I just check the forum and feel nearly 90% to 95%  is all full of shit and spam so just banning few countries is not enough as they have nothing to talk technically or any thing related to bitcoin or crypto mostly full of just repeated posts or few are talking good about forum and yobit nothing special is happening on this forum.

The strange thing is that troll boxes usually thrive and in BTC-e's case you had to actually have money on the site to be able to post. Perhaps it's because of the increased potential for pumping and dumping and scaring people.

They should experiment with a live messaging feature, not that I want them to succeed.
1882  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk Future on: February 25, 2020, 05:02:55 PM
Mods doesn't seem to do a good job as 99% of the forum is a spam fest.

If they removed the spam there wouldn't be anything left even though if I were Yobit it would be causing me physical pain to actually pay these fucking dunderheads for their 'hard work'.

Something has to snap soon. It'll be an object lesson in why buying your way to community success never works. It would be interesting to see what a non paying week would look like but I guess most of them don't understand Russian or English so probably won't notice.

How are these supposed to make it dangerous? Not really dangerous unless abused.

I can think of a couple of people who were severely fucked up by it, as in the lights being on but no one really being home any more. They went from bright young things to people who sit in their bedrooms and rarely open their mouths. One turned out like that after being dosed once. The other caned it for a few weeks and never came back either.

They were possibly predisposed to psychiatric problems, but I've always been a bit amazed at how willing people are to tamper with their infinitely delicate brain chemistry. I'll never touch it.
1884  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Warning becareful with coinbase. new problems found on: February 25, 2020, 01:45:10 PM
Not to hijack this thread but is there a place / thread that shows what exchanges require what KYC for what limits?
Might be nice for a sticky thread so we just have to point to it.

Not my knowledge but it would be a pretty short thread and maybe not a great idea to give people a false sense of security. If I were on an exchange that had any hint of KYC I'd do it. The middle ground of waiting to have it sprung on you is not a reassuring place to be.
1885  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Warning becareful with coinbase. new problems found on: February 25, 2020, 12:23:30 PM
Your funds are frpzen.

You probably need to do kyc (send some documents)

I've never heard of Coinbase doing that. You're either verified or you're not which to me is vastly more preferable than being kept in no man's land.

They won't tell you why your account is frozen and the likelihood is OP will be told to withdraw, go away and not come back. They won't lose any money.
1886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 25, 2020, 11:01:49 AM
I disagree on both points. Are we forgetting about the first fight where Wilder almost KO-d fury twice?

But that's all he's got. He's would need to start from scratch to put together more skills than simply waiting to unleash one huge punch. Most of his matches were a waiting game until that moment can happen. Since he didn't get started until 20 and is now 34 it would be pretty miraculous for him to be reborn as a fully rounded boxer.

If he retains his main trainer then it's clear he's not very interested in changing or learning and the talk of going out on his shield is daffy. I would've had a corner clear out just like Fury.

I've no doubt he'll be sharper next time. That may not make him any better a boxer.
1887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 24, 2020, 11:50:05 PM
Well, according to some news outlets Wilder has said there's going to be a third fight. He's also fired the guy who threw in the towel/saved his bacon. It's talking about a July date. The cause of his wobbly legs was his unusual ring entry costume according to him. Fair enough.

Yall sound too anxious to sell..

Many people on this thread will have been locked into BTC for a long, long time. You cannae blame them for wanting to get partially off the ride after this much time.

I would vastly prefer to spend than sell but for the things most desire - property, erectile dysfunction implants, hotrod mobility scooters - that's going to be hard going for a lengthy while yet.
1889  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk Future on: February 24, 2020, 08:02:35 PM
Yobit is still interested in https://cryptotalk.org forum as seen on twitter recently been tweeted by yoda 1% IB holders.
They are trying to divert traffics from this forum to https://cryptotalk.org but it is not as easy as they thought, i guess they are now discouraged which shows in their non payment of the forum posters.

I would really love to know if any non micro earning zombie clicked on it, had a browse through it and thought 'hey, this is some quality shit. No way am I returning to Bitcointalk now.'

They've got a pretty narrow window to haul it out of shitsville before they stop paying and the place turns into a ghost town. There's a million dead forums for every thriving one. I can well imagine popping back there next year and finding nothing but an unmoderated scattering of penis pill ads.
1890  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Talk About Getting Screwed.. #Mt.GoxStrikesAgain on: February 24, 2020, 07:55:51 PM
this topic is already over why we still talk about it

Not a single Mt Gox user has been paid back yet ergo it might still be a long, long, long way from being over.

I wonder whether it would have gone better in another legal system or whether this would be the same wherever.

I have lifestyle goals?

Yes.

The purchase of several big presents for ME.
1892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 24, 2020, 07:42:54 PM
I think you can argue this fight wasn't won in the ideal way with the towel being thrown in. I would think the third fight would be far bigger in terms of viewership/Pay-per view.

The alternative would possibly have been him finishing the fight as a twitching vegetable. It was a pretty emphatic victory. The first fight raised questions. This one answered them for good.

I'm sure a third fight would do fine. It wouldn't have anywhere near the same urgency and drama.
1893  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Talk About Getting Screwed.. #Mt.GoxStrikesAgain on: February 24, 2020, 07:38:58 PM
Right and totally off original subject and I don't want spread fud or whatever but people need to know that there is a lot of these bitcoins already gobbled up by prior "happenings". I don't know the stats on the Mt.Box debacle but I'm fairly certain that's a large chunk gone right there.

They've stated that all the costs have been met, them selling off vast chunks to meet them is what people enjoyed blaming large price falls on. What's left over is what will be going back to people. I guess that depends on the outcomes of these lawsuits though.
1894  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-02-24] Binance CEO Makes Rare Price Prediction—Says This Is When To Buy on: February 24, 2020, 11:46:47 AM
Exchange owners of all people should surely know that predicting is a dumb business, and they make money no matter what the market conditions are anyway.

If I had a public platform I would go no further than things like 'I think Bitcoin is nice.'

1895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 24, 2020, 11:35:51 AM
I'm almost certain he'll take the rematch. Not only will he want the belt back but each fight in a trilogy always make more money with each fight. There's just more buzz and interest.

I'm sure there'll be interest and no doubt a boatload of money to be made but I can't see the interest being at a similar level. A third fight pops when the previous two left the questions unanswered.

Both this and Ruiz answered the question in the second event. In terms of actual narrative a third one would be pretty redundant.
1896  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [20-02-2020] Attorney General Says Banks Can’t Refuse Services To Crypto Firms on: February 24, 2020, 10:52:59 AM
You should not deprive you from sleep this much. The worse thing it could happen on the forum would be people thinking that you are trolling. But in the real life you can get into serious trouble.

It's free and legal high. I was watching Cape Fear with someone after not having slept for a few days. I had to be talked out of calling the police because I thought it was happening in real time in front of me.
1897  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What do you guys think about Bitfinex? on: February 23, 2020, 10:54:37 PM
You've got to hand it to them for their resilience but no one should be going anywhere near them if they can help it.

They've had giant hacks, banking failures, murky ownership and jurisdiction and there's got to be some targets on their backs from the legal profession.

They feel to me like one of the very last holdouts of crypto's wild west phase. They either need to go fully legit or go away. They don't have much of a future as they are and I wouldn't want my money caught up in them when the plates stop spinning.

I don't think they scam individual customers but they have no problem sailing very close to the wind and don't seem to have a problem hiding their troubles. You won't find out you're fucked until long after they've actually fucked you or they've been fucked.

On top of that their market position is no longer dominant. Traders had to be there if they wanted the action. That's no longer the case. Why bother taking the risk?
1898  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-01-31] Senior Adviser / Operator Of The “Silk Road” Website Pleads Guilty on: February 23, 2020, 10:13:32 PM
were people actually selling kilos of coke and heroin retail on SR? i always thought it was much more of a recreational scene. i have a friend who used to buy eighths of weed there. i never actually used it myself---too sketched out about having drugs mailed to my house.

Aye. Curtis Green, the bloke who was 'assassinated' by the bent DEA agent by being photographed with chicken soup on his chin and pretending to be dead was busted having been sent a kilo of coke. Probably by the DEA though.

I seem to recall some pretty high turnovers from real people.

The amounts don't really matter, it all comes from the same source, but possibly the same DEA guy was proposing the Masters of Silk Road or something that was going to be some type of wholesale operation. It was probably total hogwash but was under consideration.
1899  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-01-31] Senior Adviser / Operator Of The “Silk Road” Website Pleads Guilty on: February 23, 2020, 09:58:16 PM
what else could have been done? it's a matter of free markets. ross built it; it's up to the producers to come. for all we know, SR did link consumers directly with producers.

I'm sure he did. But his ethos was also about selling things that didn't hurt or harm other people. That's not to mean the drugs themselves, that's on whoever takes it and go for it if that's your thing, but a kilo of coke or heroin has more horror mixed into it than the stolen items he wouldn't allow sold.

Hooking people up with others who make acid, meth, speed, MDMA etc. is fine with me. The other stuff did not come out of some guy's garage.

I meant via alcohol my friend, to celebrate the crossing of $100,000 per magic, internet coin.

That too. I am an incel, straight edge and will shortly be flight shaming everyone on here too, that's as soon as I get to the bottom of this QAnon stuff.
