Not at all. As a trader, you must always be ready to make use of different strategies to consider the possibility of a market movement and be able to use that to your advantage. You have to always be smart to adapt quickly to a market at any point in time which is what makes a professional trader different from a newbie trader.

It is a lot of risk, but with great knowledge, trading is always a worthy one against taking risks since you will be making a lot from it. But this does not mean we may go blind with trading which may bring heart attacks. With knowledge means, we must do it in a systemic way in more particularly in a systematic plans.

1291  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchanges will survive? on: July 03, 2018, 06:04:01 AM
I put my hope in cex. Can’t say that it’s the only reliable exchange, coz I’ve heard of different ones, which are often discussed and recommended, so I assume they may be good too. But, honestly, I haven’t tried ‘em yet. So, this one is my first exchange and I haven’t faced any problems with it so far.
You have not tried them yet and you are putting your hope in them. Who are you ? god of hope ? Cex is just one of those exchanges which I really would not even want to be holding so much in for so long. There are other exchanges like binance, bittrex that one can at least have some little bit peace of mind, even though no exchange can be trusted, but at least, you can still trade with ease without having to get messed up in a way.

You are contradicting yourself a whole lot though, because you said you have not tried them and then you are saying it is one of your first exchange and you have not had any problem with them so far. You need some deliverance mate.
1292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin reach $100,000 dollar before the end of the year? on: July 03, 2018, 02:44:37 AM
Many participants of Cryptocurrency market who could read chart predict that the price of bitcoin will reach 100,000 dollar before the end of the year. What is your opinion? Are u positive or negative to this opinion?

Everyone of us is entitled to our own opinion, speculation, prediction, and analysis of the price of Bitcoin at the end of this year. But it is one thing to speculate or predict, and quite another to simply wish or imagine out of pure whim. It is clear for me that $100,000 is too much to ask for. It is simply beyond logic that Bitcoin will make a giant leap from a few thousand to a hundred thousand US Dollar in just a matter of 6 months.
We may be entitled to our opinion quite alright, but some opinion is just absurd. I am not sure where the OP must have read of such prediction, but as far as I am concerned, those kinds of predictions are not the type any sane person will be coming up with.

Market do not just start hitting new ATHs like that after a strong correction and I simply find it amusing to see that people certainly just like deceiving themselves in cases like this and expecting the impossible when the possibility right now is to even go the other way. I hope he finds what he is looking for.
1293  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fundstrat’s Robert Slyumer: Bitcoin Must Rally Through $6,300 on: July 03, 2018, 01:36:45 AM
Really hard to hit $25k for bitcoin if you only base at the current trend, prediction might be too much but it still possible. Hopefully bitcoin can sustain its level beyond the support level or else the market will continue to dump. Let's see this in the 3rd quarter to confirm if its still possible to make a new all time high, or make a new all year low. Cheesy
That is the problem with these so called guys who think they can just predict the market based on assumption. Nothing works that way and all they are doing is gambling to see if what they ended up saying would end up right so they can say they told you so. Nothing is predictable in this market and so far, we are still in a huge downtrend, no matter how crazy the market shows some break out, and unless the bulls are set to do some pretty good job in convincing smart moneys, I do not see much volume coming into this market.
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is the market so sluggish? on: July 02, 2018, 06:16:49 AM
Why panic when it is clear the market is  been driven  by whales who come in to drive prices to the level that interest them. I will urge you to continue to hold your ether or other cryptocurrencies and wait till some few months, things will turn to normal.
Yes, the only concern anyone can do is to learn how they can get the best out of the market rather than being a victim of whales’ manipulation. So far, the market has gotten terribly bad and it may even go down the more, but rather than panic because of that, one can use it as a means to get the best value and hold on to it patiently.

At least, holding the dip is far better than holding right from when the drop started at the peak. This market may seem like so sluggish but not for all the people who are trading with skills. Yes, if trade with skills and know what we are doing in the name of trading then there will be no issues about sluggish market conditions.
1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Hunters the cause of token dumping ? on: July 02, 2018, 04:39:48 AM
I wouldn't blame bounty hunters dumping their coins and tokens for the big price dips. I blame most of it on price manipulation by the big whale investors.
What a lot of people are not understanding is that, if the market price ends up getting below ICO price, why is it that the investors still partake in ICOs and not at the end of the day wait for the token or coin to hit the market before investing since it would be dumped. They are simply just the ones dumping at market price, and since they got in cheaper during the first stage of the ICO which they even got huge bonuses depending on how much they bought, the bonus some of the whales got alone will give them their whole capital back with huge profit, when they dump.
1296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 9 Rules of Crypto Trading on: July 01, 2018, 08:21:55 AM
9. Never pay attention to FUDs.
10. Don't ever panic sell/buy.
11. Learn to be patient, this is a game of patience and whoever will be the most, will harvest it's worth.
12. DYOR and educate yourself.
It is better to just stick to the last one. Usually, when you are a good trader and you are able to learn as much as you can while practicing for a while to gain confidence, and trade the market well, there is no way you will not be comfortable with your strategy most especially if it gives you winning most of the time, and with that, researching, analyzing and trading the market based on that would be an easy thing.

The problem is that a lot of traders skip the education part this days hoping to just start and expecting that the result will just come out nice.
1297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Updates its Ad Policy : Non-ICO Ads Allowed on: July 01, 2018, 07:02:36 AM
Quote
Any business wishing to advertise crypto-related products and services must now prove that they are eligible by filling out a form called “Cryptocurrency Products and Services Onboarding Request” as well as providing proof of ownership of the domain(s) associated with this application.
Even though this has just been officially stated, it is obvious this is something that has been going on or at least tested for a while now and same goes for Google as well since the article also mentioned that, as I have seen some verified ads as well as pages after the initial ban.

However, this is a good move as this is what I have expected anyway and as long as an ICO can show its legitimacy, it will at least help clean up the space from scam ICOs trying to use the space for their devilish reasons. Obviously, these guys cannot ignore the revenue being generated from these ICO adverts, so banning them completely is not a good business option.
Yeah, it is even more interesting to me that they are at least going to be doing verification before allowing any advert when related to ICOs. Just like you said, this will be a general good move which will still in a way be helpful for the space as there will still be some form of sanity.

At least, instead of the same old way of doing things, a lot will be different now as you can at least trust the legitimacy of the project being advertised in a way. I do see some restrictions and regulations are always good against scammers.
1298  Economy / Economics / Re: regulation and legalization of cryptocurrency on: July 01, 2018, 04:13:43 AM
I suppose, that, if every country in the world would instantly accept the same laws an dregulations, the life would became so much easier, if you will be able to trade this way.
Actually, some countries would be quick and smart enough to take steps into at least being a part of the space since they realize the benefit it could bring for the economy of the country, while some will just be so adamant and stupid enough even with their draining economy.

This is one country that is at least giving it a shot, at least it is a start and that is lenient enough to me, which shows they are interested to see the space develop and sanely be a part of it including the citizens, not like a dead economy like Zimbabwe trying to block every means to see cryptocurrency being used. I really pity countries like that.
1299  Economy / Economics / Re: Lost Bitcoins on: July 01, 2018, 02:30:21 AM
When will we hit a critical point at which there's just too many lost bitcoins due to someone loosing their wallets, dying or corrupted hard drives and etc? At some point this is bound to happen right?
I know that for the time being, low circulating supply means that the coin will increase in value but how low can it get before it starts to give diminishing returns and actually inflict damage to the system? What would happen to crypto in general if all of the coins and altcoins will suffer the same ending?
The more new altcoin I'm sure the blockchain system will not disappear and maybe the bitcoin will not disappear somehow later. With bitcoin we can all improve our finances, so I'm sure the bitcoin and blockchain system will be preserved because cryptocurrency is somehow a very valuable asset.
Nothing can disappear and moreover, only the coin in circulation will end up being spent in such instances and in the case where things end up going massive in terms of adoption, it simply would help to make the ones in circulation increase more in value and may be in that case, 1 satoshi may end up being equivalent to a dollar but with respect to the OP's concern, it sure would not have a negative effect, just that it can bring about some huge regret for those who lost and are still alive as well as for those who aren't but their family could not access it.
1300  Economy / Economics / Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin? on: July 01, 2018, 01:47:21 AM
when people talk about the value of crypto, then there will be "disappointment" and "opportunity" the two words are always associated either with prices rising or falling. they are successful adlah those who can minimize disappointment and take advantage of opportunities of course in trading. maybe now is an opportunity for those who want to invest crypto.
You know the price of crypto has been very long time at a cheap price and many people have said a few months ago that it is currently an opportunity to buy. and many people have bought because the price is cheap. but the price does not recover. that is being complained by many investors
It is always better for each and every one to understand the nature of the market before even investing at all. Some may tell you it is good to invest, but that is based on their own mentality for long term investment and how they foresee bitcoin in the long run, while some rather than looking at the long term, just simply focus on the short term, whine and complain about everything. As long as you are not a trader, you should also learn to have investment strategy even in a downtrend and know how to distribute your capital when buying the dips as that is the way you can do better.
