Is there a way to lock my account to a static IP address?
|
|
|
Well the IP is listed in the message as being where it came from... what do you suggest?

For the second time now, someone has tried to reset my password on my account.
This time, it came from IP address 63.118.235.5, which traces to the domain "mail.wholesystems.com".
Any idea if there is someone from that domain involved in BitCoin?
Admin, last time you moved this message elsewhere - I think if we can have some of the other threads I've seen in here, a discussion about someone potentially trying to compromise an account is worthy of a discussion.

I'm unbiased in this whole matter.
But I would never trust any of my money with a person or company with this type of track record. A lot of people lost a lot of money because of your service, and as far as I know you didn't fully repay most of them. You disappear for a year and now suddenly are back and expect everyone to trust you. On top of that, you're only 18 years old.
I hate to sound harsh or mean, but I would never trust my money with someone like that, let a alone a child.
Best of luck to you though, I don't know you personally so I can't say anything about you personally. All I can comment on is the service that you ran and what happened with that service and how it impacted a lot of people in the bitcoin community.
+1

It's water resistant pigment based ink and its going on 100% cotton stock.

You actually encouraged me to order ink cartridges (refills with reset chips actually) for a long unused inkjet printer, and some good stock.

Can we all braid each other's hair and eat sugary snacks while we watch together?

This is a really cool thread, idea, and execution. I may have use for these in the near future If I could make one small suggestion, put a web address somewhere on the template for basic instructions, so I can give to a newbie and they can learn everything they need to, like bitcoin.org or whatever.

can you even get cash from mtgox to btc-e quickly anymore? I thought gox discontinued redeemable codes making bitinstant useless for arbitrage between the two exchanges.
Suggested edit: "Can you even get cash from mtgoxxx anymore, period"

I think your next project should be investing. Take in funds, which go into a completely opaque investment, and promise astronomical returns, and use new investments to pay out the old investors.
That Charles Ponzi really had a good thing going for awhile.
Me personally, I can't wait for the ZhouMiner 3000. I can see the taglines already: - "It runs fast like zhou when he found noone believed his fairy tale." - "Delivers bitcoins to your pockets quicker than a hacked exchange." Trade your bitcoins in for FREE LESSONS in how to tell if something is "Too good to be true!"

Keep bumping this topic. The more people who get robbed by this the better. Weed out the morons.
And +1000 internets for the Trojan Horse picture!

Maybe a developer at Apple knows how frequently people get goxxxed and just don't want a bunch of retards calling in to tech support

There are much better things you could spend your money on.
I suggest real estate. NYC has a never ending supply of traffic and tolls are gathered on various bridges. I have a business opportunity, if interested. For $30,000 I can guarantee you a non-exclusive, non-binding lease on the number 3 toll booth on the Brooklyn Bridge. The number 3 toll booth accepts EZ-Pass as well as cash, and could be quite the lucrative opportunity. The term of this non-exclusive, non-binding lease would be 24 months from date of payment. I also have 5, 10, 25, 50, and 99 year leases available.

Those of you that find this disgusting/surprising/whatever:
I find it shocking you have managed to avoid newspapers, television, internet news, and pretty much all information entering your brains since say, 2007/2008.
Where have you guys been?!?!
|
|

Yeah there are coins in the addresses you've posted. I suggest using the blockchain explorer in the future. We have enough panicked "I've lost all my BTC/Money" threads on this board already.
