How about actual food instead of food stamps?
Coming from where? Wouldn't it be easier to give BTC instead of making food. Although, with giving food, it would boost economy. Primarily the Midwest.

Please continue sending your money to Mt. Gox. Once all of the coins are gone we will no longer have to have these threads.
Not sure why people keep using it. I wouldn't touch it. There are btc on there going for like ~$200 right? There are no BTC going nowhere for no money, because they aren't allowing that. Nor a timeframe on when they will.

Not sure why people keep using it. Mild to moderate mental retardation is my guess.

Lets say I write a blog and you read my blog daily. It provides you with a good form of information or entertainment so you feel like you want to tip me. Even if it's just $0.25. How do you tip someone a quarter over the internet with cash? Show me an easy way.
www.paypal.comDon't be obtuse. He said "How do you tip someone over the internet with cash? Show me an easy way". I don't see anything obtuse about that.

I think you should buy in at Gox. Once you get a few BTC to spend, let me know. I actually have fractional shares in a famous bridge I'm looking to unload for BTC. Shares are only 1 BTC each!

Maybe you tie a string to an actual bitcoin, and run into the wind with it, to try and fly it like a kite, as opposed to "Check kiting".
Or maybe it was just a random GoDaddy generated name starting with "Coin".

I guess that answers that question :-)

There seems to be a bit of an opaque moderation policy... Some threads get moved to service discussion, some don't regarding Mt. Gox.
Is this just an "I feel like moving this particular topic" or are there any actual rules to this?

If we want to be super literal assholes about the title:
"Mt Gox CEO Confess to be bankrupt/insolvent" could be seen as a request to do so, not any sort of claim that he has done so.

i was thinking about deposit fiat to mtgox.
Good plan! You could also: -Throw it out the window -Use it to light a fire in your fireplace -Donate it to charity In my opinion, all 3 options would provide a better return on your investment.

Been looking for a credible place to unload my black lotus
You don't count ebay? ;-) I just saw one on there listed for 100 grand. I remember mint ones going for like $500 back in the day and thinking that was a fortune.

Well.. i actually wanted to help you but then i realised if this dumbass had any capability to move forward from the discussion he would have known where to post this thread.
Are we cool dawg?
Nobody on this planet needs or wants your help. You're extra. You can go away now. Go lather up that ButtHurt before you get a rash.
